My favorite hotel out of my Nagoya trip! Location is perfect! Just 7 Mins walk from JR / Nagoya station and Meitetsu line + Meitetsu Bus station. Go to the hotel website for the access map. It is easier to navigate and avoid the stairs by exiting which ever station you came from first and walking above ground. Lobby is on the 18th floor therefore all the rooms have fantastic view. I stayed on the 24th floor and really enjoyed the view every day. 2 bottles of complimentary mineral water are provided. Room may be a tad small for 2 person but its already considered spacious for a Japanese hotel. It is new and service is great too. There are 2 convenience store across the road just 1 Min away from the hotel. There is a gender divided spa which allows you so soak yourself in after a long day of walking. :) Do note that you must be naked. Only cons i can think of is no early check in are allowed no matter what. You need to pay extra if you want to check in early. Strictly check in at 3.

The hotel is new and superbly clean. You can see in the hotel facilities such as beddings, pillows, room amenities that it was specially chosen to give their customer a royal treat. It's near nagoya station, after exit from the hotel entrance, turn left, then right just go straght for 10 minutes if your slow walker, go can see Nagoya station on your right, the main transportation hub going anywhere via train or bus.There's a 7-11 store in the lobby and just across the street another bigger 7-11 and Maxi Value a big 24 hr. supermarket. If you need coffee or tea you have to ask the hotel concierge at the 2nd floor. We really love their shower and bath liquid soap, the scent is very relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel you will never be disappointed.

Hotel is a short distance away from Nagoya Station. There is a Lawson and Tonkatsu restaurant next to the hotel. Tonkatsu was very delicious. It closes at 2am so it’s great if u are feeling peckish late at night. We stayed in a Twin Room and it was spacious enough for 2 adults and a toddler (we had our travel cot set up and it was still comfortable for us). Toilet and bathroom was very spacious and clean! Laundromat on the 14th floor was good too. Easy to use with clear instructions. Laundry detergent has been preloaded so guest do not have to bring their own. Washing machine comes w pre-cleaning function too. Having clean laundries felt really good! We pre-arranged to have our huge luggage deposited at the lobby while we traveled to Osaka for a couple of days before returning to Nagoya again. Hotel was able to store our luggage for us. Will definitely stay here again or other Meitetsu Hotels in future!

The hotel can be difficult to find on your first day there by train. Remember that the hotel has the name shinkansen in it for a reason. So walk towards signs that say shinkansen in Nagoya station and the minute you're out, you will see the hotel on your right. Just need to cross some roads before you are there. I think there is another hotel with a similar name. But that one is in front of the station as its name ekimae suggests. On the whole, the experience has been great although I was quite disappointed when I found out that they don't pack breakfast for you if you have an early flight. Considering their pride in service, I have been to hotels in other countries who do provide that. I hope they can consider that option in future. The large double room was of a good nice and was clean.

Clean hotel with affordable price, friendly, helpful and polite staff.. Rooms are small like the other Japanese hotels we’ve stayed in before, but was ok since we’re always out during the day. It’s about 10 minutes from Nagoya station, JR Takashimaya & Meitetsu Bus Center. About 2 minutes to Lucent Tower where there’s also an exit/entrance going to Nagoya subway station. Not much restaurants around the hotel itself, but has Ministop beside & Family Mart in front. You’ll find many restaurants in Nagoya station. The hotel offers free & unlimited drinks like coffee, tea, chocolate, & unlimited soup. Buffet breakfast was simple but satisfying and was the same spread everyday.

If you don't have a car and would like to travel by public transport within Nagoya, this hotel is the best choice! The hotel is located just above the most central station in Nagoya (i.e. Nagoya station!). From airport there is an airport express (called Mu sky) taking you directly to Nagoya station in 25-30min. No other way of transport, not even taxi, can beat this. Then the hotel is right above the station. The train station is the biggest I've ever seen. I've lived in London and HK before and never seen such scale. For surroundings you can just get the subway or taxi, for further you can take the JR train, for far like another city, you can take shinkansen which is also there. even you don't want to travel anywhere, the station itself is actually full of shops and restaurants. there are so many to choose from you don't even need to leave the building. and also if you go up the tower above the station, there are nicer restaurants and even fine dinnings. Just across the street, there is also an underground shopping street. Such well thought development and big scale infrastructure has made this place the most convenient place in the world. I still have not mentioned that the hotel itself is very nice. Staffs service is extremely good. if your room includes breakfast, you can actually choose to have it in your room too, which so many hotels no longer do anymore!

Thanks Agoda Points I have a very attractive price to stay here. I have to take the train in Nagoya station in the morning so the location suits me very well. Although no breakfast was included I was able to enjoy breakfast in the underground shopping mall, which is just right next to the hotel entrance. The room was a bit small but it's not the smallest I encountered in Japan. The FamilyMart on G/F was very convenient too.

