When I got to the hotel it was like the arrivals of the day were not checked. Only my reg card was printed on check in and the receptionist wasnt friendly at all. She looked like she could ask me where do you come from and why are you here. After check in I was given room 212. when i entered the room the duvet had holes just on top and when opening the wardrobe a duvet inner was thrown in there and two blankets one was folded nicely and one looked like someone was coming to pick it up. My colleague called to ask for another room on the 5th floor and I was given room 510. It looked nice and loved the flooring. I then realized there was not remote for TV. I went out and asked reception for the remote and was told someone will bring it. The service was horrible and I asked for the GM's email address the the receptionist full of food in his mouth told me he doesn't have the. I will be in contact with him as soon as the holidays are finished.

The photos on website and reality is different. Hot water is not available easily. Toilets are not maintained properly. Toilet doors do not have locks. The shower in the bath room does not work. Only 1 socket for mobile charge. Breakfast is good. Bed quality is good. The area of the hotel is not safe for tourists and you feel uncomfortable. Better to pay 200 Rand more and get hotels in Midrand area or Sandton. While the GM Mr. Richard was helpful, but still you have to do better on infrastructure.

I arrived a day early because I had an unexpected appointment at another venue the day before I was supposed to arrive. I asked the management to swap my booking to the day earlier. The manager on duty was not in the hotel - so I was told. He refused to listen to my request over the phone, to stay a day earlier even though the hotel was empty. He insisted I pay the standard rate to stay that night - R800. Not a very wise-guy. He blamed Agoda for not allowing me to change the booking. I don't believe this is a valid excuse.

The place is not clean,the breakfast very fatty.i had booked for 10ppl however only 4ppl checked in ”
The hotel still made me pay for dinner for 10 ppl they made me pay for 2 extra days they were unable to adjust my booking according to the number of clients checked inn..I still haven’t received my final invoice

Location is great, it was clean,at my room leg of the deskwas broken I wanted to charged my phone I try to move it then the desk couldn't stand. Internet was working only at the reception. Apart from that it was great to be there I will come back.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Pathetic Wi-Fi connectivity. Only strong at the reception and restaurant areas, it was sorted out only for one night. I had to buy my own data bundles from the local Telecom providers. Out of our five nights stay, only two nights was the room cleaned but bed sheets were changed. The bed sheets were not very clean, they were stained. Water was only provided the first day and it was one bottle. Some staff made endless empty promises to rectify things but never lived to the promise. One particular staff was very friendly and concerned but the rest nope. Breakfast buffet was amazing the first day but it's the same buffet for the rest of the days. Servings were sausages, beans, vegetables, roasted potatoes, bacon and choice of eggs. The red tour bus, just stops at the entrance of the hotel please note it is charged. At least they were a bit generous to extend our check out time to 1300H.

This hotel has an old, run-down feel. The window in my room did not close properly and all the traffic and street noise was blaring into the room - had to change my room. Very limited menu for vegetarians (1 dish). The toilet did not flush properly. The one elevator was not working properly. No kettle in my room to go with coffee service. I needed to stay in the area for an early morning meeting, so location is good for central JHB meetings, but I would not stay here again if I had the choice. Thankfully the staff were lovely and helpful.

I think this is a great hotel. It has a central location, just under 10min walk to Park station, there are lots of places to eat, many shops etc. It is clean, the breakfasts are amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. The location in Braamfontein is very good and there is a Red Bus stop directly outside the hotel. I would stay there again.

The building and its surrounding is ok except the noise on the same building, the thieves in the passage/service lane outside just next to parking entrance, the lifts not in good condition and the stairs carpet not satisfactory. Excellent service from staff members as they try all their level best to satisfy customers

No wifi in room but in corridor. Not allowed to iron in room but in corridor. Could not sleep all night as a guests started singing and making noise fro 11pm till 10am next day. Called security and reception 7 times but no one resolved it. Checked out and it took an hour to locate manager to complain. I was promised a free night stay and no one has called or emailed as promised by the manager. I checked out and booked elsewhere. I have never seen anything like this in my life!

I booked for double bed but when I got there was told that double beds are unavailable and when I agreed to 2 single beds I was astonished to find only one single bed,mind you,am with my girlfriend. TV wasn't working because there was no remote,I asked for the remote but the remote was also not working, I managed to switch it on manually but only to find out that I cannot change channels,I tried to put up the volume but the bars showed that it was increasing though it was still no sound at all.So,if you gonna book at this hotel do not allow them to give you room 310,lights aren't working properly, window doesn't close properly and there's unfinished wiring on the electrical/phone drawer.
