Great Hotel ”
It is a good value hotel located in Sakae station, a central location in Nagoya with lots of restaurants, malls, convenience stores and walking distance to subway, i.e exit 8 with sunshine sakae (ferris wheel) on top. Upon exit turn left, walk straight after 3-4 blocks turn left again until you see starbucks, which is located at the lobby of the hotel. Another option is exit 7. The hotel has a good wifi with comfortable rooms, i think bigger than the usual rooms in japan. Hotel staffs are also very helpful. I just noticed that smoking is allowed in the lobby, other than that, i dont have any problem. Also, from the station to the station is relatively wallking distance, once you get used to it, it is quite near and manageable.

Good location- major spots like Osu market, Sakae area and even Nagoya station area is walk distance. Clean- hotel itself is old but very clean. Facility- matress needs to be changed too old and lost its original shape. Not supporting anything.

Good Hotel. Clean and quiet ”
Rooms are good, cleaned and well maintained. Only problem was wifi. I was unable to connect because I did not understand the procedure. Since, I stayed there for just one day, I did not bother about it. But, if I had asked about it from the stuff, they would have helped me. Pleasant stay. I did not order food from the hotel. So really dont know how it like. Since my overall impression regarding the hotel is good I'm giving 4/5. But, if you are vising Nagoya to travel, I recommend you to try an outside restaurant rather than the hotel.

Great value for money”
I've stayed at a few hotels in the area and to be honest they're very similar, this is no different. Clean, English speaking staff, and a short walk from the subway and Sakae. No upper bed sheet (only a duvet/doona) in winter but not sure about in summer, didn't try asking for one though. Toilet is a bit on the small side, if you're a very large person it might be a problem to fit on it! Otherwise perfectly fine and pleasant stay, would happily stay there again, great value.

We've had a twin bed for the three of us, one of them being a child of 10. So, the bed is a bit small for three, but at least this hotel is friendly with children, compared to those who are rigid with child policy. The bathroom is bigger compared to some hotels we stayed in Tokyo. So, overall quite an acceptable choice. The location is quite convenient, with restaurants and cosmetics stores right to the block. The city centre is within walking distances. There is a starbucks right downstairs. And we took a cab from hotel to Nagoya MTR station, the cab fee is pretty reasonable.

Good hotel in a good position”
The staff is fairly courteous. The room is clean although small (but this is to be expected for this price category in the center of a Japanese city). The position is very good, being the hotel located close to one exit of the Sakae underground mall. There is a Starbucks in the hotel lobby, and a place that serves the typical Nagoya "morning" breakfast right across the road.

Hotel is in between Hisayaoodori station and Sakae station, and there is Starbucks right next to hotel lobby and convenient store opposite to the hotel, which is quite convenient. Their single room is quite spacious for solo traveler.

Although it not very close (walking distance) to main Nagoya station, this hotel is in a better location and in a walking distance with the young children ( ours are 11 and 7yrs of age) to all the main attractions. One stop away from the main station by subway( Fushimi), but you need to know the closest exit (exit 4) otherwise you may end up walking a long distance.

The room is clean and big if compare with the others at Sakae. We book a double room and 2 single room. For the single room, we can open the big and small luggage in the same time. They only have heat but not air-conditioner in November. They told us to open the window but the window was broken. And the staff on the front desk is not very helpful.

Good for budgeted travelers”
Location is 5-10 minutes walk from metro station. Night life nearby so experienced drunk men walking around the street when you were walking back to hotel. Room size is fine but seen bunches of hair on the wall at the shower room upon entry! Others are fine. I didn't ask for room clean up but every day there's a bag of new towels and amenities at the door. No freezer in the fridge so do not put ice cream there!