The hotel provides free drinks from 5pm to 10pm. Juices, tea and iced and cold coffee and cocoa (van houten). The breakfast is good. Its the same daily. Japanese and western. Croissant is one of the best. freshly baked! Try the unagigohan- eel with rice. the crabmeat croquettes are also good. They only have orange, grapefruit and lychees for the fruit selection. Try the salad-potato salad is really good and tasty. The dressing- 3 types, japanese, chinese sesame dressing( very good) and cesars. Its quite a distance to magoya station about 10 mins. Yo can turn left at the first intersection if you are going to meitetsu station. its a shortcut unlike if you pass by nagoya station. There is a Lawson beside it and Matsuya restaurant. The room is small about 17 sqm but the bed is queen size. The bathroom is heated so its nice to use the toilet especially during winter. You wont get shocked:-) Bathroom has amenities like shampoo, conditioner, bath and body soap and hand and facial soap. They also cotton buds, toothbrushes and paste, shaver and cream, scrub and some stuff for women which they give you on your arrival. There is also drip coffee in the room as well as tea. Water is not included. Nice bathtub and they have trouser press, big tv and heater for the room and plasma air cleaner. Will definitely stay again if given the opportunity. God willing.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Aonami line can get to the hotel without getting out the skywalk, convenient. If you are familiar with the road, walk to Nagoya Station will only takes you like 10minutes around. It’s a new neighbor and close to Aichi University, a young and vivid area with new hub and restaurant. Hotel receptionists are all with good attitude, even helped me to book restaurant. Facilities are brand new since this is a newly opened hotel on December 2017. Willing to stay in this hotel again and hope the price rate will be the same. It’s very lucky and wise that we didn’t choose to stay at Mitsu Garden Hotel which we had a short stay in Kyoto in Mitsu, small and old facilities.

I had a great stay here for 2 nights, they don't have a restaurant, so the breakfast would be from 2 restaurants just underneath the hotel with one a Japanese style menu that's open 24 hours (Nakau) and the other one Western style menu that's open from 6:30 AM. The location is also close to Nagoya Station and Meitetsu Bus Station. Overall a great hotel, recommended if you want to stay in Nagoya...

My Review and over-all impression with the hotel: Pros - The details/photos in the website are highly accurate and guide infos are meticulously provided. - Very accessible, easy to find, just across the Nagoya Shinkansen Entrance Station.. - Hotel has elevator security entrance keycard. - Very near to Train and Bus Stations, restos, convenience stores, Bic Camera electronic shops, Seria, eateries, entertainment sites and drugstores. - Room has very fresh and clean amenities, thou small has ample space for luggages, convenient and comfortable. - Beds/pillows are immaculately soft and clean and bedroom is so relaxing and sleep-inducing. - good smell for a serene and restful mood. - I love the free breakfast in Yoshinoya. Cons - Couldn't complain for more.

Traveled to Nagoya with my parents who stayed in a similar room. Bed was large enough for two people. Lots of places to charge phones. Enough space to put suitcases without running into them. Have two different shuttle buses that run at different times to station in more and rest of the day. Across the street from 7-11, Starbucks and other restaurants. Short walk to Sasashima Raibu station on Aonami line, one stop from Nagoya Station. Even a taxi ride from either side of Nagoya Station is less than 10 minutes. Restaurants in the hotel are a little expensive for my taste. However hotel is on line to Legoland Japan so great for taking kids there.

Although it is located near Nagoya station, first-timers should cab taxi from station to hotel because the area around is absurdly vast. Make sure the driver can differentiate this hotel (Via Inn Ekimae Tsubakicho) from Via Inn Shinkansen, which is 2 minutes' walk away, because walking on street with luggage is no easy task. Get a map from hotel, follow the route to Nagoya station (turn left after exiting hotel), and you will find it surprisingly simple. Room is small, same as all rooms in Japan, but very tidy. No bottled water is provided, as tap water is potable. Good service from all staff.

I only stayed one night in Nagoya, but for the purposes of my sightseeing, this hotel was perfect. It was walking distance to and from Nagoya station and very close to restaurants and cafes. I walked to Nagoya Castle (about 30 minutes walk) but you could also catch the bus or subway. Very close to Midland Square - a new building in Nagoya with shops, restaurants and an observatory.

The location of this hotel is very near Nagoya Station. the central hub of Nagoya's transporation system. The rooms are quite small ( Japanese standard). Amenities complete. Buffet breakfast is a plus. Staff are very polite and helpful. Easy check in and check out. It's just so hard to move around because of room's limited space. Will book again and recommend to friends as well.

