Personal, friendly, caring, most amazing hotel!”
I absolutely loved it at Muca Boutique Resort! I have only been gone one day, and I miss it terribly already. The place itself is beautiful, the staff is so friendly and personable, the pool is small but perfect with a view of the kanal. I could go on and on about how great it is, but here are three reasons it stood out as the best hotel experience ever: when there was miscommunication around my first room service order, they immediately reimbursed me for the wrong order (even though I had tried eating some of it), and they apologized profusely even when I personally didn't think it was such a big deal. On my last day, I met some of the other guests who were leaving the same day as me. One of the guests had some health issues, and even though check-out is at 12, the hotel let the guest stay in their room till 2pm when they were leaving, free of charge! When I arrived at my next hotel in Da Nang where I was staying after my time in Hoi An, the staff there told me that the Muca staff had called to let them know I was on my way. Again, showing that they care about their guests. The Muca staff were friendly and all tried remembering mine and other guests names and home country. I really can't recommend this place enough, I know I'm going back for sure!

A hidden paradise”
Staying at Muca Hoi An Boutique resort was the best part of my trip to Hoi An. They are not located in the center of town, but offer a free shuttle to the town and to the beach. They also offer bikes free of charge to ride around town, or to the beach very close by. At the beach, they have free lounge chairs with umbrellas for hotel guests, which is lovely. We had a few hiccups with the room not having two beds, but they were more than accommodating when the manager discovered the mistake. It was a lovely place to come back to each day, I would more than recommended staying here!

Fantastic Hotel”
We stayed at the Muca Hoi An for 2 nights and were extremely pleased with everything about our stay. Our room was spacious, with high ceilings, and very clean. The food at breakfast was very good and the pool area and bar were lovely. They are currently developing a spa area, which unfortunately was not completed whilst we were there (we knew this before arrival). They provide free bicycle hire to cycle to the beach/old town which is great. However, you can also hire a moped for a small charge if you want. The staff were very friendly and helpful and this added to our overall good experience. Great value for money and highly recommended. Please note: Hoi An is a fair drive from Da Nang airport. If you stay for 3 nights or more you will probably get free transport. Anything less (like us) and you will have to pay. Private cars offered by the hotel are not cheap. You can get cheaper transport using other companies who will use a minibus and pick up travellers from a few hotels before taking everyone to the airport.

Amazing place”
We spent at Muca a total of 10 nights, our stay was very pleasant, we got to know all the staff working there and we felt we they couldn't do enough for us.. Extremely attentive customer service. The rooms was very comfortable, we had a top floor garden view room (207) with private outdoor terrace, great if you want chill out outside for your morning cup of coffee or in the evening for the night cup! The hotel offers a regular hourly shuttle bus service to the beach and tho Hoi An town centre, great for people watching and dining out.. Then if you missed the shuttle you can ride the complimentary bike offer by the hotel or book a taxi for pennies.. The hotel also has its own spa, clean and has highly qualified trained staff working there too, we had daily voucher to use with one hour spa service of our choice a great way to relax and pumper yourself.. Although resort is not huge, It feels very cosy and private, it have a manicures lush gardens and a beautiful infinity pool were you can sip your cocktails drinks while working on your tan. We definitely recomend this place to anyone and probably we will be back if visiting Hoi An again. Eliseo & Tim

Two days are far from enough for Hoi An and Muca resort. This resort deserve all the positive comments on these websites. The hotel staff are like friends chatting with and taking care of you. My flight to Hoi An was switched to the next morning due to my health problem. The hotel staff pick me up in the morning and ask the kitchen to make porridge & ginger tea for me. Plus, they said I could delay one day to check out! For free... I was super surprised. The reasonable room price include one hour spa every day. And the spa was very professional and relaxing. WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK.

Tranquil hideaway”
A really great stay at Muca Hoi An Boutique Resort. A tranquil hideaway midway between the town and beach meant you you pop onto their free bikes and cycle to their private beach or town with ease. The set up on the accommodation is very pretty and calm, overlooking the river and tucked away from the roads. It's well landscaped, the customer service is exceptional and restaurant perfectly placed. I would definitely return again.

