Bilik yang luas.
Sesuai dengan harga”
Semua bagus cuma aircond bilik seperti x berfungsi. Bahagian servis dh dtg tgk pun still sama. Suhu dh 18 tapi rasa mcm 27. Anak-anak tido xpakai baju. X sejuk lgsg. Sarapan pagi hbs dan lambat di tambah. Menu sarapan x byk. Pinggan dan cawan lambat dicuci sehingga pelanggan terpaksa tunggu. Lain-lain ok. Check in cpt, parking utk kereta sgt selesa, jakuzi dalam bilik best.
Pendapat Tentang Hotel Sterling”

I booked the family room, that comes with Jacuzzi. So the highlight of the stay is the jacuzzi in the toilet. The children absolutely love the jacuzzi. However, the downside of having a jacuzzi in the room is the musky smell of the room caused by the constant wet carpet in the room.
As Historic as Melaka”
This is a very old hotel that fit well with all the historical sites and museums of Melaka. We arrived very early, 4 hours prior to check in. The staff is very nice and helpful, they let us park our car in the lot and keep our luggage in the store room. We then walk to A Famosa, about 10 minutes or so from the hotel. From there you can explore all the historical site on foot. We did all the museum, Stadthuys, Christ Church, river cruise, Taming Sari Tower, and Jonker St. That is how near the hotel is to the major attractions in Melaka. We walk back to the hotel at night. (A word of advice., the road in some part of Melaka is narrow, some section do not even have pedestrian lane.) We arrive the the hotel, beautifully lit. It’s like visited another historical part of town. The room we have is spacious and clean. To our surprise, we also have a Jacuzzi waiting for us. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay in Melaka.
Room carpet has smell and not well maintained”
Room was not clean properly found mineral water bottle under the bed. Complained about the leak in the toilet and the cleanliness, they change us to another room. Dampness smell from carpet is not so pleasant. Don’t think I will stay here again. Location very good, right in the middle of the Melaka city, walking distance to hard rock and to jonker street. That’s the plus point
Decent hotel and good location”
The size of the room is nice unlike the rests of Malacca which is a little cluttered. It's close to the Malacca town, 15 mins walk, so it's not so jammed. The hotel parking has security gantry, somewhat felt safe since we drove from sg. the wifi speed and coverage is not splendid. There was only reasonable connection in 1 x 1 metre area in our 9 x 4 metres room.
Worth to stay but no breakfast”
The place was awesome and value for money however last minute the hotel informed breakfast would not be served and will get refund. There is no any notice about it upon check-in. Other than that, it is nice location to stay.
Photos on Agoda looks good. That's about it.”
Pros - Right inside Malacca's Little India. Capitol Satay Celup is nearby. A few little shops and eateries all around the area. Lots of carpark lots. Love the jacuzzi. Cons - Cleanliness can be improved. Location wise not the best, but still acceptable.
Location was ok, near to Jonker walk. Room was not properly cleaned. Coffee table was not cleaned and we could find ants near thd bed. In addition, we have booked room with breakfast, but upon checking in, we were told breakfast were not included.
Recommended. Very near to the tourist attractions
Great value from Sterling Boutique Hotel in Malacca”
My wife and I spent 4 nights in The Sterling Boutique Hotel in Malacca in mid-April 2019. Superb value at a low cost. Extremely large and bright well-appointed suite-style rooms. Jacuzzi-style bathtub-shower complicates showers though water flow excellent. Staff cheerful and helpful. Good breakfasts I attractive roof top setting. Superb location very short walk from major museums, historical points of interest, Jonker Way and Melaka River. The Sterling was highly recommended to us and we certainly will recommend it highly to any visitors to Malacca.
Good location. Very clean. Exceptional customer service.”
Close to attractions. Free private parking and safe. Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Exceptional customer service. Hotel staff were very polite and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable and that we have a great time in Melaka. Will definitely stay again.
The room was quite big (Superior Family Suite) for 3 adults or kids (2 or 3 children). The room is clean but the temperature for shower cannot be adjusted. Luckily the water is warm enough for us. There is no iron and ironing board in the room. Still, you can use the iron and the ironing board at the corridor. The room air-conditioning is well maintained and can cool the big room. Their breakfast is quite good and you can choose from local food and western food. You can eat the breakfast at the indoor or outdoor at the rooftop. The best part is you can enjoy your meal while enjoying the city view from the rooftop. There is car park around the hotel and free access for the customer, but very limited. It is small but there is access card to enter the car park. If the car park is full, there is a private car park but you must pay RM5 per entry. In front of the hotel there is 24hr conveniences store and local bank. The hotel is not far from tourist attractions. You can walk or using public transportation. Overall the hotel is good, value for money and suitable for families. The surrounding is quite even though the hotel is beside the busy road. :)
Sinking noisy mattress”
The location is good and convenient. Excellent private parking. However, poor wife reception even though the maintenance staff tried to fix the router outside our room. Room is dark with dim lighting. Mattresses sink and bounce when one turns. Did not sleep well for the night.
