It's a little far to go to the more crowded area by foot but it is convenient and inexpensive to take a taxi. Seafood is reasonable and nice. Go for tours along the main road and bargain, it is cheaper than those offered by the hotel. The beach is not extremely appealing, not crystal clear and clean. Still, it is a nice view from my resort.
Too big for its own good. ”
The resort is sprawling, and the grounds look nice, but it hides the fact that the hotel is poorly run, Yes, it has a huge pool, but it is dirty (water was warm and blurred - quite a cesspool really, so we did not enjoy it at all). Yes it has a tennis court and what not but the rooms where dirty, and overall pretty rundown. The staff was great, very kind and helpful and I believe doing their best to keep the hotel running,. The location is nice, with a beach access and sittings. Of course the see in Mui Ne is not very clean. but at least they clean their beachfront everyday so it helps. The overall feel for this hotel is that its a place too big for its own good, While it would cater to large company outings and such pretty nicely, I cannot recommande for a family or couple, which is too bad because the hotel fall short of expectation, though it would not take much to improve the score a lot.
Dear Paul, Thank you for taking your valuable time to write about us and sharing your opinion. We really appreciate the opportunity to have you as our guest though your overall feeling with our resort was not as expected. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused to you. We also appreciate your opinion and we have been working hard to upgrade our facilities, and to continue to provide positive guest experience. Once again thank you for your kind words regarding our staff team's attitude. We look forward to serving you on your next stay in Mui Ne. Best regards, Sales & Front Office Manager
Great stuff and awesome place to relax”
The hotel is great with beautiful garden and nice breakfast, instant help once needed. most importantly, the ladies at the reception desk are super friendly and helpful, we feel warmly welcomed. Duyen the manager is really helpful and smiley. I'd recommend the resort to my friends, and will definitely come back and stay if ever come to mui ne again.
not too bad”
You can find this resort very easily. The garden was well organized enough to make people relax. Breakfast was also good. (taste good, many kind of foods..) But, in the swimming pool, there were a lot of bug.. so i couldn't enjoy swimming and the pool were deeper than i thought. And one more, there was one thing made me disappointed. The attitude of receptionest not kind & almost staffs in there looked like sad of boring.
Great resort - an oasis within a local area of Vietnam. We preferred the pool to the beach. The beach was covered in rubbish on either side of the resort but was clean in front of the resort. There was a place to hire windsurfers 100 meters along the beach from the resort. The sun was very fierce and there were a lot of sunburnt people. The sand got very hot. Even the sand on the volleyball court was too hot. We were the only non-Russians at the resort. The spa facilities were very nice but not very private. It was a bonus to have a volleyball court and tennis courts. Too hot to play during the day though. To get to the local shops and restaurants we had to take a taxi as the resort is at the far end of the busy strip. We found a great Indian restaurant (Ganesh) and a Mexican restaurant. It's very cheap to eat in Vietnam.
This hotel had a gorgeous outdoor layout with beautiful green grass, plants, flowers, trees, and a nice pool. The breakfast buffet was good but the service in general was poor. The rooms were big but fairly average. Overall, a decent stay.
Great location but badly maintained rooms”
resort was located on a nice quiet stretch of beach and it was a relatively low density resort. unfortunately rooms were a disappointment - spacious but poorly equipped. hair dryer and in-room phone did not work. water pressure for the shower was rather low too. mattress was extremely worn and too soft and pillows were too high at the end of the trip i had a sore neck and back.
Nice settings, rooms a bit worn out”
i stayed here for 3 nights. the hotel is okay, but a bit worn-out for a four-star hotel. the room was clean and it is nice to be close to the sea. breakfast buffet was very good. the pool is very nice also. the water and the beach (further away from the hotel) are not too clean, so i did not go swimming, but it was nice to walk in the beach. muine tourist center as well as phan tiet town are easily reached by local buses. there are restaurants in walking distance from the hotel - the quality of the food varies, though.
Everything was great except the non existent playground. The pool, the beach, food and garden were great!
Great resort for location and cost”
Great stay, located directly near ocean. Beautiful swimming pool and landscape. Resort met all my expectation. Breakfast was superb and food choice plentiful.
