It was one of the best places I have stayed in Japan for that price, great value for money and very good location right in front Kawaguchiko station. Staff were nice and polite and the facilities were very clean. The family room was a bit small for 4 people once we set up the futons, but we did it right before going to sleep so it was fine. There are common toilets and showers that were super clean and they provided all the amenities you need. Highly recommend.

Great location, thin wall”
Locations is great. Close to the train station and is surrounded by lots of restaurants. Check-in was smooth. The room is super small tho and the wall is thin. I’m not a light sleeper but it was really loud and noisy in the morning when ppl are getting out. It’s sparingly clean and free washer/dryer to use. Drinking water and tea/coffee are available. Provides towel, shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion.

Very cool Ryokan, 5-min walk from Kawaguchiko station”
Only 5-min walk from Kawaguchiko station. Please note that the check-in counter is a container box which the ryokan is 1-min walk away from the check-in counter. (Check Google Maps carefully as there are 2 places marked as 'Samurise Hostel', I was going back and forth because I wasn't sure which one is right). The place is a traditional Ryokan, we were staying at Ume (Plum) Room but I think the room is so cold and the heater wasn't working that well. (We're from Thailand so maybe we're just not used to it)

Great little place at a fantastic value ”
Found this place for 4 people for a night in preparation for visiting Mount Fuji the next day. Facilities were very clean and the staffs were helpful in guiding us of where to eat and specific attractions to visit in the area. Only downside was the room smaller as expected, but maybe because we maxed out on the number of people for private room. Car park was also available for us, right next to accommodation. Location is next to the station, so it does appear convenient, but we drove here on a car hire, so can't comment much on that. Otherwise, would definitely restay here if I visit the area in the future!

Lovely little hostel close to nature”
The staff at the office was very friendly and helpful, we also rented bikes for the day. They were in good condition, fairly priced. The hostel itself was clean, we loved the fact that laundry and dryer were free. Additionally, free tea and coffee all day. The room itself was a little bit dark, it felt a bit dusty as well. But apart from this, it was awesome. I would recommend staying here.

located only 150m from kawaghico station, really recomended for live in kawaguchiko, you can go to churito pagoda only 10 mnt, and you can reach lake kawaguchiko only 15 mnt buy bus. this hotel really reccomended but the trash its liite bit annoying, because the staff didnt come everyday to clean the hostel, the futon its really great, but heater in the centre room is dirty, the heater in the wall cant cover the cold temperature.. so the room still cool.

We loved our stay here. The staff is so nice and helpful. Whatever you need they will make sure it is arranged properly. Although the rooms do not have an individual bathroom the two showers in the Building are very nice, hot and with nice pressure. Rooms are supplied with refrigerator, kettle, futons and very nice thick duvets!

Dainty and Full of Flavor Hotel Stay ”
The room has a little Japanese Alter inside, spacious enough for three-four person. Bathroom area is shared among other travelers, 2 Bathrooms, 2 toilets. 5mins walk to the office where you get the keys for the hostel (almost next to the office, have to walk a little road in). Will definitely consider my stay there again!
