Home away from home
During my 3 yrs in SE Asia I have stayed at some nice places but this hotel was the best. right from check-in, the room was clean, up to date, tv, aircon, coffee maker in the room, amenities in the bathroom, great breakfasts. A place to wash clothes, maps to help you get around. then there's the trekking, thanks to Jun for an epic 3 days! meeting some awesome peeps was fun too!

Great staff!
Clean rooms and good breakfast! Easy to book trekking tours through them. I accidentally left my glasses in my room when I checked out and they came all the way to the train station to find me and give them back. Couldn't believe they would go through that much trouble!

Wonderful surprise
So surprised at how nice the room was for the price! Clean, plenty of hot water, cold air con, and spacious. Staff goes out of their way to help in any way and are so friendly. Only small complaint is that the buffet breakfast would run out if you don't get up early to eat and kitchen had limited menu at times. Regardless, would definitely recommend and stay here again!

They've won
Mr Charles has won the town due to their lonely planet recommendation but they still provide good service. Be sure to count your laundry when you get it back and note that the Internet in town is abismal

Stir-prisingly Swank
Good location with nice sounds from adjacent schools. They offer a map for walks around His Paw, including to "Little Bagan" where I got "lost in a good way", and in finding my way back to town "found" Mrs. Popcorn's organic garden and restaurant. There is also a beautific trek leading to a magnificent waterfall, passing through a cemetery, a trash dump, past a banana plantation, a field of sunflowers and then rather last minute steep climb to the base of the waterfall.
