Good location ”

Exit No.9 Sakae Station have elevator. Easy take sub way to every where. Good location for shopping, eating, sightseeing. I will stay at this hotel again. (Nagoya Kokusai Hotel = International Nagoya)

Accessible and Comfortable”

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Had sufficient space as compared to the usually small rooms of Japanese hotels. Internet connection was fast and good too. Excelsior cafe was just below and very convenient for caffeine fix.

Great location, Good value for money!”

Centrally located in shopping and dining areas ('Sakae'). Easy to commute to anywhere via subway (two stops to Nagoya Central Station). Walk-able to Nagoya TV Tower and OASIS 21. The room is small but cleaned and comfy. Staff is good in English and quite attentive. Breakfast is just so-so. No WIFI internet in room, only LAN. (WIFI only in the lobby ).

Slightly Battered Luxury”

I stayed here for one night as a sudden necessity. Although it is a fine hotel with excellent service, I managed to get a special offer price. My only caveat is that the rooms and the fittingd, etc., are obviously rather old and a little worn. I was nonetheless very comfortable, and found the room-service convenient. Certainly, excellent value for what I paid.

Great location, small size but OK for single trave”

Very close to subway exit 8 and easy assess to many resturants and shopping malls. Room is small with most things you need. Only bad thing is the room telephone is very old fashion and could not use the numbers as phone instruction purpose. Luckily they charged very reasonable for international calls, so that I didn't need to use my home phone call.

Warm & quiet hotel”

Very quiet like the Japanese style as ever with the keen from the staff, the price is suitable, I can walk in short distance to get the view from hotel The breakfast is delicious The decoration is locally style, very warmest feeling during staying I were be there only 1 night for business trip, if I having any chance, I will come back for vacation

Great Service”

The Meitetsu line from Centrair will take you to Nagoya and Kanayama train station. The hotel is located only 2 to 3 stations away from Nagoya Station and Kanayama Station, hence it is faster and much cheaper to take the subway than to take a taxi from either of the station to the hotel. Both Nagoya and Kanayama are main stations that can take you to different parts of Japan, so it is very convenient. In terms of food, the cafe offers good pastery at the lobby. Or just a stone throw away is Tully's Coffe, located at exit 8 of Sakae station, which you can get something to bite.

Friendly Staff”

After the trip from Takayama, we still chose to stay in this hotel for one simple reason. It is its great location and the staff who speak wonderful English, unlike what I encountered in other hotels where communication could be a pain at times. It is only 10 minutes by subway to Nagoya Station and Kanayama station where all other main trains run through. In terms of food, you can get them just a stone through away from the entrance of the hotel, 24 hours Matsuya curry rice.

Great Kokusai”

It is well located in the downtown of Nagoya City, just a few minutes away from Sakae subway station exit 8. The entire shopping aread is under your feet, you can immerse in shopping the whole day. It is within walking distance, 10 min, to Oasis 21, a nice building. The staff are very friendly and they all speak very good English, there will be no communication difficulty at all. If you wish to make day trips away from Nagoya, the tourist information desk is there to offer advice. The rooms have no view but they are clean and comfortable. There is no much of a variety in the choice of TV channels but it's not a concern to me. Will stay there again the next time.

good location, big room, fair price”

Location is excellent, near to downtown, shopping area. Bus stop to central airport is also close. Room is big enough and clean, although decorations are a bit old. 15 minutes’s walking to castle is acceptable.

Amazing service as a family travel. Acceptance and Service were very good. the hotel room is not enough compared with China Mainland. but already big compared with Japenese hotel.

Fair”

room is large in Japan, the carpet is dirty, suggest they should change it or have a deep clean. One surprise, we did not include breakfast in our room rate, when we arrived, hotel give us free breakfast. I'm not sure if that is because of Agoda or they upgraded us by mistake :P Breakfast have many choices, very good.

Good location but not good for facilities ”

This hotel has a good location to access many department store. But we drive our rental car. It had a charge for parking. We have a evening flight, we check out 11 am. But we want to park until 7 pm. We could accept an extra charge that happened. But hotel not allowed us to park a car. We have to move a car to others parking. It's better for this hotel if you come by train.

Not a very satisfying stay. ”

Not a very good experience stay in this hotel. Had a misunderstanding with the Agoda booking as we have to pay extra for our +1 guest that stays in a Double Room. Reception at front desk was not very welcoming when i checked in due to the amount of guest we booked via Agoda. Had a bad rashes from the bed bugs in less than 10minutes when i am sitting on the cushioned chair. But one thing for sure, location is very convenient in this hotel. Every taxi driver knows this hotel and also it is 200m walk to the nearest subway station.

Good Location Value for Money”

Stay was pleasant. Room was spacious, staff were very helpful. Location is very good. Only thing i did not like was thick curtain in room does not close fully so light from billboard outside is seen in the room.

Good location and accommodating staff”

Location - near Sakae station, airport limousine stop, Osu shopping district. Front desk staff was accommodating, managed to find English map of the area. For the price, my only complaint is the centralized air conditioning system. Coming back inside from a hot day's walk, I would have preferred the comfort of a refreshingly cold room, but no, the room was as warm or even warmer than the temperature outside.

Great access and affordable”

It was a good decision that we selected Nagoya Kokusai Hotel. Great access to Sakae Subway Station. Even some tourist attractions are nearby, just a few minutes away. The extra bed for the Triple Room is not that comfortable though, maybe they should consider replacing it to a more comfortable one. Staff are great, some know how to speak English but be prepared with more Japanese language conversation. The hotel seems to be in renovation, the first few floors seems to have been redone. the room that we were in are old but satisfactory.

Value for money!”

The breakfast of 400Yen is very reasonable and the coffee is good. Very easy to move around on foot as it is near Nagoya TV Tower, Oasis 21, Osu Kanon, Science Museum. Very convenient as it is less than 5 minutes walking distance to Sakae Subway or Sakae Metro stations.
