Bed room,warn, comfortable, electric blanket, beautiful linen. Bikes under cover. Kitchen fully equipted, fridge with drinks, wine, beer, fruit juice to buy. Breakfast A1. Highly recommend having a dinner at night, 5* meal. Log burner very efficient. Interesting art and decor. Kevin and Ross the perfect hosts. Thanks.
I liked everything. The rooster woke up a bit early vut l went back to sleep. Name on sign at front gate (main road)a little difficult to see.

Beautiful heritage home and excellent meals available - great for those on the Otago Rail Trail.”

Beautifully decorated heritage home in lovely quiet location. We had the home to ourselves, which was a bonus. We had a beautiful home-cooked dinner and breakfast was included also. Bed was very comfortable.
Everything was very good. There is a separate outside bathroom which would be really useful if there are other guests staying as the toilet is in the bathroom.

Best relaxing two nights stay we have ever had, coupled with exceptional meals.”

Everything about our stay was fabulous. I felt instantly relaxed. I was a cold southern night outside but inside on arrival the fire was on and the place was cosy. There was plenty of dry wood for both fires and we had a wonderfully warm relaxing two nights. We ordered dinner for both nights and has two exceptional two course meals. Home grown produce interestingly and very well cooked and presented

Lovely Stopover on the Trail”

Very homely & clean. Lovely breakfast tray for the morning. Open Fire ready to light which we did & enjoyed.
We saw the sign from the Rail Trail but missed the entrance to go across the paddock, carried on into Lauder then along the main road.

Olde World Charm”

After a day on the trail, it was heavenly to come home to our own little cottage which is full of charm and had everything we needed. Beautiful grounds to relax in a true countryside setting. We were lucky to have it to ourselves but great for groups too.

Setting was beautiful, outside table and chairs looking out at the beautiful back garden. All reminded us of Tuscany. Lovely open fire, rustic and quaint house. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom
