Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely big room and bathroom with big spa bath. Close to metro station. We chose based on location to train station for travelling onwards to Prague, but it was only one stop away from Heroes Square, the park and Széchenyi Thermal Baths.

Nice design hotel”

Enjoyed my two nights at this hotel. It is located tight next to a metro station so this made travelling a lot easier. Great hotel and I recommend people to stay there. High ceiling room and helpful staff.

Very clean, good personnel, nice food”

Pro: very clean room, nice food (to sweet, maybe, like the Hungarian food), very kind and well trained personnel. They have implemented Handy technology for free (good cellphone with no-charge EU calls and free apps). Very well situated nearby Bajsza metro station. Neutral: residential area, so very few restaurants nearby, no st(o)res.

Vacation”

My husband and I visited Budapest for only two nights and it was beautiful. We stayed here at this hotel and from the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and professional. When we arrived I believe our room was not ready so they upgraded us to the Suite. Overall the hotel is modern and updated. Room service is quick and efficient. I would stay here again if I came back to Budapest.

Peaceful and elegant. ”

This property borders downtown and is very close to the park. It’s a 15 minute stroll to the heart of Pest and is a charming, quiet and modern property. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

ok but nothing else”

Not extraordinary but still ok for the price level. In total the price performance ratio is ok. The breakfast rate with 20EUR per person is quite high. We took the cafes around the corner. Rooms with the balcony are good and not to small. It is ok if you love this are or if you have to do in this surrounding. Coffee and tea at the room is part of the minibar. (at other place usually free)

Good location with balcony ”

We enjoyed our stay, the balcony was definitely a plus, clean, good size, good bed, good location to train and sites. Did not eat there. Close to market and late night food. Very nice, thanks and we'll recommend.

Excellent Rooms, Excellent Bathroonm, Excellent Wi-Fi, horrible gym”

Everything is very good, the rooms are much larger than what you usually find in Europe and the ones with the balcony are simply delightful, overlooking the trees and the old buildings). Staff are very helpful. They have excellent Wi-Fi and Excellent Cable Internet. I would like a normal kettle with normal coffee because it's expensive to make your own coffee using the modern Nestle machine in the room with their expensive capsules, although the quality of the coffee, cappuccino and chai latte is excellent for a room beverage. The only thing I was disappointed about was the lack of a gym. Their sister hotel has a terrible gym, tiny, with very old machines.

Sangat Hebat”

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I chose Mamaison because of a special price offer and my excellent memories of an earlier stay at Mamaison in Prague. I wasn't disappointed. The only minor issue I had is that it was difficult for me to lower the temperature in the room below 24 degrees (I had a room facing the street, so I preferred to keep the window shut). Otherwise, I had excellent rest there and was able to both quickly reach my conference venue and to explore some of the city (the location next to the Hero's Square and the M1 line made it very easy).

Wonderful hotel!”

My husband and I and our 6 month old as well as both sets of our parents stayed 2 nights here and we all loved it! The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. The location is great, walking distance to the hero's square, a metro stop and one of the famous Turkish baths. There are cute little patios that we sat out on and enjoyed wine and snacks. We did not try the restaurant because it looked overpriced and not the kind of food we would enjoy, although it looked like it had a really nice atmosphere. There were mini fridges with snacks and drinks for purchase. Nice big bathtubs and plush robes. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back next time we go to Budapest!

Excellent Customer Service”

The hotel itself was quiet and clean and in a good location. What set it apart, though, was the quality of customer service I received. The desk receptionist,, spoke excellent English and assisted me in finding the price, directions, and time of a local Budapest soccer game. He went out of his way to answer all of my questions, pinned the most important places on my map so that I wouldn't get lost, gave me step-by-step instructions on how to get there, looked up the game time to find out when I should arrive, and even made recommendations for local cuisine in the area of the soccer stadium. Checking in and out was painless and easy. The front desk receptionists gave me concise directions on how to get to the airport by train and even sold me the proper bus ticket to get between the train station and airport. I didn't spend too much time in the hotel since I was out in the city most of the time. However, I was happy with the quality of the rooms, beds, cleanliness, and the patio which gave a nice view of the city in the morning.

Beautiful Hotel with Fantastic Service”

Lovely hotel, in a nice location. Staf were very friendly and helpful, the service and standard of food at the hotel restaurant was exceptional. Reception provided assistance with aspects of transport during our trip and were generally very helpful. The rooms were spacious clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitiely consider staying there again. Great location near to several tourist attractions and only a 10min metro ride to the centre of town.

Excellent Hotel and Excellent Staff”

We really enjoyed our stay in the Mamaison Hotel We had booked our transfer through the hotel and it ran very smoothly when we arrived late at night we were greeted by very friendly Staff and were told the Manager had upgraded us to a larger room with balcony which was lovely. We did have breakfast our 1st morning as it was a very wet morning and we werent in a hurry out but neither my husband or myself are big breakfast eaters and decided it was a bit expensive for all we ate so we had breakfast out our next four mornings, We did however use the room service one evening for tea we had walked so much that day we couldn't think of going out again and we really enjoyed our meal in our room at a very reasonable cost. We would certainly return to the Mamaison and would highly recommend it to our friends.

Great hotel in nice neighborhood”

This hotel was a great place to stay in a nice nieghborhood close to the metro and within walking distance to some major sights. Staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. Rooms are clean and well maintained. I thought it was an excellent value.

Only stayed the one night here, Concierge was a wonderful young man , very helpful. Modern bathroom. Only downside was the Bed and pillows were a little bit hard.

Good Location, Small Room”

I stayed in this hotel for New Years 2012. The location is excellent and very close to the metro, hero square and the house of horrors museum. The reception staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. However the restaurant staff were particularly rude. As we arrived late on the 30th, we didnt book NYE dinner. When we went to the restaurant we were laughed at - as tonight is the new year banquet and you do not have a reservation. The waiter was extremely rude and offered no help. Moreover, the price of food in the restaurant is about 40% more than other restaurants in the area. Save your money, go elsewhere.
