Wonderful time in Taman Negara”
We have just returned from a wonderful 3 days 2 night stay at Mutiara Taman Negara. With all the activities that can be done there, it was hardly enough time to do all. Our trip from KL was ok. We took our own sweet time but kept in mind to reach the dock at least by 5pm. Which we did, with 5 minutes to spare. The boat ride to the resort was the beginning of our adventure, even if it was only a 5 minute ride. Upon reaching the dock on the resort side, we had our bags taken up to the reception area via pulley. Wonderful idea as we didn't have to lug our bags up the stairs. The check in process was smooth and while my husband did that, I headed to the activities counter just beside it. Ended up booking the Rapid Shooting + Orang Asli Village tour but wasn't able to book anything else as they were fully booked. We were however advised to do the canopy walkway by ourselves without the tour, which we did the very next morning. The Rapid Shooting and Orang Asli Village tour was also such a delight. Our guide, En Kamil, did an amazing job, explaining everything about the Batek people and how they lived. The Batek people were also very accommodating and friendly. We were happy to buy some souvenirs from their little hut. The Rapid Shooting portion of the tour had us all drenched and laughing all the way. So much fun! It's too bad we didn't have time to visit the waterfalls or do the night walk tour but hopefully we can come again. The resort itself is very well maintained. The chalets are nice and clean and the bathrooms surprisingly modern. The shower water pressure could be better, though. Toiletries are not provided, except for the shower foam so bring your own shampoo, toothbrush, etc. The landscaping is beautifully done and we spent quite some time exploring the flora around the chalets. Beware of the monkeys though, they can be a bit mischievous. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was super efficient with our requests for extra soap and wat

Great experience ”
Staff were mostly friendly especially the residence manager who gave good tips which made our experience a well worth one. Food (both bfast and dinner) were good and delicious too. The black sambal was exceptional. Chalet was clean and comfortable. Managed to see barking deer at the tahan hide twice and wild fowl which was a great experience. Overall, we loves it and would be back again for the other 2 hides in Taman negara.

A Well Maintain Rain Forest Resort Must Visit”
Environment well maintain after built for many year, Staff are thumb up , helpful and good manners answer all the question clearly. Food was sufficient variety and nice . Perfect for family with young kids love the natural rainforest and adventures. Insect cycle are still well maintain , we stall 3day 2night , no mosquito was found. Can find negative comments. Improve Wi-Fi should be one of the option if doest not affect the naturals. Thanks for well keep environment for future generation who will appreciate the natural. In jungle trekking, I hear mill saw sounds still cutting the tree for log purpose, I was a bit worry rainforest will gone soon.

Fantastic!!!!!!”
Fantastic resort on the edge of the National Forest. Chalets fine for couples or a large group. While the furniture is not the highest end, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and nice. But, our room could have used a lot more light. The staff were very friendly and knew our names and room number very quickly. The tours were amazing. The boat rides were particularly fun and we highly recommend taking all the excursions you have time for. The jungle trek and canopy walk tour is of a medium to difficult hike. Distance traveled is 7.5km and you climb to 350m so you should be in decent shape. Our guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. We purchased both the breakfast and dinner package and were very happy with both. Staying on the resort to eat was better than catching a water taxi to the small restaurants located on the other side of the river. Monkeys are everywhere and will steal your food if you leave your table or are not paying attention.

Best place to be close to nature.”
If you are looking for a 5 star resort, this is not for you. If you are looking for an adorable jungle chalet where monkeys run across your balcony, you can hear wild pigs foraging and hornbills flying overhead and you can walk easily to the jungle, this is the place for you. We recommend getting up early and walking the short distance to the local hide and watching the sunrise while listening to the jungle wake up. Perfect. The airconditioned rooms were serviced daily, the staff were always lovely and went above and beyond a few times in our stay. The buffet wasn’t too bad, compared to the food in town it was actually quite good. I especially liked the chef making fresh omelettes in the morning.

5* Taman Negara”
Great experience being here for 3 days 2 night. We love spending every moment here, from bed to Bukit Terasek. Our trekking coach Pak Cu, such a knowledgeable man. Explained every single plant. Overall, we would return for our next round with kiddos.

Great resort for where it is”
We spent two nights here and were sad to leave. We had booked a family villa which gave us more space. It had everything we needed. It could have been cleaner but that was our only negative. We were regularly visited by wild boar and rhesus macaques in the tree outside our villa. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had booked the night walk. We saw scorpions, stick insects, a huge spider and two snakes and our guide was superb. It was a shame that they had so many groups going off at once as it was a bit chaotic and noisy so no chance of seeing any mammals but I still enjoyed it. Highly recommend the boat trip to Lok Bekoh. It was fantastic being taken down the river in a small open top four person boat. I asked our guide if I could see a kingfisher and he spotted one on the way back and made sure we got close to it. The walk to the waterfalls is not too long and well worth it as you can swim in beautiful clear water. Good resort and worth the money to experience being in the jungle.

Relaxing and Refreshing”
it's kind of relaxing yet nonstop sweating trip as we have joined the combo package to do hiking , jungle trekking and many more. So much fun and non stop explore something special. It's a great experience. Staff are friendly and helpful all the time, the brightness inside room need to be improved, I hardly see my things inside the room. Cleanliness is ok. The environment of the resort is really awesome and pretty, Monkeys are always at the path waiting for you. Pleasant Trip staying in the resort.

First night was great, silent, peace and relax.”
Don't choose adjoining room/chalet. It was nightmare at second night as the next door talk and laugh loudly at midnight, from 11pm to 230am.

Loved it!”
We loved this place. Our chalet was clean and had everything we needed. The tours organized by the resort were great and we also loved the restaurant although service was a little slow sometimes. This place would be even better if they add a pool to the premises.

Amazing customer service”
The staff at Mutiara Taman Negara offered great customer service and were attentive to all our needs during the stay. Some of the menu items in the restaurant were unfortunately unavailable (especially the juices and mocktails). Hopefully that can be corrected in the future. But overall, it was the best service I've received in a hotel of this price range in Msia. Highly recommend. Keep it up!

Incredible location with helpful park staff nearby and spacious rooms with nice A/C and facilities.”
I would recommend bringing your own first aid as the resort does not have much of a supply beyond a small container of bandages. Being out in the jungle, accidents and falls could happen and, surprisingly, the resort is not equipped to handle much beyond a paper cut. Post MCO, the staff in the restaurant seems overwhelmed with new protocols and managing guests. They are friendly and helpful, but be prepared to give them time and patience. I would recommend the local Malaysian dishes over the Western food.
