A Wonderful Place”
We just spent three nights at the Na Nirand Romantic Boutique Resort. If it had not been for pre-arranged airline tickets we would have stayed for two ore nights. The staff at the hotel are both extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the selection varies each day. We had one dinner and enjoyed it also. The hotel is vary quiet and is situated alongside the Ping River an easy walking distance to the Night Markets and Night Bazaar. When we return to Chiang Mai, we will definitely return to Na Nirand! There are only 8 parking spaces at the hotel but that was not an issue for us since we had hired a car and driver. Having spent time in Chiang Mai traffic I can not imagine why you would want to drive anyway.
Loved every minute!”
From the moment we pulled up to Na Nirand we were blown away. The staff met us at our taxi and ushered us into the gorgeous lobby where we were met with refreshing drinks and towels. Even though we were hours early for check-in, they quickly got a room ready for us while we relaxed at the beautiful pool. Everyone there was so kind, showing us maps of where to go, helping with every need, and making our stay something truly memorable and enjoyable. From owner to reception, the entire crew was hard working, warm, and genuine. The facilities themselves made us feel like we were living in a dream. The photos are beautiful, but nothing can do justice to how relaxing and luxurious it feels to be there. I can whole-heartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful oasis in Chiang Mai. Right next to the Night Bazaar and close to the East Gate of the city, we found the location to be perfect as well. Apparently they just opened in October, so we felt lucky to find it, and so glad that we booked it! Thank you Na Nirand, for making our stay so special. A special thanks to our friend Phusit there, who helped us with so much and made us feel so welcome.
Exceptional”
It's really a wonderful experience in Na Nirand. We got free upgrade so as to be able to enjoy private pool. My boy was really excited about that. For that, my boy kept telling us he's missing the hotel until we got home. So we definitely would consider Na Nirand if we go to Chiang Mai next time. From the 1st day we checked in hotel to the last dat everything is excellent. If I have to name some cons I think the location is not as good as other hotels. As it's not in the old town. But who cares. Transportation is so cheap in Chiang Mai and tuk tuk is everywhere. Location is really not an issue even though you have children travelling together.
Romantic, peaceful resort.”
We had an excellent stay at Na Nirand. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The resort is next to the peaceful river. It is walking distance (15 min) to night market. The breakfast was very lovely each morning to start our day. I'd highly recommend this resort for those looking for a romantic getaway in Chiang Mai.
Wonderful hotel”
We traveled through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam on our honeymoon and Na Nirand was our favorite hotel. While it is much higher than other hotels you might find in Chiang Mai, it is well worth it, and still a great deal for the quality of the facilities, rooms and service you get. The grounds are beautiful and a 5 minute walk from the busy chiang man night market. This is a really great place to stay.
Great getaway location”
We live in Chiang Mai and were looking for a nice place to getaway for a couple days. What a great find we had with the Na Nirand. Staff are friendly and able to communicate well with us as English speakers. The location and beauty of the hotel is what really stood out to us. Within easy walking distance to the Night Bazaar and other areas of interest. Great place to watch sunrises and sunsets while the Ping River flows gently by. This is a new facility and it really shows. A lot of attention to detail. The only issue we had was the unavoidable bumping of our knees on the oddly designed tables in the restaurant. Overall a wonderful place to stay.
30 th Anniversary in Chiang-Mai ”
We booked our stay at The Na Nirand by reading the reviews posted on Agoda. The previous guests were spot on. The hotel was fabulous. The staff were amazing and felt like good friends after the second day. We ended up extending our stay because we couldn’t image going to another hotel. The on-site restaurant was very good and we enjoyed several treatments at the spa. Our next stop was Singapore and the Mandarin Oriental. Although the Mandarin was very nice, we found ourselves wishing we had stayed more nights at the Na Nirand.
Absolutely beautiful premises with even better service!”
We absolutely loved our stay at the Na-Nirand. The room and grounds were so beautiful and every single staff member was so attentive and nice. They even prepared a boxed breakfast for us when they found out we were leaving very early for a day tour! Na-Nirand pays attention to each and every detail, down to the scents used around the resort which I am still thinking about over a week later. Would definitely stay here again!
Everything about this boutique hotel is charming, beautiful, extremely clean, delicious food”
Na Nirand is a perfect romantic getaway it’s close and walking distance to all of the nightlife and daytime activities in the main city but once you walk into Na Nirand, you feel like you’re in a totally different place with beauty and quiet and delicious food and wonderful pool excellent service I am so glad we stayed at nine around
Beautiful Place Excellent Service”
Na Nirand is a beautiful resort on the Mee Ping River a walking distance away from the Night Bazaar and many restaurants downtown. The service was excellent, the grounds and rooms are beautiful. We have stayed all over Thailand and would highly recommend this resort. They also had a complimentary High Tea for us since we stayed in the corner suite. In addition there was a complimentary bottle of wine and a selection of fruit. Exceptional.
Very good”
Husband and I came to Chiang Mai on vacation for 3 days and we picked Na Nirand as our stay while there. Although the staff and hotel is beautiful, it is definitely not a place to go to relax. There is a temple right next door to the resort and at 4am every morning they bang on a bell for 10 mins and soon after the roosters go off from 4am until 6am. The walls are very thin and can hear everything your neighbors next to you and underneath you are talking about. Also, beware not to take the "complimentary" water bottles out of the room or else you will get charged. Upon checking out, we were charged 100bahts for appararently missing a bottle. So they check for everywhere while your not in your room. We took an umbrella out once and when returning back to the hotel, the bell boy ran after us asking where the other umbrella is at. Another time we took a bottle of water with us and the cover that they provide and when we returned the front lady asked us where their cover was. Just annoying
Paradise!”
