Excellent hotel. Location is ideal.”
Everything I hoped for in any hotel is all here. They have a lift, a balcony in the room, small fridge, really comfortable bed, ideal location, very close to airport bus stops, Praca do Comercio, and hop on hop off bus stops
Rooms are tiny!! But the location is perfect!”
The rooms are really small - just enough space to walk around the bed and that's it pretty much it. I feel that the photos on Agoda are a bit misleading as it doesn't show the rooms properly or only has a full view of the larger more expensive room types rather than the standard rooms. Having said that, the rooms are clean, comfortable with good design and pleasant interiors. There is a little bit of storage space - enough for a long weekend but not really more than that. The best thing about this hotel is the location which is perfect. Very short walking distance to a main metro station (Baixa Chiado), the Praça do Comércio and many tram lines. There is a bakery right next door and shops nearby. The breakfast was a good spread of options, and although it gets very busy, there was somehow always a room for everyone to have a table. I would advise to go before 8am or after 9am if possible for a more relaxed meal but it's not a big deal if you're there in the peak hour.
Nice place to stay in Lisbon.”
This hotel is very clean and quite close to the metro station. The breakfast is great and plentiful. There is no kettle in the room, but you can get hot water from the cafe at the hotel. And you can leave your luggage there after you check out without any charge. The only disadvantage for me is there is no bathtub in the bathroom, but it is still very worthy of staying at this hotel.
Great location, good breakfast, nice toiletries”
I love the Rituals scent shampoo & shower gel. This hotel is good value for me, I just feel the shower space is a bit too small but was able to manage anyway. Breakfast is 10 EUR good warm food. All in all would stay here again if I visit Lisbon.
Excellent location, clean room & fantastic front desk staff. ”
It's conveniently located in the heart of all activities. Front desk staff, Pedro, Miguel & Marina, were ever so helpful. Pedro gave a very good recommendation of restaurant nearby (Sacramento) which is simply gorgeous (both ambience & food quality). Room was reasonably-sized with balcony (which fulfilled my request). Everything was so perfect for our 3-night stay. Will definitely come back to this hotel on our next visit. Couple from Malaysia. 12 - 15 Oct 2018
MyStory Lisbon ”
A very smart hotel centrally located in central Lisbon. Staff very friendly and go out of way to please guest request. Our room on 4th floor was very well maintained and decorated, well lit by floor to ceiling window, only down point is the room size, slightly small but cosy. Breakfast was additional cost for our stay but 10 euros per person is nothing to disputed, very good selection of pastries, cheese and meats as well as fruit, yoghurt, cereals as well as scrambled eggs and bacon. Always met by smiles from all staff no matter time of day. Will definitely book again when we come back.
This hotel is in a perfect location. The rooms are handsomely decorated. The terrace is a great place to relax and people watch after a day exploring Lisbon. The staff are really friendly. The free glass of wine on arrival is a great touch. Our room was on a low floor and it was loud in the evening from street fun, so if I went back I would hope to stay on a quieter floor. Highly recommended.
Loved the location!”
The location is fantastic! Very near the square, shopping. Convenient to go to Alfama, and the BaixaChiado area. Airport bus stop is beside the Parco Comerco. The young lady who checked us in was very cheerful and friendly. Rooms were very small but still OK. and very clean. Breakfast was average. The hotel room rate was expensive for it's standard but it's the price you pay for location and convenience. Having explored Lisbon, realised the city is very small. . Will stay somewhere else if I want to save money and don't need be in the heart of the city.
The staff, the rooms- everything was great (except the HVAC!)”
The only reason that this hotel didn't get a perfect rating was that the heating/cooling system in the room kept defaulting to off and we continually had to call the front desk to have it reset and turned on. They did it quickly and they were really nice about it but I can't give the hotel a perfect score. I believe that they had the company who installed it in for maintenance so hopefully our next day will be 100 percent awesome! The location can't be beat!
unique service of some staffs”
When I found desk is small, the front desk staffs tried to find another room to have bigger space for desk for me. Also, when I asked for lighter space with slippers, they solved it very quickly. It was touching for me and provided me very pleasant atmosphere.
Modern hotel on 'old' place”
I was on biztrip and I just extend my day to this hotel. It just a walking distance from a hotel from the next block. My Story Hotel is cleaner, more modern and good location. I'm feeling great to find this hotel.
Wonderful hotel, great location, helpful staff”
We spent one week here. The staff were extemely helpful with sightseeing, advising on restaurants etc. The location was perfect and the breakfast superb (Better than the 5 star hotel we stayed in subsequently). Highly recommended
Excellent location and staff
Location is good. However the bathroom should be repaired as door touches the bathroom floor and its very difficult to open and close the door. Water in sink not flowing. Certain reception staffs not too helpful and dont smile.
Had a great stay. Price and location were awesome. They must have looked at my birthday on my passport when I checked in and realized I would be there for my birthday-they surprised me with a bottle of champagne and some snacks. Made my day and so unexpected. Would definitely stay here again.
I've been in Ouro last summer with my wife. It was our holidays, 11 nights. At first glance everything perfect, nice restaurant, very helpful staff. When we get into the room we realised that the balcony had wall in front of it and lots of air-conditions fans which generate constant noise. We lasted 1 day and ask for another room at the opposite side of the building, with windows to the streets. Rest of our stay was good. Street noise is a little bit better than fan noise. Breakfast menu was boring, every day was the same things. Coffee from the "guest" machine was very bad, so we asked staff for a coffee from the bar machine. Staff don't understood that guest machine gives awful coffee. Hotel is in a perfect location. Top notch! If you want to stay in the citycenter this hotel should be your choice!
A real gem in Lisbon!”
My late night arrival was handled very smoothly. Love my cozy room - and particularly liked the touch of Portuguese poetry on my bathroom wall! Staff was friendly and so accommodating - one of the friendliest during my time in Portugal, I almost wished I didn't have to move on to my next hotel. Breakfast was simple and good, except it got a a bit crowded during peak hours and was quite difficult to move through the buffet line. My stay was good overall but I did wish the hotel had ironing facilities in the room. It was going to cost me 6 euros to get my shirt pressed through laundry services, which made me decide a few wrinkles never killed anyone. Location? Excellent.
Great Location ”
Minuscule rooms, breakfast buffet was adequate. Requested room 309 based on reviews but was occupied and front desk gave us 109 which had a small balcony. We very much enjoyed being able to stand out and observe the street activities including the 2018 Lisboa Marathon.
Wonderful location for down town Lisbon