Hoi An Riverside delight”
THe Muca is an absolute delight. I didn't really appreciate the description of 'riverside' area meant the Hoi An delta. Now I have been there it is a charming rural area stepped back from the tourist shops and restaurants 3.5km away from the ancient town of Hoi An. The hotel has a shuttle service to the town or Cua Dai beach convieniently though the day and evening. The beach arrangement means you are by a restaurant and sun loungers and shade. The food there was really good but there was no pressure to choose them. The hotel is so beautifully arranged, the pool lovely and cool, and hammocks amongst the trees so you can get shade but find sunshine too. The breakfasts offered great variety of Vietnamese and western. And of course the spa treatments! You can have them as a couple or separately, skilled staff and genuinely nice. We travelled with 2 teens and they loved it and didn't want to leave but nor did I. The rooms we had were spacious and fresh. A real gem!

Beautiful Hotel Highly Rccomend It ”
We have just stayed at the resort for 9 nights and it was not long enough, I had the most relaxing holiday made only better by the friendly and helpful staff, they always welcomed you with a smile and a friendly greeting. the hotel manager introduced himself to us and made time to to chat with the customers at breakfast. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens with loungers and hammocks making this the perfect place to relax on a lazy sunny afternoon reading a book or sipping a cocktail. The pool area is quite small but this was fine for what we needed and all of the guests seemed to enjoy it whilst we were there. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service to town and private beach but I never used this during my stay we used the complimentary bicycle which was great fun and as Hoi An is very flat not a lot of effort is needed on a warm day so give it a go, also moped to hire opposite hotel £3 per day. Breakfast was included and there was a wonderful assortment of fresh fruit pastries and hot choices and an egg station for delicious omelettes or egg any way you desire. Their is a beautiful area just past the dining room where you can choose to eat or just relax on the comfortable sofas watching the river run past. We also took advantage of the Spa (a one hour treatment included in the price of the room daily so a couple can have half an hour treatment each or save it for a day and have the wonderful Vietnamese massage together it was great) the Spa area is beautiful and the girls know how to relax you it was great after a day on the bike. I could go on and on about how good this Hotel is but if you are taking time to read this review and are thinking about staying there please don't take my word for it book up you will love it I know I will definetly be going back. Cool hotel, excellent value”
A wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Note that it's not in the middle of things, so you'll need a bike (provided for free by the hotel) or scooter (for rent for just $5/day across the street) to go exploring. The hotel's "private beach" is badly eroded and located behind some overpriced tourist joints. Instead, take your scooter and continue some 3 km to the north, toward Da Nang, past the Hoi An Boutique Resort, then turn right, park at any of the small restaurants that offer free parking, and go over the dunes onto the most wonderful beach in the world. Clean, deserted, unspoiled. All just a 10-minute scooter ride from the hotel. The grounds of the hotel are wonderful. It's hard to find a place to stand to take a photo that captures it, but it's great.

Fantastic place, brilliant staff”
An excellent boutique resort away from the noise of Hoi An but close enough to get in there every day with the free shuttle. Only a short way to the beach, also by shuttle. The best thing was the staff under the direction of General manager Mr Tan & the fabulous Manager Ms Ly, all the staff are absolutely fabulous!! My husband got sick & Ms Ly arranged for her driver to take us to the International Hospital, she booked the Doctor & even escorted us there & came with us through the whole process. Service is fantastic ! Resort itself it set in the midst of beautiful gardens with a small pool & a great spa. The food was good too (including breakfast)so if you didn't feel like going into town, there was lots of food on site. I'll be back for sure!!

Something special”
Muca is really something quite special. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and our time there was made as relaxing and as pleasant as possible by the attentive staff. Compared to some of the massive hotel resorts surrounding Hoi An, Muca provides a more personal experience - couldn't recommend it more highly. Free shuttle bus to town and beach was also much appreciated.

The hotel and spa are in a great location, only a short ride from the private beach and they also run a free shuttle service to and from Hoi An ancient town. The facilities are amazing, from the pool to the food and everything in between. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and always gonout of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are well air conditioned with great facilities and extremely homely. Muca is by far the best place we have ever stayed and we will definitely be back.

