    Camotes Island Mountain Top”

Travel time from the port's location is a bit longer. We've always rent motorcycle to go around the island and it's great way to explore the island on your way to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the other island. The staff were great as well even at night they'd always have someone to accommodate your needs. Downside is the island always have power outages and the hotel doesn't have a generator.

    Great Choice in Camotes Island”

We had the best stay for two weeks at My Little Island Hotel. Staff were very nice and helpful, the whole family felt safe. The food is affordable and great. Just make requests if you wants some adjustments with your food. If you want private and quiet times this is a perfect place. Waking up with refreshing ocean view is amazing. If you want to go to the beaches which is like few minutes away but other beaches are few kilometers away. The place is kid friendly and they have huge pool. Definitely would come back here in the future. And you can an internet access as well which keeps you updated and connected.

    Falling apart”

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. Im sad to say that it keeps getting a little worse each time, but this last time i stay was probably my final time. First of all the best part about this hotel is the swimming pool. Unfortunately they are not keeping the pool up. The sides of the pool are peeling away and attracting mold, the pool was so dirty i would not go in for a swim. I asked them to clean it and they said it was clean. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, mold doesn't happen over night. The next thing was the aircon is not strong enough for the larger rooms, (my mistake) It was only a few more dollars for the bigger room so i thought i would go for it, should have stayed with the standard room for better view and better aircon. The aircon is same size for all rooms, so bigger the room the more difficult it is to keep cool. The Hotel is just falling apart at all aspects. . Also if you do not have a motor bike you are pretty much stuck, unless you want to pay for the hotel to tour you around, a bit expensive. They have wifi but it didn't work even once. Ok now for some positive points. The view from this Hotel is amazing, sunsets are just awesome. If they clean the pool and do some repair the pool is also great. the food is a bit expensive because you are so far from everything but it was all very delicious. The staff is very good and very nice, the hotel falling apart is not at all their fault. So if you like to have some peace and quiet then this hotel is a Little Gem. Every time i have stayed their was only 1 other couple there, most the time it was empty and we had it to ourselves.

A restoring place, far away from everything”

You need a scooter, the hotel is in Esperanza (the fishing village next to Poro, N point of Poro island), far away from restaurants, white beaches Etc. Both Agoda (!!!) and the hotel's website take you to the wrong place. Ask locals. It takes 15/20 minutes by scooter to Poro port. The hotel is a lovely discovery. We were thinking of sending the Australian owner (Philippino direction tho) a buying request. Potentially it's a golden hen: stunning view, great building with facilities needing a major touch-up , big-sized swimming pool, majestic entrance, a Yamaha piano in the hall, big - and I mean it - rooms and bathrooms who are as old as the structure unfortunately but that didn't put us off. It's Camotes - tourists and venues-free island - therefore this place is a hidden gem w/ a great vibe. But don't eat there. There's a small market in Esp. town and a couple of eateries or go to San Franc town. Food is frozen & expensive. Don't let the managmnt charge the taxes. Enjoy this gem

This hotel has had it's day. Needs serious investment. If you are stuck use it. Get clear directions as it is very hard to find after dark.”

Booked this as everything else was booked. Arrived by with mortorcycle at 9pm. Hard to get directions and not many people to ask after 9pm. Arrived at hotel around 2am after driving around for hours. GPS takes you on wild goose chase. Clean hotel. Big rooms. Not busy at all. Breakfast reasonable. No facilities really. Hotel needs investment.

Cleanliness, friendly staffs, comfortable bed and room

I love the hotel, its very clean, nice ambiance and the staff are super friendly. They also gove you tips on where to eat good food with cheap prices. Cons would be the hotel is a bit far from the beach.

    Staff location serenity”

    Peaceful and restorative

Just what we needed a good place to rest and recharge with cheap island tours if desired. The staff were very helpful and had good local knowledge. The garden and surrounding woodland and farmland also offered up around 30 bird species to observe and listen to in the early morning.

Beautiful Lobby and pool but old rooms.”

Beautiful location, the pool, and service.

I really like this hotel its very beautiful but old the rooms need some improvements. The pool is very nice and the lobby is very beautiful with a great view of the ocean given how high the hotel is built on a hill. The ocean is far so if you want to go to the ocean is a bit of a trip. If you are looking for privacy this hotel will be just right. This was my third stay here and I was lucky to see more than two guest.

Very beautiful view but rooms need some remodeling”

Awesome view, great pool, and lobby was amazing and comfortable.

Was only there one night but the room was nice with a great view of the Camotes! We had a great view from our balcony and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is on a high hill so from the lobby, which is very beautiful, you had a great view of the ocean from a distance. The room was overall nice but the tub and shower was not in the greatest condition. The Camotes is not a major tourist attraction so I don't think they get enough guests to make major renovations especially given the size of the hotel. Also it is quite far from the beach but that didn't concern us given we were not going to the beach. They rented us a bike for 500PHP for a daw where we could have rented on for 200PHP elsewhere.
