The website charged me the full tax and then I had to pay the (tax x 2) at the hotel, then after several calls and clarifications...they returned 1 tax to me so I end up paying the tax doubled (twice).

Comfortable hotel with great views”
The Novotel was a good choice for a stop over to recover from a long flight. Quiet rooms, good food and lovely swimming pool.

Really friendly!”
Last night of our honeymoon! They greated us kindly and had decorated the room with some balloons and towels in the shape of two swans. Also there was a small plate of fruit. Really friendy staff. The rooms are nice, lots of towels, a bathrobe, flipflops etc. Only point which has to be improved is the breakfast. We had to leave at 7am for our flight so we decided to join for breakfast (50 AED/12€ per person) which started at 6.30am. But around that time only half of the breakfast was ready and even when we left at 7am they still came in with different foods. That made that we couldn't have any of the cheeses, meat, olives etc while we did pay for the full breakfast. There is a thing to improve for sure.

Quality - at a price”
Beautiful hotel and very good staff. The room cost was very reasonable for the quality but food and beverage very pricey. That said, I will certanly stay there again.
