Eclectic accommodation, wonderful service”

Wonderful, accommodating staff, very helpful

we were the only guests there, and could see why: most travelers to hua hin go for the (not-so-great) beach, town, and shopping. naidee is quite far from the center of hua hin. still the air is fresh, grounds are beautifully landscaped, staff drove us to town for meetings (this was a work/pleasure trip for us). highly recommended for guests to patravadi's performances - particularly the fringe festival - or for experienced travelers who are looking for a unique place to stay at a reasonable price.

An unique experience”

It is totally worth to have a stay in Naidee.. The room is a bit dusty but it doesn't affect our stay.. maybe the management need to take note on this.. This location is a bit far from the town but it doesn't matter. It take about 140thb to ride on a grab from hua hin night market back to the hotel.

Unique ”

Cartoon-style accomodation, nice staff and decent breakfast to start the day.

Location is a bit south of the action of Hua Hin, but is quiet and unique. We enjoyed speaking with the founder, Phatravadi Mejudhon. She arranged for a taxi to take us into town for shopping and dinner. She also described her vision for the private university upon which grounds these cartoon clay huts are located. Only constructive criticism is to suggest that more be done to control insects which want to enter through the gap under the wooden doors into the huts. Our almost 3 yr old daughter loved this place, as did her mother and grandmother. Staff made a big effort to serve us breakfast. Thank you. Looks like a swimming pool is being constructed, which will add a nice feature.

Quiet place, dog friendly”

The resort is easy to find, reception speaks good English. This period of the year is holiday, so the fact this is in a school area is not an issue. Huts are convenient for sleeping, wifi was ok, that's it (no TV nor fridge, there was a plastic container with ice in the room though). We have a golden retriever and the place is great for dogs of any size. There are chicken (clean white chicken, not ugly dirty or sick as we can see some places) walking free so keep your dog on a leash. Breakfast is simple (toasts, some bakery, thai food, cereals...) Perfect place if all you want is a quiet place to go and rest for the night and move around Hua Hin. You'll need a transportation to go to the beach.

Really cute!”

Super cute, really fantastic clay huts! We had a non-noisy aircon, and a door to the bathroom (which I personally found a nuisance, the curtain alone would be better). These huts are charming! The pool was so clean and sparkling. Students were in session, but not down by the huts. They were rethatching the living room/kitchen nearby but started late in the day and it wasn’t at all a bother. I found the bed the comfiest we’ve stayed on! Firm but soft enough, cut molded to the bench shape. Staff were helpful in booking a taxi. Would be best to have your own transport, it’s kinda outta the way. The director is awesome, met her the last day. Really, they’re doing a cool thing here (the art school) and the huts are an extra - they’re there for parents and visitors to the school. The grounds are interesting to wander, the breakfast was good and it’s walking distance to Vana Nava Waterpark (our purpose). I really like this place, like walking through a claymation world! And yes, there’s some ants, but there’s a small cooler for your food and I haven’t been anywhere that’s there’s no bugs in Thailand! (Except our mothball covered place in Bangkok). It wasn’t an issue for us and we even had fruit with us. Really clean, nicely set-up. Would love to return and spend more days on this campus! The bathroom was the best- above the shower is only a screen (in the roof)! Makes me want to be there when it rains (I think they have covers for rainy season, I mean the light rains)

Cute resort”

Unique design and style

It was a nice resort, cutely designed. This resort is also a school and activity camp. The room is spacious with comfort beddings and wifi in room. No TV, no fridge, but you can get ice from the catering area 24 hr. However, the resort provides limited choices of breakfast, and there's no bathroom door but a curtain, so everyone needs to be aware when using bathroom. The overall stay was impressive, good for people who want good photos of cute huts and nice garden.

Lovely idea but can't really live up to it”

Unique place, huts a great idea.

The staff here were lovely, everyone welcomed us and couldnt do enough for us. it really is a unique place the school is quite amazing the children were very well mannered and not noisy so this was not a problem. as we were the only guests staying we were invited to dinner at the school canteen, the cook was very proud and even served us and she did a great job. same for breakfast, iwe couldn't have eaten another morsel. the huts are a fantastic idea and our hut was very big and clean, although there were alot of ants inside and the air conditioning was very loud. it is a 200 bhat tuk tuk ride out of town, which to us was goid as this school is in large leafy grounds and offers solitude and quiet however we feel that the price for one night is a lot for what we got. The shower hose was so badly broken that the water just came out of the sides of it meaning I had to forego a shower. There are no extras here it is very basic. Although there was a duvet on top of the plastic mattress and a fan on we still woke up really sweaty.. We found the free WIFI To be very fast and reliable all over the site.

Friendly and clean

this place is really nice! it's located in a big garden, very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. the hut are really cool, decorated in a style that makes you feel in a flintstones cartoon! i went there on a weekend with my wife and my dog (the hotel is pet friendly) and i had an awesome stay. the only fact i didn't like is that this hotel is not located right on the beach. i reckon is more comfortable to stay there with your own car.

Student accommodation only Not a Resort”

Comfortable bed

My girlfriend and I were having some quality time away and we was not expecting what we found at this “Resort” we found the staff very friendly and helpful having spoken to the owner who has perfect english and very helpful . The idea of this complex is to replicate mud hut dwellings of times past in Thailand, dome shaped units housing from 2 to 30 people with very artful shapes and designs and a straw thatched roof in a school campus setting that is ideal student accommodation. What we found did not relate to a Holiday Resort as advertised, we stayed in a one bedroom unit the first night and found the bed very comfortable but air condition system very noisy due to the reflected sound from the dome roof there is no mirror in the shower room and as we non Asians shave it’s a basic need, there is a very small mirror in the main bedroom, the shower head is navel high that enforces my claim as student accommodation. There is no refrigerator or tv in any unit. The ambiance may be compromised in this particular environment if a tv and fridge is included, but essential in my opinion. Do not bring food into the units as the ants will have it before you, as you are very close to nature here . The breakfast is very limited affair available are some noodle soup, cornflakes, bread, bananas tea and coffee. The free WiFi works in most units. On our 2nd night having made our disapproving comments we were offered a double bed unit again other than the extra space all the failings as before are the same and in this unit the WiFi signal was so weak it did not work,as a sport buff I headed off at 2am some 50Mts away for a signal for updates. If we were to go back again which we won’t we would bring our own shower cream, shampoo and fruit and breakfast in sealed boxed.

Dog friendly hotel”

Dog friendly, Good food, Nice design hotel

It's hard to find dog friendly hotel in Thailand, but this is the one. It was the second time I went here, I love this hotel because the unique design, silent, good food, and feel like I stayed at my relative's home. Another thing is don't forget to swim in the salt swimming pool. The only defect which I don't like is someone left their dog shit without clean it!

dog owner / invisible breakfast / swimming pool”

dog owner / private

We stayed here because the hotel allow dog. This is the only reason that we chose this hotel. Breakfast!!! Don't even ask about it. Nothing much for breakfast. Swimming pool is dirty. The design of the room is unique. No TV No Fridge. This is the place for "resting your body". This hotel is a part of the owner's school area. Can't imagine when there are students around. There is funny rule regarding swimming pool that "if you want to use swimming pool, please come for more that 3 people". That's wired? If i travel with my dog, i will for sure select this hotel. If i don't have a dog, this hotel is not on my list.
