Treasure place that I would like to keep ”
It made me feel like I was between Paris and Asia. This hotel is very special. You would feel very comfortable like you are staying in your summer house or second house. Staffs were very kind and helpful. The Mews cafe is also really nice and has lots of delicious food. One thing that I had a bit of problem was the power of shower and hot water. Actually in the morning I couldn’t have hot water. But it wasn’t big issues. Malaysia’s tap water is not very cold. There are lots of nice restaurants in walking distance from the hotel.

Fantastic little gem with a great location & outstanding service ”
We stayed here several years ago, and was really pleased to do a return trip last month. The staff were amazing especially Linda and Collin who truly went above and beyond to ensure we were thoroughly pampered. Location is ideal for exploring Georgetown; Linda will arrange for a trishaw to take you around or just leg it as Muntri Mews is merely a hop, skip & jump away from the noteworthy heritage spots. More importantly, you are within 5mins walking distance of the unmissable Two Frenchies and Le Petit Four Pattisserie. There's local food aplenty within walking distance of Muntri Mews also, although the uber famous food stalls & restaurants do require you do some driving. Back to Muntri Mews - we had a ground floor unit, which opens out towards a lovely little 'corridor garden' with lush foliage, ideal for al fresco afternoon tea. We will return again as this is our preferred place to stay in Georgetown. Big thanks again to Linda, Collin and the entire Muntri Mews crew XX

Staycation in Georgetown”
Easy location. Reached there walking from Swettenham Pier. Took about 15 minutes. Checking in was breezy. Maybe off-peak but smooth nonetheless. Room clean. All amenities working well. Nice traditional deco style. Pleasing to the eyes. Location very near to most attractions whether sightseeing or food hunting or just cafe-hopping,chilling time. Even its in-house Mews Cafe serves delicious local food. Lastly very accommodating as allow me to checkout late so we can do our prayers before checking out. Definitely will return to this fabulous hotel.

Beautiful heritage hotel with impeccable service staff!”
A truly unique Georgetown experience. This heritage hotel is beautifully conserved and spacious. Our family room was huge and comfortable. But the real gems of the hotel lies in its ever attentive and excellent service staff. In particular, Linda and Collin from reception and Durga from the cafe took excellent care of us and my kids. We will definitely return for another stay. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Best heritage stay with wonderful hospitality”
Definitely worth the price for a memorable heritage stay in Penang. Every corner of the homestay gave you a different vibe from the outside world. The room was clean and spacious with all the facilities & amenities provided. Kudos to the staff for the arrangements, and their lovely smile and service throughout the stay. Will come back for another stay next time thank you!

We stayed at the terrace suite, it's in a shophouse across the recept. The room was spacious and comfortable, do check before you make a booking, our room was on the second floor, and you have to climb a flight of steep steps to get to the room. Location is good too, it's about 5-10 mins Grab ride to most spots.

Our Favourite Spot in Penang; Exceptional Service”
Muntri Mews is our favourite spot in Penang! The exceptional service keeps us returning again and again. Big thanks as always to Linda, Collin and Joe for the warm hospitality -- from providing an extra unused room for me to do yoga, setting up a giant umbrella for us so we could still sit al fresco, to getting us cold beers even when the cafe had not opened yet -- we were looked after SO well. Comfort of the room and location of this hotel are also big plusses 👍

Fantastic hotel .I came with my 2 friends and the room is actually very spacious can fit whole family .got 1 large living room and 2 big bedroom with king size bed . I really love their beautiful antique decoration from outside till inside room . Instagram worthy photo spot.Strategic location nearby attraction places ( walking distance). Plus point for the staffs . They are extraordinary helpful and friendly. Keep it up guys! Definitely will come again !🤗

I booked a terrace room and it was spacious. there are 2 queen beds, separate shower (hot and cold) and toilet. The room was very big with traditional ambience ( usage of old sofas but in good condition and marble table - to eat). The fact that the hotel is a heritage hotel makes it instaworthy from any corner in that hotel area. Love the hotel!

Feeling right at home”
We had an amazing 2-night stay at this tastefully decorated boutique hotel. Every staff were very friendly and welcoming, and made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The manager of the place, Linda was ever so helpful and kind; she even gave us a tour around the establishment and explained the history of the building to us. The room was very clean and comfortable. In all, it was a great experience staying here and a beautiful memory to be cherished. Will definitely return again.

Great Getaway for couple”
Located in the Unesco Heritage, a nice walk around. Great for photos! Thank you to the hotel for the wonderful anniversary setup. Helpful staffs too. The Muntri Cafe "Laksa Nyonya" is a must.

Great location. Very near the Blue Mansion, food court and street art. Breakfast choices were delicious and the coffee was very good. We stayed at the charming Terrace suite with its old world decor but modern conveniences. Staff were warm, friendly and very accommodating.

we had a wonderful stay... the staff were very accommodating and the location is walking distance to the main historical attraction of George Town. The cafe offers an excellent dish (breakfast, lunch and dinner) complemented with a cozy ambiance atmosphere. ,

Beautiful hotel with good location”
The hotel was a stunner from the moment you walked in, and staff who greeted us were amazing! No fuss about checking in early (around 11+), free popsicles, and the room was very spacious, with a separate lounge area from the sleeping area. Only gripe may be that there isn't water readily available, and it is a little difficult to call for room service as there isn't any phone in the room. Being an old hotel, there were also design features that needed working on - we stayed in Norway and the room door wouldn't lock properly unless you locked one side before the other, else you could push both doors open easily even if you've locked it with the key. The bathroom doors would also slam shut very annoyingly. However all that aside, it was worth the stay, would definitely recommend!

Stay in a piece of history at Muntri Mews”
Muntri Mews (MM) is a place that has been beautifully restored. The standard rooms are large - even has a day bed in the ‘lounge’ area of the room. Away from the hustle and bustle of Love Lane’s (LL) night life and yet, 3 mins and you’re in LL! Cafes, restaurants and a convenience store are all within walking distance of MM. You can curl up with a book on the day bed or on the bench outside your room. Oh and the staff are super friendly!

Great Choice in Historic District”
Really can't beat this place if you're looking for a convenient place in the historic district of George Town. The rooms are spacious and comfortably designed. Staff were friendly and you're within walking distance of everything. Quiet street too.

Beyond my expectations”
This hotel was highly recommend by a friend. At first we were having doubt if they could provide the same comfort and service comparing to other five star hotel we used to stay in. The hotel was located in a street away from the main traffic but transportation was never a problem. Plenty of tourist attraction within walking distance if not 5 to 10 min drive. The check in was fast n sweet and We settled into our historical suite in no time. Everything in the room is simply amazing as mine family n I love it so much. The breakfast at the hotel cafe is simple but taste great. All I can said is booked yourself in this hotel the next time u visit Penang. You would be disappointed n matter of fact u might even fall in love with it
