Great place but.....
I really love this place. I have many good times here. Its location is ideal for me. Two blocks away from Cash n Carry Makati. 40 peso per pound for rush service laundry down stairs across the street. Local Barber. And less than a block from the new Shakeys. 300 peso message service to the room. But the negative. The maintenance is still an issue. The aircon compressor was making sound the entire stay and the last night for some reason i counted 8 roaches and a spider. Ok it was strange but I will still stay again.

A good place for an overnight stay. Altho the place is hard to find. It took us more than half an hour to locate the place. It is a little bit far from the train station contrary to what I was expecting.

Maintaining Standards
I love staying at this place everyone I go to Manila. But through the years the wear and tear of constant business has be weighing on its quality. It's not bad enough for me to stop staying there but a simple checklist should be done. Lose tiles in bathroom, lack of cups, ref smelled slightly(baking soda), sink backed up, towel are not bright white anymore and no desk for my laptop. The best part is the staff from the front desk to room service. I will stay again and hope the maintain all the things I love and improve the wear and tear!

Bad wifi signal, no bath towels
I really don't know why other travelers rate this hotel so high. Or may be I am being discriminated? I checked on the net, and they said there is in-room wifi, of course bath towels and etc. However when I arrived, there is no towels and later on the receptionist gave me two white-turned-grey towels, without face towels, and that's all. When I had a look around the room I discovered there is the bed light, but no plug, and the warm water did not came out. Then they came and had a look, and after that they told me there is the warm water from one side only, and they could not let me change the room because no other was available. Then came the in-room wifi, I struggled with it every night and somehow it did not work before 10PM? at all, and only at midnight can I see the emails. When I came back home on the third day of my stay, I called them to give me the new towels, and they said they did not have any left, so please have a bath tomorrow morning. And about the wi-fi, they told me they were not able to repair, so in case I needed to send any documents or papers, come to the reception and stand there. And I have just stood there for 3 hours to finish my homework.

The second floor room is ugly and dirty
The location and seventh floor rooms are nice.
The staff is always busy. No matter what time I go to their hotel it seems that the only staff there has a lot to do and is busy to accommodate us. We are given second floor room which is ugly and dirty. They change the bed sheets but it looks dirty with all the dirt marks on the white sheets. There is no free breakfast and there are no restaurants open if we will leave very early in morning.

NO TOWELS!!!
The only good thing about this hotel is the location.
They weren't able to give me towels! My room is good for two so I should be given at least 2 towels but they don't have any left and guess what they made me use the bed sheets as a towel! Apart from this, they did not provide me a microwave eventhough it is in their Agoda profile. Also, the remote control for the TV is not working because it doesn't have batteries and they did not do anything about it. They just show me how to use the menu buttons in the TV! Even after I made several complaints about these issues, the staff weren't able to do anything. I will not go back to this hotel ever again.
