A home away from home”
Young backpackers must come here!! I arrived by motorcycle around noon, and within 30 seconds of my arrival mr. Peace himself had my helmet removed, my heavy backpack in his hands and a big "welcome!" A map of the city was provided with an overview of the hotspots to check out. Tour information was provided, and bed was ready. The best part of the stay was that there were so many other travellers ready to share stories and beers... especially at mr peaces family dinner! We all pitch in, head to the market, cook together, drink and eat together, and clean up together. Such a nice treat to break up travelling the country alone. The lady of the house works non stop making sure everyone is happy, ALWAYS CLEANING, laundry service, scrubbing your shoes! My bike was brought in each night for safety, my bed was made each day, and free breakfast to top it off. Stop by! You'll feel at home and have a hard time leaving...

Passionate, energetic and Helpful staffs”
Thanks to Mr. Peace, his wife and Mr. Happy. It is a nice hostel and we had a great moment in staying at Dalat. Activities like family dinner, games time, tours are provided. The staff also helped us to call a cab and explained in details to the driver which tourist spots we would like to go. It is highly recommended if you want to have an experience in staying at a hostel with interactions with the others. One thing to improve is... the number of washrooms/bathrooms may not be enough.

Great spot construction a bummer”
As of nov 2019 when I stayed there was loud construction across the alley from the hostel at most hours of the day. Tough on the hangover. Fun place to stay though nonetheless. Very well situated in Dalat and the staff outs on a fun family dinner and pre-party for those looking to go out

Best Hostel I ever had!”
Probably the best hostel I ever stayed at! Mr Peace is pretty much every day there and in the funniest guy I've ever met! The easy rider tours are great and I can only recommend :) first day there was a huge storm and the Terrasse flooded and we tried to save it with buckets and everything we could find. Mr Peace gave us a bottle of rise wine as a gift and gave us some discounts on beer and water! it's quite near the city center and a lot of things are walking distance!

I totally loved it”
I've been to many hostels around the world but this one is one of the best I've ever been to. The beds and the duvets are so comfy, the hosts are so great (you get hugged when you arrive) and it's cleaner than clean. You meet all the other travellers easily - in your dorm, during breakfast, during the "family dinner" or just on the couches downstairs. I'm over 30 so this hostel isn't only for young backpackers. I didn't want to leave because I enjoyed my stay so much.

Felt like family”
I stayed here on the recommendation from a backpacker Facebook group. I am so glad i did. From the moment I walked in the door, my hosts could not have been nicer. As a 46 year old woman travelling alone, I thought I may feel out of place, but quite the opposite. They do a family dinner each night (50k dong), and it is the ideal way to meet and socialise with the other guests. They have a communal area with balcony and bar, where we continued to chat, have a couple of drinks and play games that some of the other guys had learnt from other hostels. The facility is really clean, the beds and room provided a good night sleep, and you get an area to lock away your baggage under the beds. Will definitely return :)

Large dorm with private beds, shared bathroom and great breakfast”
Pros: spacious dorm room with own curtains, reading light, plug, storage under bed. Small balcony. Large bathroom w Showers & hot water. Breakfast was great, generally a choice of 2 options. Staff friendly and helpful Cons: no free bicycle as advertised, the kitchen was not really a working Kitchen, no fridge or gas for stove. this was one I if the reasons I booked this hostel! Staff are never at reception but can be found at Mr peace backpackers 2, just 20m away. They keep your passport after checking in!

Mr peace's house is the best hostel in SE asia”
Mr peace and his family; straberry and Laura, take you into their extended family for the length of your stay and treat you as one of their own, you become part of a group of like-minded people - you will eat together, go to adventures together, drink together and party together. It's all about the family! Fantastic stay all round, thanks so much Mr peace, da lat was the first place in Vietnam I felt really sad to leave. Come here with the intention of getting involved and becoming part of a group and you won't be dissapointed. Peace and love

Fantasic Backpackers”
I stayed here in August & thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are probably the best I had come across and really make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. I stayed in a female 4 bed dorm. They were clean and had great locked storage. Make sure you go to the 'family' dinner, as it gives you a chance to meet and talk with the other travellers. Definitely stay here on your travels.

Amazingly clean and a great atmosphere”
I loved Mr Peace! I’m a little cheap so at first I wasn’t going to stay here until a friend recommended it and I was so glad he did! This place is so CLEAN. The staff is constantly cleaning and making the place spotless and nice. The staff is also just overall nice and I love their family dinners! The dinners (and free breakfast) are a great way to meet other travelers. I would stay here again.

Very nice hostel, but not the place to party”
This hostel is well run and very comfortable, but in comparison to other hostels I visited in Vietnam I found it to be a bit lacking socially. Even the lauded family dinner didn’t do much to change my mind. Look elsewhere if you want to party, but definitely stay here if you’re looking for something a little more relaxed.

Highly recommended! I will feel like staying with friends. Included breakfast were delicious and I also tried 'family dinner' for 50K VND - we cooked hot pot and ate together. I also rented a motorbike and booked a bus to Nha Trang and they helped me with everything. If you go to Da Lat, choose Mr. Peace :)

Good hostel and pleasant company ”
Enjoyed the comfortable beds and hospitality. The family dinner is very worthwhile and the quiet evening was good for sleeping. My only complaint is that the bus service they use caused considerable damage to my motorcycle when transporting it, costing me over 500,000D to repair.

Very meh”
Booked the double room and it was huge. Staff were friendly. That's about it for the good part. Wi-Fi on my floor stopped working and wasn't fixed in two days (I asked staff to restart the router and they said they would but never did). The highly acclaimed dinner was very basic with lots of rice and potatoes and little of else. Breakfast was definitely lacking and not at all like the pictures across all the different websites - no meats at all, only one pancake or bread with eggs. The Mr Peace all-day motorbike tour was very touristy with little information (ex: we came to the chicken village and I had to prompt the guide with questions on why is this the chicken village, etc with very little response), although the guide did a good job making sure we were comfortable with the pace of riding (we had inexperienced and first time riders in our group). Lastly, I was told wrong information regarding airport bus transfer and ended up missing it by about 20 minutes.

I wasn't satify with this place”
I felt staff were unfriendly with Asian ,if you are Asian I wouldn't recommend this place.When I got stomachace because poision food ,I asked staff ,she just told me that overthere is Nurse aids ,let find by myself.I couldn't find it because Nurse Aids is dirty.After that I asked about where is phamacy and she just told me where without take care feeling anything.Here is over cleanliness and over strick for me and room quite tiny ,the good things just good place for meet new friend of European.
