Perfect location, courteous staff ”

Booked a weekend at this luscious and beautiful hotel. Our room was right in the centre overlooking the pool, the greenery and the picturesque lake. It was just the perfect setting for a 2 night getaway and we were absolutely spoilt and impressed by the staff’s humble mannerism and the beauty of silence (because of where the hotel is located). Only downside was our bed. Wasn’t exactly a double bed, rather two single beds put to one. Didn’t really stop us from enjoying the hotel however. Much recommended!!

Amazing staff, service and food!”

Firstly I have to say the staff were truly amazing, a special thanks to Asanga, Melinda, Awanthi. Their service was first class. The rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The food was Devine, the chefs were really good. All the staff go out of their way to help and freely offer advice and recommendations. The GM went out of his way to deliver a wooden elephant which I really liked. He brought it from the hotel all the way to Colombo for me. I will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Very calm and quiet with a lake view. Nicely laid out restaurant . Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Signboard to Hotel isn't that good. We had difficulty finding it.

Best experience in an unique environment ”

I know all Jetwing hotels, also lot of others around this island and have the best experience from this jewel. The rooms are beautiful designed and you will find special furniture and details all over the hotel. Food and service have been extraordinary good and friendly. The staff is well trained and make your stay simply comfortable.

Average”

Very beautiful hotel and location, but that is it. Bathrooms only have a clear glass door which is ok only if you are a couple travelling together. The staff was generally ok except for the lady who checked us in, she was a bit pedantic. At check in I requested to do it quickly as we were getting bitten by mosquitoes but she insisted to complete her processes with out any flexibility or empathy. Breakfast was good but food in the Chinese restaurant was below average though the quantities were plentiful. Overall but not value for money and just about ok.

Fantastic”

Fantastic location from which to explore the sights of the cultural triangle. Fantastic grounds, our kids loved the green open space to run around and the pool. The suite was huge, a fantastic size for our family, and well equipped.

Great hotel & environment, very relaxing”

Everything was superb. One thing to be improved would be the food quality which is not up to the hotel standard.

Luxury escape ”

Amazing setting and even more amazing staff. Super friendly and nothing is too much for them. Great facilities and the pool is perfect. It is quite expensive and you will need to order a car to get to and from the hotel as it is off the main road but worth it. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing stay, convenient for local sights ”

Peaceful hotel with a fabulous pool, decent food, large rooms and a beautiful view. Small but adequately equipped gym. Friendly and helpful staff (even arranged to forward my kindle to me at another hotel after I left it in our room by mistake). Close to Dambulla cave temple , Sigiriya's Lion Rock and Popham's Arboretum.

Super helpful staff! ”

We stayed at Jetwing Lake for four nights and were super happy with the level of service from the Staff. Personally we do not enjoy hotels in general and are more fun if holiday rentals. However the staff make all the difference for a five star hotel. They were super helpful and we even had a nice chat with bar people, reception staff,. They accommodated breakfast to be delivered to our room as my husband was sleeping late. That was so sweet of them. The hotel grounds are beautiful as you can see the mountain and lake full of lotus flowers. The reception area is beautiful and at the time we seen many baby monkeys playing in the trees. Pool is huge. Rooms are well designed especially bathrooms. We did take the superior room which seems more comfy. Unfortunately the bar closes very early around 11pm and this makes hotel very quite, but I suppose this is the case with most five star hotels in secluded areas.

Best experience in Sri Lanka”

The hotel is perfect in every way, gave us much needed rest for our last night of the trip. The location is a bit of distance from the main road, but we saw monkeys around the hotel! Highly recommended and totally worth the price!

Lovely Property and Staff”

We had a wonderful time at Jetwing Lake and wish we had stayed longer. The location is perfect for exploring Sri Lanka's cultural triangle. Service from the staff was exceptional and we enjoyed spending time relaxing at the property. The dinner buffet is also very good and changes daily.

Wonderful Hotel”

We could not have been happier with our stay at Jetwing. The staff were incredible, the room was spacious and CLEAN, the views were beautiful... by far the best hotel in Dambulla. We also stayed one night at the Heritance Kandalama, but the Jetwing was far superior. The breakfast is better, the pool area is nicer and big enough to accommodate all guests, and did I mention it's cleaner?? This hotel is the best value for your money. It's just superb.

The hotel is nicely design in a tranquil setting. Guestroom comes with a big patio overlooking a charming hill and lake view!

Comfy room with nature view!”

Room is really comfy, we slept really nice. The buffet restaurant is good but bit expensive on the price, water and drinks are not included with the price.

Clean room, loved the large pool”

We were at the annex building where the spa is, which was quiet with view of the lake, but would have preferred the pool view

Beautiful ”

This place is in a gorgeous location. The lake and grounds are very lovely. Rooms were amazing. Try and book as late as possible to get good deals with free breakfast.