Idyllic Escape”
A most enjoyable stay. We were a family of 5, parents with daughter,husband anda very active 2 year old. The rooms were spacious, cool and quiet. Pool was lovely,breakfast sumptuous, setting relaxing. We enjoyed the peacefulness and we're more than happy to travel by scooter to town and the beach. A short ride to either. The staff were helpful and pleasant. We are still in Vietnam and already looking at booking a return trip. I would definitely recommend a stay at Muca Hoi An

This place is a couple of miles away from the main center of Hoi An, but the hotel provides free shuttles several times a day to town and to the beach, which is closer. They also provide bicycles free of charge, which I used daily to ride to the beach. The room was large and well maintained, with nice furniture and decorations. The breakfast was good, including eggs and omelets made to order. The grounds are manicured and lovely. The pool is of adequate size and well positioned. The restaurant over the river is charming and the food, what little I ate there, was well prepared and affordable. The staff was friendly, but not overly so. They were very accepting of a gay couple. ( We may have been a bit of a novelty. ) I highly recommend the Muca.

Pleasant and relaxing stay. ”
We stayed in this beautiful boutique hotel for 3nights as a group of 5 including couples. The gardens are beautiful and the pool, although a bit small, has a brilliant view overlooking the river. The hotel has only been open 3months so the hotel staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. English was not fluently spoken by some of the staff which sometimes made simple queries or ordering food and drink get lost in translation but they certainly made up for it in friendliness! The hotel is located 3km out of Hoi an town and just 1km from the beach. We used both the bikes and the shuttle that the hotel provide for free to get ourselves around. They are in the process of opening a spa and this would only add to its charm. We found it the perfect get away and the hotel provides a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy Hoi an from.

This is my second time to Muca! I and my wife really enjoyed the garden and hospitality of all the people working for Muca. Even though this facility is a little bit far from central town, the shuttle schedule was really convenient for eating and shopping in town. If you want a quite time for your healing, I could recommend Muca as the best in Hoi An.

I can only recommend this place! It is not my first visit in Hoi An, but from now on I will always return to this beautiful little jewel! I live in this region since a couple of years and I am truly impressed by the well-trained and organised staff at Muca. Very friendly, very helpful and that was true for everyone, from reception, to guards, to gardener and cleaning ladies. The rooms are new and spotless clean, the garden is very beautiful, there is a shuttle to town and back a couple of times a day and free bikes to go anywhere, beach is 5 minutes away by bike. No reason not to like this place!

The Muca Experience”
We had a wonderful stay at the Muca Resort. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the views and the serene atmosphere. The Muca also provided free bicycle usage, which was great for exploring the surroundings and Hoi An's Old Town. Really, our sole complaint is the inconsistency of the hot water.

Best place for relaxation in Vietnam”
I literally cannot fault this place! The service is the best I've had in my three years of living in Vietnam. The place is beatifully designed and set in a quiet area of the riverside. The pool, the garden, the rooms, the spa, all beatifully decorated and laid out. We didn't try the restaurant, but heard positive things from other guests. The breakfast was nice, plenty of variety, although the complimentary water tasted a little strange. But this was a very minor thing!!! I loved that the hotel are environmentally conscious as they encourage guests to only clean down the room linen and towels when necessary to avoid wastage. The rooms were pretty big, and very comfortable, the beds were huge! They looked like two queen beds together. We had everything we needed. They supplied a free shuttle bus to the main attractions, the old town and the beaches, these were regular on time and comfortable. If you like quiet, relaxation, and still easy access to town life, this place is the best of both worlds. A hidden gem in the already beatiful town of Hoi An.

Great but not exceptional”
Overall I enjoyed my stay at Muca. The staff was very friendly, though this isn't different from the rest of my experience in Vietnam. I really liked the complementary use of a bike when staying at the resort as the hotel is right between the town and market area of Hoi An and the ocean with all of its wonderful beaches. While I really enjoyed my stay, I do have to say that I'm not sure that the price tag is quite worth it as the resort itself was pretty sparse in terms of amenities.
