Friendly people great atmosphere”

Had a wonderful stay at Mr Jack location is great being just outside the city gate, not too noisy but a stone throw away from the din of town centre! People are their greatest strong point with a cosy atmosphere and very friendly people! Information can also be easily obtain from the owner Gary and Rain can't have a better experience I would say great choice if ure up for meeting nice people in Chiang mai!

Friendly Chinese-English speaking owners who can arrange private tours or off the beaten ones if they have time (or group). Not the best location if you need entertainment. But good for those seeking a stay away from the old city. Street food and 7 eleven just 5 min walk while a 20 min slow walk will take you into the old city or a nearby shopping mall. Not for those who cannot click with cats because there are two in the guesthouse. Some noise from rowdy guest across at night (they never seem to sleep!!!) Something one cannot quite control. But no complains for the price paid.

bed is very big , u can sleep 2 person in bed dorm, staff is very friendly and helpful, they give me free bicycle to use .good location. room and wc is clean, many wc and toilete to use . i could check in at 11am, great .

i really like mr.jack,stuffs are so nice,give me a map and some good advices ,I meet some funny guys and go to the grand canyon ,very good experience.the room is very clean and tidy,i love chiangmai

Basic no frills stay for cheap”

Inexpensive and basically met expectations of the price. However, there are many other hostels in this soi for a bit cheaper at about the same quality if not more aesthetically appealing. Only thing was the owners were actually Chinese so they don't speak Thai and some speak very limited English. The man who checked me in had difficulty explaining what he wanted from me. A woman later came that was able to better communicate about the reservation.

Accomodating ”

Although the reservations had been mistaken for one as apposed two.. The staff helped finding the rest of the group a place to stay, very disappointed my group was not all together as we had made the reservations a month prior the staff was kind and helpful! Sometimes that's all it takes...

Fine”

It was difficult to find and our taxi drive got very lost. The welcome was friendly. Our dorm was up 4 flights of stairs and without my boyfriend I would have struggled with my bag. The room was a bit dirty but the bunks were fine, I don't mind hard mattresses. It's a Chinese hostel so bring ear plugs (meant in the nicest but most helpful way possible). The cleaner should probably wait until check put time to clean rooms and showers, she barely swept the room as people were still sleeping and backpacks were in the way. And the bathroom floors became dirty very quickly. Also, the toilet bins need emptying regularly, they were overflowing which is gross. Otherwise it was fine as somewhere to get a few hours sleep.

We have booked 3 separate beds for 2 nights. But after coming, they told us there was only 1 bed left. 2 of my friends have to share the bed and I have to share the bed with another stranger They apologized and promised that we will have 3 separate beds the day after. But finally it still happened the same. No enough bed for us. We have to ask for refund and leave to airport

Staff genial, la dueñanosacerco a la estaciónde bts porque se nos estacaba el tren a chiang mai. Está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila. El Mr Po es un señor encantador que te ayudará en todo y si hace falta te acompañará con su carrito de golf. El hostel está muy limpio. 100% recomendable!

フロントの壁の色が気にいって予約。 いいブルー。 部屋まで階段で荷物を持って４階まであがるのがなかなか大変だった。 景色は良かったが、少し床がベトベトしていて気になった。 場所もとくに付近になにかあるわけでなく、散策もあまり楽しめず。

位置方便，在古城牆外，出大路轉左一直行就到一個小夜市，好多小食，出名的鳳飛飛豬腳飯就係尼度，仲有7-11 員工服務態度好，會講普通話，有一位男的應該就是老闆，識講廣東話
