Our stay was good. Very clean hostel. Great Location. Directions on internet for the hostel are not good. Go to Sakae substation. Leave Exit 13 when you come outof the station up the stairs go straight ahead. Take the first turn left (Post office will be on your right) also in this building you can exchange money at Travele) Then take next right then left go straight and the hostel is right down the end of the road right hand side.Look for the blue sign

Good place for budget travellers ”
The hostel is located near the sakae station, which is one of the most popular places in Nagoya. There are many resturants next to the hostel so dining is not a problem. The hostel is not difficult to be located, just 10 mins walk away from the subway station. The hostel and its environment are clean. Clean sheets; clean bed. Toilets on every floor. Simple breakfast included. Friendly staff who speak English very well. Interestingly, there seems to be some long-stay local Japanese as I saw students studying at night in the common area. One thing you should know is that there are many night clubs around this hostel so you will hear people talking loudly on the streets at night. Overall it was a good stay and I recommend this place to budget travellers.

Nice hostel! They have nice friendly staff who are great for recommending places to see. They also have a huge map on the wall for all travellers to highlight cool restaurants and pubs for each other.. great idea:-) The rooms were nice and spacious, and the whole place has been recently refurbished. Good stay for our boozing weeekend as it's right in Sakae where all the action is!

Great experience”
This is my first time staying on a shared room occupying a bed space. It was great to meet new people in the place I stayed at. Everyone was warm and helpful. The staff gave necessary guidelines and assisted well during my booking. The breakfast included was good enough for the price. They provided free coffee and you can cook as well. I like how the I felt secured because with their safety locks on the main door, the room, and the locker provided. Moreover, nearby restaurants and convenience stores are available even at the late hours so you can enjoy a nice meal anytime you want. I would consider staying here again when travel back to Nagoya.

Out of expectation”
A very comfortable stay, the staff was helpful and eager to help. The hostel is clean and located at the heart of Nagoya, just a 7 mins walk to station and the main shopping district ( Sakae ) . Just to be aware of the safety at night nearby because there are quite a lot of pubs, yet it is a very minor problem if you stay alert or having companion. will definitely go back if visit the city again!

Great Value”
The hostel is still quite new, only about 6 months old according to the staff. As a result, most of the areas are quite clean. Rooms are very minimal and small as expected of a hostel, and showers and bathrooms are shared. Location was okay. About 15 mins walk from Sakae Station, but in a slightly dodgy area of Nagoya. The only issue I had was having to put on my own bedsheets and blanket covers. I felt this should be done by the hostel staff. Especially when the beds are arranged in a way that is very inconvenient to put the bedsheets properly. Overall good value for money if you are looking for budget with a good standard of cleanliness.

Went here to attend a concert in Nagoya. it was a last minute booking some of us weren't going to the con and thus want to rest at this hostel. but since the booking was under my name, we contacted them and they helped us. the location is kinda far from the station and kinda tricky to find but the hostel was very clean, even the shared bathrooms you can meet new people also there during breakfast. overall it was a nice experience ^^ planning to book this hotel soon

+ Great and helpful staff, comfy bed, in-room small locker, close to good food and konbini, clean as you need to leave your shoes downstairs and change to slippers. - There are a few bars nearby so at night people may not be comfortable with that. No elevators so not advisable to bring large and heavy luggages (also large luggages will fill up the room which might cause inconvenience to other travelers sharing the same room). Nearest exit from Sakae stn to the hostel has no elevators. Showers are only at 1F and 3F.

Overall: - I would stay here again. Pros: 1. Very close to food (Nagoya deep-fried chicken) and convenience store. 2. Reasonable walk (15-20 minutes) to Sakae station 3. Basic breakfast provided from 8-10am. Bread + jam + tea + coffee. 4. Power point at your bed for charging your devices. 5. Has information on the walls on "things to do" and pamplets on "things to eat". 6. Has hairdryer. Cons: 1. As with all shared-room hostel accommodation, expect snores and noise from other occupants. Bring your eye mask and ear plugs. 2. Only 1 toilet on 3rd floor - may need to wait sometimes.

The place is clean and their staff is very friendly. They have a common place where you can talk with other guests. Location is also good, just around 700m from the Sakae Station, McDonalds, Starbucks, Oasis21 Mall and Nagoya TV Tower.

Only booked one night but would stay again”
Only had one night in Nagoya and was a bit worried about the area of the hostel, lots of bars around. No need to worry at all. The place is great. Very clean, and breakfast was included and plentiful. Great spaces to be social if you want or the beds are big enough to chill out if you don't. Power points for each bed were very much appreciated. Staff were all really friendly 4 explained everything clearly, making you feel comfortable straight away.

Great staff, not so much other guests”
I had no trouble whatever finding the hostel from the map that they had available on the website. The staff was so kind and they were up early and stayed quite late in case we had any trouble. They gave me a map of the hostel and made sure I was comfortable with the place before they sent me on my way, and even told me of the group dinners they hold every Wedsneday when I asked about cheap meals! The rooms were very clean and very comfortable, and they had plenty of showers available for everyone (three on each floor of rooms and then an extra three on the first floor). My only problem I had with staying was with the other guests in my room -- I stayed in the mixed dorm and the man below me absolutely reeked of body odor and snored something awful. I couldn't sleep well because his stench was wafting up into my bunk. So I'd say for the price I got what I paid for, and if you're worried about something similar happening to you just spring for one of the private rooms they offer. Also, the location isn't terrible, but it is in the red light district, so I would take up the front counter on their offer of earplugs for sale, because it could get quite noisy outside.

Hostel location is not far from Sakae station. However, if you travel with big luggage may be cause a problem because it has not an elevator.

We had a lot of baggage and our rooms were fourth floor. Staffs helped us to carry bags to our rooms. We were very appreciated. This hostel is near an airport bus stop, it's very convenience to transfer from/to the Nagoya airport.

Far from Subway station”
It’s far from the station. The closest is Sakae station and it’s about 15-16 minutes walk. But for the price, it’s not bad. There are several bars and restaurants surrounding the area, as well as convenience stores like Lawson and Family Mart. It’s your typical hostel, staff are very friendly, the common area is cozy, the room is clean and functional. It only has a bed (which creaked so bad) and 2 chairs. No mirror or actual table, but once again, it could be worse. I will still recommend this because overall our experience was good. No issues at all and they kept our luggage even after check out. It’s a great value in my opinion!