The hotel itself was fully staffed with very fluent English speakers which was a great help as we had a little drama (of our own making) during our stay at the hotel. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is very close to Nagoya Station, and subway stations making it easy to get around. The hotel had it's own restaurant as well as many around it that were very convenient. The only thing is a lot of Taxi drivers didn't know about this hotel, i would say make sure you have the address in Japanese with you when you're planning on using a taxi. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Tastefully decorated Japanese style guesthouse that offered a comfortable and relaxing stay. The public Baths are especially worthy of mention as they were definitely a treat after a long day of hiking. For a solo traveller, I slept in a room of four, in futons. A little too close for comfort with strangers, but otherwise acceptable after some getting used to. Room was clean and comfortable, with television, refrigerator, closet and hangers and other amenities.. Individually, we were provided towels, and Japanese bath robes. Quite a walking distance from Nagoya station; about 20-25 minute at a leisure pace through all main roads hence pretty safe for night arrivals. Along the way, you will find no dearth of eateries, such as ramen, curry, beef bowls (yoshinoya), sushi shops, family mart, and a few Chinese restaurants. Will most likely stay here again if I return to Nagoya.

It's a really short walk from the station in a quiet area, also close to convenience stores for late-night snacks etc. I only stayed for one night but it was very comfortable and the staff were friendly! I'm not sure how much English they speak as I stuck to Japanese, but they do provide an info sheet (checkout time etc) in English, which was very considerate. I was also able to check in a bit early, and that alone would make me recommend this hotel to anyone! This will surely be my go-to hotel in Nagoya.

We managed to get our request arranged before we arrived, i.e. a room on mid-floor and near to the lift lobby. The front desk staff is very polite, helpful and prompt in attending to our requests. However, the hotel is not located along the main street and it takes around 15 mins (provided you know the way) to walk from the hotel to the Meitetsu rail station to get to the airport. The Lawson convenience store offers a wide variety of sushi which provides good supper. True enough, there are many eateries in Nagoya station and along the street, that you can skip breakfast in the hotel to try different cuisine daily.

Hostel is clean, located around 10 mins by walk away from Nagoya Station. It is far from the prime area, but that's ok. Nagoya station is 10 mins walk away, and there's subway that connects you to everywhere. I chose this hostel mainly due to the fact that it is close to the station, which has direct connection to the airport. What I loved most about this hostel is the bar and the wait staff who were really friendly. I spent 2 nights in the bar eating and drinking with the staff. They speak excellent English too. Beds are bunk beds so might be a bit cramp if you have big suitcases. Toilet/Bathrooms are extremely clean. Side note; no towels are provided (you have to rent it for 100yen).

10mins from Nagoya Station Taiko Exit(West Exit) through 4 crossloads. Convenience stores are little far form hostel but some on station route. some (snack)bars in close. Little noisy cause close by main street. if you are sensitive, i'll not recommend. Hostel has 2nd floor and 3rd floor Without elevator, and all Smoking Area. Watch out. 3 toilets in whole Hostel, and 2 of them in 2nd floor are squat, the other in 3rd is not. no urinal. 1 laundry machine and 3 shower booths in 2nd floor - little cold on mid of april - but no laundry dryer. each floor has public refrigerator, microwave oven, electric kettle, mini oven, sink and some seats in public area. All rooms are for 1 person. Few outlet so power strip recommended. 2nd floor rooms are wide and have private refrigerator, TV but 3rd are not. no room cleanning during stay, and a shower towel and a tooth brush set are provided 1 by 1 night when you check-in check-out is 9am.

The hotel room as usual.. small but it was to be expected. This is Japan for goodness sake and for the price. It was great. Toilet is right out of the room and the shower room was at the basement of the hotel which may sound weird for some people but it was fine with me. There a TV in the room if want to watch but one bad thing was it was located pretty far away from the Nagoya Station (15 minutes walk). It took me sometime to find this place. Price was decent for a private room and so I got no complains about the hotel. Service wise. Accessibility and rules were explained when I checked in and luckily a paper memo was passed to me as I had some problems trying to catch what they were trying to explain to me. There were a couple of conbinis around the hotel if you need anything at night. Overall. It was a nice 2 nights stay in that hotel.

Though it's really far from the dream hotel room you are expecting for but boy I love this place... super convenient, you will never get hungry since restaurants and other convenient stores like 7eleven and ministop are just near the place. Near Nagoya Station which is super accessible when getting around Nagoya. Free toothbrush and you can always ask for a clean towel but you have to get it on your own at the reception area. Shower is at the basement but it's okay for me though because there is an elevator. and if you wanna use the toilet, there is one of each floors. They don't speak english well but you guys can still understand each other. Oh and the reception area is at the second floor so it's a bit difficult if you carry a large size of luggage. the room space is small but once you get settled in to your room, you are all good... Excellent location, it's not hard to find. I will definitely book and stay at this hotel again when I visit Nagoya again. :)
