This is a little gem in Mount Lavinia. Priyana is very welcoming and accommodating and really makes your stay one to remember. Place was very clean and comfortable. Close to the beach, selection of places to eat and just out of the hustle and bustle of the Capital. Would definitely recommend

The place is like a typical Sri Lankan home. Funny, my room opens into the garden and I forgot a few nights to look the door. Nothing happened. Then I share the room with a big fat cat. There is also a turtle crawling about. Staying here is just what I needed after a long time of impersonal and automated environments that is so proudly called "modern". Yes, a great stay. Also close to the beach and bus services to Colombo.

It was a very pleasant stay. I had a nice room with all the freedom that I needed. There is a fridge in the room for cold drinks and the shops and supermarkets are close by. Its nice to take a stroll down the beach for a walk in the evening. Then for visits to Colombo, the bus stops about five minutes away on the main road and the train station also can be reached with a 3-wheeler in a few minutes. Fresh air and a small but nice garden rounds up the description of the place. Too tired? Just take a chair and take a rest. You will soon be joined by a cat and a turtle.

Times have never been so good!”
As I wrote in my first preview: a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, just exactly what I needed. When something went wrong with my business, I felt unhappy but the lady supported me and listened to me, like in a real home. It was like nothing bad had happened to me and I appreciate the comfort she gave me. As a present she allowed me to stay one more night and and the whole day until the taxi to the airport arrived. Then sadly I had to say Good Bye to her and the cat Suba. It was a great stay!

I felt just like ay home. I ran into a few problems and lavinia helped me out each time. The only disadvantage is that its far from city center. Otherwise no other issues.

Fantastic place and Location”
Great place to stay. The property is down a very quiet laneway with the beach a short walk in one direction and the main road with lots of food in the other direction. The property has a nice little garden area out the front, with a large common area with lots of seats and tables and a large common kitchen area. The rooms are big and spacious and a large bathroom too. There is also mosquito netting on all the windows which is great to keep them out. The hosts were lovely as well and allowed us use of a room after we checked out before we left for the airport and were willing to do so much to help us. Great place to start or finish your trip in Sri Lanka!!

Awesome room for cheap price”
Instead of 1 night we stayed 3. The family was very pleasant and the rooms are very nice. We payed 1100 LKR a night what is cheaper than a hostel bed somewhere else. It was very clean and cute decorated. We always would stay there again, we just left because we met some Sri Lankan people and could stay free of charge

Great Budget accommodation. For the price you shouldn't expect the world. Basic clean facilities, the room had its own bathroom and there is a shared kitchen. The hosts pretty much leave you to your own devices, but are willing and capable of providing assistance, such as booking a driver, if needed. For the budget travelers, you cant go wrong

I loved everything about this place , the only reason I would never come back here is because of the lady’s husband , she’s lovely but he is a complete bully . He was angry with me because I had difficulty opening the gate in the day time . He’s not very welcoming , he just growls at everyone, He said I stayed in my room too long 😂 I should be more organised , he was very rude to me accused me of leaving the lights on in the lobby which I didn’t , he was actually shouting at me , I would have checked out then but I had already paid up for another 2 nights . To be fair he did apologise to me after but then next day he was the same again . He is Spanish his name is Arthur from Barcelona. His neighbors all hate him they told me he hates kids , I would definitely not bring kids here , I think he’s got some serious mental issues , it’s a shame because when he’s nice he’s really nice . I did not enjoy my stay there in what should have been a relaxing few days before I moved on

This is a really nice place. Its close to the bus and also close to the beach. The landlady is very helpful and friendly. I was very busy with packing andd arranging of my next trip. The room was untidy and I could not clear up the mess for a long time. But she never said a word even though it must have been annoying. As such I felt relaxed and happy and I was able to leave in time.