Perfect place, cleanliness and bathroom, great breakfast !!!!!
Stay at the sterling hotel Malacca”
The staff was responsive when I didn’t get hot water the 1st night and got it fixed on the 2nd day. But there were ants running along the walls near the bed, so I was concerned about the cleanliness issue.
Positive: Large and bright rooms Good location near to Jonker Some convenient shops around Old part of town within walking distance to Jonker Impressive hotel building Very quiet hotel Negative : Bathrooms could be cleaner No facilities
Gave only 1 room door access card when we had 3 adults. Not even 2 cards.”
Staff were so unwelcoming to the request for an extra access card. Kept saying no more card and hotel management rules. If one member of the family is resting in the room and other goes out, with one key you cant leave the electricity and aircon on and rest cause the other person need the card to come back late. Lame excuses.
Pros: Have parking facility, close to convenient stores, can walk to jonler street, big room, friendly staffs, clean Cons: the AC was not working on the 2nd night. Have to wait for the engineer to fix but still not working. So given a portable AC. Inconvenience for paying S$90++ per night.
Generously, spacious room for the money. Staff was especially attentive and helpful. Essential oil diffusers were around every corner, not sure what their purpose was? To cover up mustiness? Also had to call engineering to repair our shower fixture. Facilities were beginning to show wear & tear. Breakfast options were extensive, perhaps less is more mindset should be implemented, so quality could be increased. Overall this hotel met our needs for an overnight in Malacca
Excellent location for both walking and driving, ample parking provided, staff were great. Great showers in the room, but the hotel lacks certain facilities such as a gym or pool, the breakfast dining area is rather small and cramped. Take note some rooms are not offered with breakfast.
Insufficient breakfast ”
The hotel offers buffet breakfast from 7.30-10.30am, but after 9am you might not get any food. I have seen a group of 4-5 people being told the kitchen is closed. The hotel cooks only a tiny portion of each item; for example, 5-6 small pieces of chicken or fishes, pieces of 2-3 potatoes. So you will find the food containers always empty. Even the butter they put so small quantity that it finishes within minutes and you have to wait for them to refill again after few requests. I noticed most of the containers including the fish, chicken, squid and even simple soups (plain veg soups, they don't offer some good ones) are almost empty at 8am. Even if one stays in this hotel, I recommend to get a without breakfast option and eat somewhere else. AGODA should give its customer a breakfast not included option to book for this particular hotel.
Comfortable stay with small kids”
Spacious room with 2 king sized bed. Locarion is great near to melaka attraction. Kids enjoy the hot tub jacuzzi. Overall was ok but need to improve on the service and breakfast buffet. Too many nepal , bangladesh and myanmar staff in the hotel .Rarely see local only at reception. Limited buffet spread and tasteless.
Tranquility & Fresh”
The hotel ambiance is nice with refreshing smell. Felt safe with the private parking allocated. The staff is helpful & friendly. Stayed 2 nites in the double deluxe suite with jacuzzi. Room is spacious & comfy surrounded with windows..good morning sun. Walking distance esp to Jonker walk. Value for money.. :)
Good location. BF pretty good too; esp for the amount paid. Internet strength vary for some rooms. There are 24hrs provision shop opp the hotel. Check out Madras sarabat stall (Kopithiam) too! Their prata - very nice! They served chicken curry mee robus (something new; not found in SIN). Lots of Carpark @ Hotel. Free parking. Night parking only for hotel guest. No worry for those driving. But carparks are open to public too, till 10pm. So if you do drive your car out of hotel, return to hotel after peak hour (you should be able to find parking lot). Hotel is just 10min from Jonker, St.Pauls Church, 15min from The Shore Mall (Tangs) & other places of interest.
Great Stay,Friendly Staff”
Room is very Clean with private Jacuzzi..spacious.everything is nearby.walking distance to Jonker street. Staff are very friendly, especially one malay girl.Welcome drink during checkin is nice.Breakfast is average.taste is good, less varieties..highly recommended hotel.Definitely will stay here again. :) 5star rating for this hotel.
Surprisingly nice hotel at a good location”
Surprisingly nice hotel at a good location. Renovated and clean. Nice heritage feel as if staying at Raffles Hotel but without the posh fixtures. Ample carpark and friendly staff. will stay again if price remains reasonable.
great outdoor jacuzzi”
I had been staying in the sterling hotel Malacca every year as my anniversary celebration with husband.. Still choose to stay at executive room with outdoor jacuzzi room number 110. Everything just as great only the room and bathroom need some update and minor renovation to make it look fresh again. I prefer to stay here due to the parking space which alot hotel within jonker street walking distance lack of.. and just few steps away from Capitol Satay. Hopes that the hotel will keep up the standard coz hotel with outdoor jacuzzi is a huge plus point. Will be back again in the future year.
Sterling- living up to its name”
Indeed, the place looks sterling! The facade makes you feel you have checked into an expensive hotel. It is sterling and quaint. The hotel speaks of the city - quaint with a dash of modern facilities. The room was incredibly spacious that if you traveled with a big family, it can accommodate you all. It is walkable to the sites and eating places. The staff are helpful and accommodating.
