"Chose on the basis of hot tub, sauna, bar and inside pool and saw none of these. There was no cable and cd's had to be gotten from the lobby but only one movie at a time was allowed. Chose a side view room to see part of the ocean and city but could see neither because they were blocked by trees. "

"Great hotel away from crowded Myrtle beach strip, great pools. Main jacuzzi was over crowded. Two small jacuzzis could only fit 4 people which stayed full. So I missed my favorite part. Elevators were horribly slow for this size hotel. Hot with no AC, Aweful aweful aweful... If your in a rush, hang it up! Check out was omg THE WORST, with everyone trying to get down the elevators!! Tiki bar food was HORRIBLE!!! We got what appeared to be some type of huge hotdog and a hambuger. Hotdog was nasty, and grill guy burnt the hotdog bun! Hambuger was thick hard and tasted processed. Skip the food and go for bar drink instead. Restaurant in hotel was over priced didnt eat there. Over all we enjoyed our stay and will bring the kids back!! "

"There were a few bugs at night. But it's the South, at the beach. The pools were beautiful, the view amazing, the staff so friendly and professional, the Yella Umbrella poolside bar OUTSTANDING (yells out to To. Ronnie and Kayla) - such kind women. Rose Room breakfast across the street, an included part of the stay, excellent. I was at the resort 5 or 6 days, and it was completely peaceful. My only complaint? My broken heart at an enormous loss of my family (not from there!); whom I complain about is MYSELF for burdening the staff with MY tears. And they listened. And they showed great compassion. A WONDERFUL place with wonderful people. 15 Stars."

"The beach access was very convenient. One can walk from hotel to the beach and enjoy a nice stroll any time. Our room was fine, though we did have to call the front desk for the blow dryer and extra shampoo--there was only one bottle for a 4-person room. There wasn't a hotel directory, and we couldn't find an ice machine on our floor. When we asked a cleaning staff, she didn't know either. We booked the hotel b/c it boasted of beach access and several swimming pools, lazy river, pirate ship, water slides, etc. Perhaps it was because of the season (early October), the water slides were closed, which was disappointing to our child. Other than that, everything else was fine."
