Life Changing Place To Visit”
Nagasaki Washington Hotel is strategically located in the heart of Nagasaki city. It is just a few steps from the tram station (Tsukimachi). Either by foot or tram, major tourist spots are easy to explore starting from the Dejima, Nagasaki Port and Megane Bridge. A 1-day pass for unlimited use of trams will make you possible to explore the Nagasaki Peace Park, Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museam, Urakami Cathedaral, Oura Church, Clover garden, and Mt. Inasa. The cruise trip to Hashima Island also known as Gunkanjima, an abandoned island, is one of my most treasured and memorable experience I can count to myself as traveler.
Enjoyed our stay at Nagasaki Washington Hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but clean. Parking is 1000yen in another carpark across the hotel. Hotel is right beside chinatown.
Excellent Location friendly staff Comfy bed”
3 minutes walking distance from shinchi chinatown station by Nagasaki electric tramway. The earliest Electric tramway start from 7am Helpful staff efficiency check in and comfortable bed. And bus terminal is also 5 minutes away by foot if you need early public transportation before 7am. Their earliest schedule to JR Nagasaki station in 0620am and 0626am arrive cost 160y. A good choice for you to catch early Jr train.
It was very nice!”
The staff at the hotel was very kind. Even if I couldn't speak Japanese well, he tried to explain well and was willing to help me. The room was small, but it was very clean and cozy. If I go to Nagasaki again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again! :)
Friendly staff, good location & value for money😊”
Use line 1(Blue color) from Nagasaki (27) to Shinchi Chinatown (31). Its next to China town. The staff welcome us with smile when we arrived there in the morning to store our luggage. When i ask whether the coffee is free nearby the receptionist counter, he (a senior staff in night shift) give me the cup even its only for the certain membership. 👍👍👍
Location is Good”
Location is good, near with the train station. The room is smaller a bit if compare with sasebo washington hotel.
value for money, bad communication”
we were looking for bike rental as we would like explore nagasaki around the hotel. we saw a couple of bikes at the entrance of hotel somehow the receptionist told us we can't rent it. they don't allow you to check in even 5 minutes earlier than the stated check in time. overall its still a good place for you to have a good rest, just rest and nothing more.
A bit far from Nagasaki station but close to China Town. There's a bus terminal near the hotel. Hotel staffs are helpful. Room facilities are fine but it looks a bit old.
The hotel is excellent, will stay here again if back to Nagasaki
Nice, But Very Small Room”
First of all, Nagasaki itself is a very compact city, therefore it's relatively easy to get around. The hotel is right next to Shinchi Chinatown and within a short walking distance to the streetcar stop and Dejima. Room is small, you simply have to make do. No complain from us as it is good enough.
The hotel is clean and full with necessary facilities. The room is a bit small for me. The staff possesses communicable english. We forgot the umbrella at receptions but they didn't see it. The hotel is very convenient which is 1-2 minutes walk from the tram. There is a 7-11 nearby and the hotel is next to China Town which is easy to walk to the shopping arcade.
Had a room with 2 x king singles for me , wife an 9 year old daughter. We fitted fine and rate was good. We were able to leave our bags till check in time. The guy who served us gave us a vouchers that had discounts to local attractions. We used a couple which was great. He did this off his own bat. Would have gotten the Ropeway Car Ride for half price if it had been running that day. Would have no issue staying again.
Price is comparatively low in that area but it looked old fm outside to inside!”
I stayed in twin beds room and jz managed to open 2 luggage in the room. The room looked old and the staff there were vy nice and helpful. I would prefer to stay in other hotel next time in Nagasaki.
Very good location, very nice staff, in other cities for this price I could only book guesthouses with small rooms and bunk beds and shared bathrooms, but here we had everything we needed for our room and we even got presents. Thank you so much!!
Great location right next to Chinatown and about A 1 minute walk from the street car stop. The property is easy to get too. Room was dated but clean and very reasonably priced. Would recommend.
Value for money. Excellent location. Great if have microwave. ”
Just next to chinatown. Walking distance to shopping street. Tram Station just few steps away. Value for money. Great if have free parking and microwave. Parking at the building opposite the hotel cost 1000 yen per night. Some parking behind the hotel cost 300yen per night 21:00-08:00.
Great Location and Staff but Very Small Room”
Pros: - You can leave your luggage if you arrived early - Just a minute walk away from Shinchi Chinatown Tram Station - Lots of restaurants/convenience store nearby - Great Staff! I forgot one of my gadgets during checkout but I was still able to get it. (I wished they have the initiative to inform people regarding lost items though, I was already in Fukuoka when I remembered I lost something. Still, Kudos to the staff for being honest) - Many amenities, they even have a smart bed where you can control the room lights, set an alarm, etc Cons: - Room is so small for a double room. No space for luggage - Internet is very slow
Clean hotel with friendly staff”
Pros: - near Chinatown and Family Mart - reception has limited english but friendly and always smiles - if you park at their partner parking spaces, they have discounts - they also provide discounted tickets to sightseeing locations, like 30-50% off - clean rooms despite it being a smoking room (as they run out of non-smoking one) - you can avail their buffet breakfast for about $12 Cons: - none
Good location but small room”
GOOD POINTS: Just 2-mins walk to the tram station. It was right next to Chinatown. Dejima is a few minutes walk. There are 2 convenience stores near it. Their breakfast buffet was great! BAD POINTS: For the price, the room was small. The bathroom was small too and it was old so it didn't look that clean.
Good location & friendly staff”
The hotel near the china town, is a very good location, clean, friendly staff and nice breakfast, really value for money.