Great Location & Value”
Te Sterling hotel is situated just outside Jonker Walk so you don't have to brave congested traffic but get to walk to Jonker Street easily. The location to me was excellent. The price we paid for a room for 3 persons was absolute value for money. Staff were friendly and courteous and the room was comfortable in general. I would recommend.
Good Location. Run Down Rooms”
Great location to begin with, but thats all to this place is. Rooms are run down, being fooled by the hotel exterior. Leaking shower. Car park access and availability is a nightmare.
Good location and nice exterior”
Nice to take pictures with the exterior of this building The in room design feels a bit old and very basic mixture of furniture. Spa bath in room toilet is interesting but feel a bit odd with the old toilet feeling. Small restaurant at rooftop serving basic breakfast.
Go find another hotel”
First of all, this hotel has no bell boy but i am okay with that. Your hand are full with all luggage, but there is no one at the reception offer to hold the door for you. The reception only give you one access card. Imagine if u need to go downstairs to buy pack food alone, u need to bring the access card to use the elevator, and your family members will be left without air condition as it need access card too to swicth on everything. There is no breakfast,as both chef were absent, and the hotel nothing to find any solution. They only offered for a refund. I do not want any refund, but I want my food,my kids are hungry. Carpet floor is filthy. Overall this hotel is only good for its location, otherwise it is hell.
Spacious and clean room, convenient location, friendly staff. Overall a good stay and value for money. Will stay at this hotel again.
old hotel but still nice”
old hotel but still nice
The room was extremely spacious and clean. However it was very dissapointing when our AC tripped off quite a number of times, and had to wait for the techinician to rectify. Worst part was the water heater!!! where there was no hot water in the jacuzzi and also shower. Its not worth the money we paid as we couldnt utilize the beautiful jacuzzi located at the balcony. We called the receptionist to solve the water heater prob, but nothing was done . The hotel management needs to look into this problems as there are quite a number of reviews stating the same issues .( WATER HEATER, WATER PRESSURE AND AC)
Location was perfect and hotel provided with ample parking space. No need to drive out, all withing walking distance. Within minutes walk, there's a morning market with varieties of local food. Only downside, the hotel lobby looks a bit gloomy, not bright enough. Else, all good.
We stayed at the Sterling Boutique Hotel for our quick getaway in Melaka and were in awe with the whitewashed building especially the in-room jacuzzi tub. The kids loved it! Location wise was good too - just a mere 5-10 minute walk to the main attractions such as the Jonker Street and The Stadhuys. Simple breakfast spread but yet it was very fulfilling. Love it! 😁
Not very good experience stay”
This is a small old boutique hotel. We have a big group of 8 pax with 2 children and 1 elderly. One of our rooms have caught bed bugs! Even though they sent staff to change the bed and linen, all of us didnt sleep well the next night. The furniture in all the rooms are old and tap water current is so slow. They have a friendly indian staff that work night shift. Will not come back or recommend hotel to anyone unless they do major renovation
Highly recommended for both business & holidays except..”
I have booked into Sterling's Deluxe Double Suite with Spa Bath. The room was spacious, and clean. Wifi reception in my room was strong. But the water pressure in the bath was low and the hot water wasn't hot at all. Overall is worth the price I paid and is very near to eatery outlets yet quiet away form the main street.
Daaa bestttt hotel”
Price is cheap comparde to what you will get. Jacuzzi was awesomee, Huge room, breakfast was delicious and worth it. Clean room and helpful staff. Parking provided. Location near all the main attraction in Melaka. Recommended
Not worth it”
Something wrong with the aircond. We cant sleep well because its so hot and sweating. Room for 4 adults but towel for 2. Toilet smells, hot shower knob broken so that morning my family bath in cold water. Very limited choices on breakfast, ask for sambal nasi lemak to be refilled but was rejected. It will be my last time staying there. Not worth it at all.
Great location & service
GREAT LOCATION, walking distance to JONKER STREET. LOVE the heritage design and the loft restaurant for breakfast. Simple breakfast prowided.
GREAT locatin , spaces room for family room. walking distance to JONKER STREET. ”
GREAT LOCATION, lone the heritage design. walking distance to Jonker Street.
Great walking distance to some restaurants and sightseeing point. Comfort bed but can feel itch and i get the bug bite...
Great location and big room. Breakfast can be better. ”
Pros - location, rooms, carpark Cons - breakfast
Best hotel 😁”
Overall was good..
Excellent location. But a little rundown, as the deco a little old. Cleanliness needs to improve. I got a room with lots of ants on the dressing table. Got a spoilt safe box but they change it for me immediately. Love the bath spa but need to clean it properly by myself. Lots of algae on it. Overall nice & good location. Just cleanliness really to improve.
We have a great experience staying in this hotel. Dedicated parking location with Jacuzzi tub in the room. Overall very clean. Not that near to Jonker Street, but nearby do have eateries and street shopping. Recommended to stay and have fun.