More for families I think. Beach is very polluted although staff did a fantastic job of trying to keep it clean. Rooms need a bit of maintenance but were good size (We had beach front villa). Mui Ne itself didn't offer us much so I guess we were a bit biased against. Staff varied but were eager to please. just not well enough trained to western expectations (not sure that they cared since most residents were Vietnamese)
Most worse resort in Mui Ne”
We booked a room for 3nights at a seaview villa, it was the first time ever we went to Mui Ne that we actually want to go home directly. We arrived on feb 15th, Nobody was welcoming and caring about our luguages. When went into our beach front sea villa, looks the room has not been used for years. The smelt, musquitos everywhere.. We called and asked the reception to change room as its not good to stay with 2 little kids (2yrs&5yrs), answer was that resort is fully booked. Very strange if we see villas around us remains empty for 4days. The service team came after 2 hours with every 10min call to reception.. They used a spray to kill musquitos (after the 4th day you still can smell the spray). The small pool next to the villa was very dirty.. Not possible to swim (dead insects, very dirty) so it was very dissapointed for our kids as it was this pool we paid extra to give our kids more private fun. The towels were dirty and unbelievable bad smell (you often will get this at 1star hotels in Vietnam) We asked every day to clean the pool but nothing was happened so we went to the big pool every time. My kids include myself are having infections still now as the pool using very high chemicals which lead to infections. (Report issued by FV int hospital) In overall the resort is very old, the rooms are old and service is just a 2star worth. Staff&managers are doing nothing to solve issues. The sea is dirty vs with other resorts they use nets to get clean beach. Facility wise, there is nothing to do, the location is far and not surprised why the resort is not full booked and restaurant is empty. We go average 2x per month to Mui Ne, we stay at most of 4,5* resorts but we can ensure that it was our first but also last time we stay at this resort. The room we paid was not cheap vs other beach front villas but it was absolutely not aline with what we should get of we're paying for. We would not recommend this resort to anybody.
Very rude receptionists ”
This was the absolute worst resort that I have ever been to. The reason why is that the receptionists here were very rude. Firstly, they do not greet you. They look at you with a stone-cold face and speak to you rudely. Not even a "hello" or "welcome". I travelled to Mui Ne with 2 friends. The room was booked for 2 of us, while my 3rd friend already had a room at a nearby hotel. When saw 3 of us, she immediately assumed we were trying to cheat the hotel saying, "The room is only for 2". I explained to her that he was only there to wait for us for 30 min to get changed. "No, he must wait in lobby". I kept trying to explain that he would only be in the room for 30 minutes, but aggressively denied us telling us it was resort policy. I looked up the policy and there was nothing about this. She then had to audacity to say, "THIS IS A RESORT". I was totally shocked. I told her I would write a review about this and she said, "Up to you. Do what you want". Shortly after, we stopped by my friends hotel which was 1 minute walk away and 1/3rd the price. The receptionist was extremely polite and told us all 3 of us were free to hang out in the room together even though the room was booked for 1.. Yes, 1/3rd the price and 100x better service and experience. I would NEVER recommend Muine de Century to anyone. This was the absolute worst resort I have ever been to. STAY AWAY
Beautiful property, not best location”
Not the best location in mui ne and they did not have many of the facilities listed on the agoda specs for the property. The pool and the grounds are lovely though, it was good value for what you get.
The stay at the resort was relaxing. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and windsurfing. Our room was comfortable and large. The main downfall is the 5 hour ride from the airport in HMC to the resort. The driver who drove us honked his horn the whole time while passing trucks and scooters while large trucks were coming right at us. It was the scariest ride of my life. Luckily we could relax once we got there.
Not that great”
We were very unhappy with the service staff as the staff understanding of English is poor. The breakfast was very bad, most of the food is very cold including coffee. Our room was not make up when we instructed them to. Very poor & low service standard.
The hotel was a long way from the main area of Mui Ne. We were unable to get a cappucino or a tea at 9pm in the 2 hotel restaurants and bars. The staff were not friendly and in general no-one seemed happy to be there, I suspect this comes down from management. The hotel was clean and tidy, it was right on the beach and breakfast was satisfactory but in general I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone going to Mui Ne.
Good hotel, comforable room”
The hotel is a big resort with garden, swimming pool and beach. It is convenient for swimming. You can sun-bath and swim at its own nice beach. The room is clean, the bath room is ok. The hotel is about 4-5 km far from the central, you can call a taxi or hide a motobike/bicycle to go around.
Nice breakfast...good swimming pool”
Overall its valued for money, 600m from fairy stream, motorcycles can be rent at a rate of 6USD per day, and petrol be bought at 120 000 dong per full tank (4litres). Sand Dunes, and fairy stream is a must go, not forgetting the central.. Dragon beach club is a must go if u enjoyed drink in front of the sea like i do.
