Had a very pleasant stay here with my mum wife and baby. The room was very spacious despite opening all our luggages and the baby cot and baby pram filling up the space, hence enabling us to have a very comfortable stay here. Bathroom was spacious as well and is equipped with a large bathtub, stool and shower area is seperated. There is a large balcony for those that like some alone time or to just admire the unhindered view of the surrounding greenery and mountains. Speaking of views, Movenpick is situated beside the beach and there isnt any other tall buildings or hotels nearby so the view is spectacular. Downside to this is that you would have to take the taxi or grab services which is prevalent all across Vietnam for about 15mins to reach the town area where the night market and various famous eateries are at. Car rides to famous attractions like Vinwonders and the Safari is about 20mins, and 45mins+ to the sunset town. Morning buffet spread is amazing with a wide spread of western cuisine and asian food, coupled with various Vietnamese dishes you will spoiled for choice during your stay here. The entire resort gives a cozy and warm vibe being mainly decorated with wood and recyclable materials. Will definitely choose the Movenpick to stay at during my next trip back to Phu quoc!

Overall, a solid choice for a pleasant gateway with plenty to enjoy on-site. Oh ya ! loves the 3pm daily dessert tea break serving at the lobby (its FOC :)), the kids loves it so much, even the adults cant resist!

The lobby has a local tour service, and they actively help you call a car when you go out, which feels very thoughtful. In the afternoon, they provide a chocolate hour, which is quite a surprise. The room is comfortable, but the power outlet is very dirty and dusty, and the bathroom trash can has some rust, plus there are a few stains/dust on the leather decorations. These details could use a bit of improvement to make it perfect. The hotel design is beautiful and easy to navigate, and the gardens are well maintained; you can often see birds and cats, which feels very natural, without any attempt to chase away the animals. There is drinking water available on the ground, and there are shops selling clothes and snacks. The egg benedict for breakfast is delicious, and there are many different types of food available for breakfast, including good congee. On the beach, there are not only beach chairs but also hammocks and swings; lying on the hammock is really comfortable. In short, it is definitely worth booking again.

Movenpick resort provided the best buffet experience from authentic Vietnamese dishes to western cuisine. Not to mention the delightful avocado and lychee ice cream. Room and facilities are kept clean. Service speed for luggage and reception can be improved. Luggages should be brought to the guests room immediately as guests may need access to medication. We waited 2 hrs for our luggage to arrive at our room. Most of the staff were friendly and polite and can speak English well.