We stayed at Na Nirand for a week and loved every second of it! The staff is SO friendly and so helpful (they had an adaptor when ours failed, an iron when we needed one, towels to borrow for our Elephant Sanctuary day..). The grounds are so tranquil and quiet and beautiful - right on the Ping River. The pool is amazing and in the shade of a huge 100+ year old tree! The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely balcony. And the hotel is in a great location! It's an easy walk to the Anusarn Night Bazaar (which we went to every evening) and near plenty of restaurants/massages, yet it also felt tucked away and private. We can't wait to return!
High quality oasis in Chiang Mai!”
We loved our stay at Na Nirand .. tranquil, high quality accommodation and superb location on the river .. but as always it’s the staff who make the real difference. Annie and her colleagues made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to look after our every need. They decorated our upgraded room and left a cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary .. with hardly any notice at all. We walked into town throughout our stay so again location was superb for a CM visit. Dining facilities are also lovely with a terrace overlooking the river and always super attentive staff. This little gem comes highly recommended from us!
Wonderful Week in Chiang Mai”
We had a great time at this hotel. The staff were amazing and very helpful with whatever we needed. The rooms were very nice, and the pictures really show what the resort looks like. They have a nice pool and a good morning buffet as well. The hotel is off somewhat main road, but you cannot see if from the street which was tricky to explain to people but made it quite. Also we did not realize that the hotel is not very close to the city center- Chiang Mai was bigger than we expected. I would really try and map out where you will be going to make sure you can be within distance of it. I would go again for the right price. We got a pretty good discount on the normal rate.
A romantic hideaway!”
This is a small boutique resort set on the side of the Ping river which provides a very calm and scenic outlook to the hotel. It is well situated in that it is walking distance (or short tuk tuk ride) to the night market and many good eating places. The hotel is set around a swimming pool, which although not huge is long enough and deep enough for some decent lap swimming, but not so suitable for children. The rooms are very in keeping with a traditional Thai style with wooden furniture and floors and contain most of the appointments you would expect in a 5-star accommodation. The strengths of the resort are that it never seems busy in spite of having many guests, it is very quiet and relaxing. I really appreciated the calm atmosphere, sitting on the terrace overlooking the river enjoying breakfast was one of the best parts of the day. There is one restaurant on the property were guests take breakfast, which was included in my package. The breakfast buffet is not the best I have had, b
Fantastic gem”
We spent the first night of our honeymoon at Na Nirand, and can't recommend it highly enough. Staff were welcoming and saw to our every need, rooms were spacious and impeccably prepared, and the breakfast was wonderful in terms of the wide selection of high quality of food and lovely setting by the water.
When Boutique hotel really means boutique ”
We've been to Chiang Mai several times now, but this time, with the parents to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. We chose this hotel because we wanted something beautiful, brand new and intimate. We were happy with our choice. First, Annee from the Reception was extremely helpful and accommodating. We were given complimentary mocktails and high tea sandwiches and pastries by the river, while we waited shortly for our room. I think this was part of our package. Our Corner room was a bit small for the 3 of us, however, the total space was ample. The jacuzzi tub was great to use in the evening with rose petals and bathsalt, the toiletrries-- HARNN (local skincare premium brand) was well selected and luxurious. We had complimentary mini bar, which was a real treat for my parents that love to munch. Breakfast, although wasn't grande compared to other big hotels, were good. Great coffee & tea selection...and fresh asian noodle & egg station. Just eating by the river takes you away and makes you appreciate nature. It's so serene and nostalgic. Overall, the grounds are gorgeous and a lot of attention was given to every detail. The (semi salt water?) pool was a nice refreshing 25m, however, closed early at 7pm? Would've loved to use it after a long day. It would also be nice to have a spa treatment or Yoga in the morning by the tree area...by that gorgeous venue. Location was convenient and peaceful. Near the Night Market and next door to the Anantara, formerly The Chedi. We also met the Owner as we checked out. Very humble and friendly. Well done and keep it up! :)
Great location. Romantic does not mean Children”
Great hotel with beautiful outlook. I really wish that guests would understand that some travellers want to stay somewhere without children. We paid over the standard rate for this property because it was a romantic boutique hotel. We did not expect children. Whilst there were mostly couples, there were also families too. The hotel staff advised that some guests only book for adults and then turn up with children. Apart from that, staff location, and facilities were great. Highly recommend.
Excellent experience!”
The place is nice and beautiful. It is relaxing to have breakfast every morning by the river and listen to the birdsong. The buffet is also tasty. The staffs are so nice and helpful. They told us where we can go sightseeing in the town and where the good restaurants are. They would chat with you when they meet you in the resort. Every day they would prepare a gift like snacks or souvenir after you come back to the room. Though it is a bit far from the old town. It is near the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar in which it would open every night. Even you can walk to Warorot market a bit northern to the bazaar.
Amazing ”
The Na Narand was incredible! The room was beautiful and the amenities were top notch. ANNIE at the front desk was very helpful and attended to our every need. The restaurant served delicious food with an included breakfast buffet of various Asian and western delights. The Spa was a beautiful experience and the receptionist was so welcoming. The doorman and valets were so personable and attentive. We can't wait to return. Just the best place in Chang Mai! Go there and you will be amazed.
