A haven of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of Florence ”

We loved our stay at Ville Sul Arno. It is outside Florence but that was exactly why we choose it and the frequent free shuttle bus was an added bonus. From the outset the staff were very helpful. Breakfast outside in the morning was amazing and a great selection of food was on offer from the buffet. We loved relaxing by the pool at the end of a hectic day sightseeing. My only slight disappointment was that I’m not convinced our superior triple room booked was the one we were given as it was a very small room for 2 adults. However, that aside I would still recommend this fantastic hotel.

Location is really bad don’t stay there”

I was there for my honeymoon and I chose this hotel because the reviews were amazing. But, when I arrived there, the hotel is really far away and the suite was tiny compared to other hotel. Then, My wife and I decided to go to other hotel nothing that I have paid for all of the nights. P.S the photos are not real be careful.

Unfulfilling ”

For a city like Florence, Ville Sull'Arno feels a bit underwhelming. It is located on the bank of Arno; however, it has not been utilised to the fullest. The small windows and uncanny room layout have done extremely injustice to the location. Facilities such as WiFi, mobile charges are quite thoughtful. But the ethos of service and making one feel welcomed were not in the staffs DNA especially the restaurant's one.

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. It is just beautiful and the spa is world class. The staff is extremely helpful and works hard to ensure we had a wonderful experience. We especially loved the restaurant which we used at least once every day. That is how good it is which is saying something for a city known for its cuisine. The restaurant staff gave us exceptional service as well. One small drawback is that the hotel is located about a mile from the center of town. The hotel has a scheduled van which is free and goes to and from town about 4 times a day. We ended up taking it once a day this small inconvenience was far far made up for by the ambience of the hotel and world class restaurant. When we go back, I plan on getting more than the one massage I got this time. It was just that great.

cab fare in Florence is higher than other cities in the country and due to the location, we spent a lot of money on cabs going to and from the city center and main attractions.

Perfect Hotel for Our Stay!”

This place is truly amazing. We were warmly welcomed when we pulled up in our cab, the staff speaks excellent English (thank heavens; my Italian is very poor), the hotel is beautiful, and the amenities are amazing. Do yourself a favor and have an Irish coffee from the bar. Eat at the restaurant. Enjoy the indoor pool. The hotel is not a convenient walking distance to shopping, but it's a quick and inexpensive cab ride, and the hotel will call one for you. We had a room overlooking the river, and the sunrise over the water was phenomenal. The room was comfortable, totally modern and updated, and the sofa was converted into an actual comfortable bed for our 7-year-old daughter. We also celebrated her birthday during our stay, and we were greeted with a birthday cake upon arrival, too. Totally unexpected, pure magic.

The holiday choice ”

We had few communication problems at the begining but the staff and management were very responsive and generous to us. Excellent facilities and best service.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in”

This hotel was chosen because of its facilities, the spa, sauna, swimming pool and the great reviews of its restaurant, bar and rooms. I am often dubious of other people's rave reviews but this was truly excellent. My mother was thoroughly spoiled in this hotel and loved every minute of it. Small things like a regular mini-bus service to the city, free sweets at reception and a small number of rooms make this a cosy place to visit. Yes it is close to the main road so some noise is notable when sitting outside and it is a little too far to walk from the city every day but the staff and service more than make up for this. Thank you Hotel Ville Sull'Arno, especially the friendly receptionists Stella and Noemi.

Initially, although can't be absolutely certain, I thought the price I would be paying was less than £500, for the 3 nights, but was charged nearly £700, I recognise that on searching my emails on my return that you did advise that the cost would be circa £662.45, but nonetheless is considerably more than I had expected? Our room although really nice, was unfortunately located immediately next to the reception & suffered from noise (high heels on tiles, cupboards & drawers opening & closing) continually throught the small hours until morning. In my opinion, this room in particular needs some sound insulation. Breakfast was good, although coffee seemingly only tepid. Staff though were really friendly & extremely helpful.

we went this place for a honeymoon. they prepared many things for us. they really warm welcome us, all staff were super kind. Room condition was really good, view also great. I strongly recommend this resort. one bad thing is, bit far from city but they provide free shuttle bus. We will stay again.

We traveled to Firenze for couple of nights, first night we were tired so decide to eat at hotel cute restaurant. Food was amazing but toke 1h25m to get our starter wouldn't recommend few mistakes and have to say all stuff except chefs amazing and helpful

Lorenzo is a FIND!”

Lorenzo, the bartender, is an amazing mixologist and absolutely made our stay. We would come back just for another one of his special concoctions. Brilliant.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. It truly is a 5* experience. The location allows for nice brisk walks without the busy streets and noise to distract you. The views along the Arno are beautiful, and the rooms itself are cosy and comfortable. The staff are genuinely flawless. This hotel is a piece of paradise in Florence.

Anniversary trip”

We stayed here celebrating our 5th anniversary. The staff was friendly and very helpful they made an excellent recommendation on where to have our Anniversary dinner and we had a bottle of sparkling wine and strawberries on our return. It is a bit far from the city center but a complimentary shuttle is provided but is a 30 minute walk with nice scenery. Overall was an increadible stay.

Great place to stay even on winter”

Highly Recommemded. We love their cheerfull, polite and accomodating hotel crew, the hotel itself is tastefully decorated, the breakfast selection is not much but very tasty, Spa and Hot indoor pool is divine after a long stroll/shopping on a winter day and their additional services of free pocket wifi and free shuttle service made our stay lovelier. We even decided to stay for additional one more night in Florence and booked directly with their Front Office.

Great Hotel - Off the Beaten Path”

Excellent hotel in quiet, nice section of Florence. If you want a flavor of where the locals live and are willing to walk a mile or get a car into town this is your place. If you want to be in the middle of Florence's historic district then this is not your place.
