Great service”
My room was ready earlier than normal check-in time which was great as I arrived on a rainy day by train and was rather wet. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and offered good Asian food suggestions nearby which I actually tried that night for dinner. The room was spacious and clean. The view of the valley was nice.

Went up for s weekend with a friend it was great very nice the staff were great couldn’t help enough room was huge the spa bath was awesome the bed was comfortable I can’t wait to go back my first time up to the blue mountains

Decor needs to up styled in the villas to bring it on a level of other hotels in the area. Love the fireplace. Fantastic for our August stay. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. A huge bonus.

We didn't get a view like i booked but we were still given a very nice room and we were still happy. The spa bath and fireplace made the room very cozy. The lady at reception was very lovely and helpful too.

Very good experience ”
It’s a lovely hotel with a great location. The checkin process was very smooth, and Nigel at the reception came up to show us the rooms which was a novelty. Another surprise were the L'Occitane toiletries. Our group of 4, stayed in 2 x heritage rooms which were different in quite a few aspects, so the rooms are not standard like other hotels. The breakfast buffet had incredible views although I could not get the logic for an extra $10 for hot items. A suggestion would be to include it in the room price on Agoda/Booking.com. But overall it was a very good experience.

I stayed in suite 45 which had fantastic views and a fire. A good amount of space in the suite and most kitchen equipment you may need.

The villa is big and the view is beautiful from the balcony, except for the bed that keeps moving apart when you roll while sleeping.

We are sorry to hear about the bed issue - we have looked into this and found that the beds weren’t reconnected properly after housekeeping thoroughly cleaned the villa between guests. A wonderful two nights relaxed stayed in a nature park hotel, with a friendly helpful front desk receptionist and cafe staff, room without view but have a great dinner and breakfast.

Very basic room for premium price”
The cheapest fittings all around, no daily service, half the communal area closed, some lights are off in communal areas, no reception/concierce at night, no maps and other info at the reception, bar is closed, restaurant is closed on Wednesdays.

Good location, very old building”
We went to blue mountains for a short vacation and stayed in mountain heritage for two nights. Definitely not worth the price there. Very old building in the centre of Katoomba. One window was broken and could be closed at midnight, bath towels with a few miserable hairs on arrival, included breakfast was simply cereals and toast, ‘mountain view’ was blocked by a few things. Staff were very friendly though.

The grand old lady is looking tired and run down. The furnishings are faded and worn. The walls are in need of repair. The sign out the front clearly shows “log fires” as a feature, but staff refused to light the fires “unless more people were around”. Most of the staff were great, but a few behaved surly.

Christmas Break”
The Mountain Heritage has a lovely old world atmosphere and the rooms are of a generous size. Mine has beautiful views across the valley and was bright and comfortable. It is rated as a 4.5 star hotel and does have most of the facilities one would expect. Some little details such as a leaking tap and non-working kettle in my room were remedied but not received very gracefully. Room service was good but limited range and only operates between 5.30pm and 8pm. The fitness area needed a good clean and smelled damp. A dirty towel was still lying on the floor from a previous guest. I dont think that area gets much attention. Overall the staff very very kind and helpful and it is a lovely place to stay. Be advised there is no lift so if you have difficulty with stairs this may not be the place for you. An easy walk in Katoomba village.
