Nice hotel with friendly staff”
We enjoyed our stay at Nam Long Hotel. The staffs were friendly. They always welcomed us with a smile. The location of the hotel is also good, just walking distance from several tourist spots. The hotel offers tours that are affordable. I can say that the hotel is a safe and comfortable place to stay in. Really worth the money that we spend. Will be coming back to this hotel if given a chance.

I have stayed at Nam Long many times. Nothing fancy; however great location within backpacker area. Seconds to the park for morning exercise, and Pretty much centered within backpacker area. Within an alley away from hustle and bustle. The staff ..reception and housekeepng ..are very nice, accommodating and fun.

A step up from its budget neighbors”
This is a smart little outfit in an alley right in the heart of the backpacker district. It's a step up both in price and quality from the dozen or so hostels and guesthouses around it (comparable to Giang Son GH). I had a single room on the 7th floor, which had a weak wifi connection (router is on the 6th), though there are free PCs in the lobby. Hot water, comfy queen bed, strong A/C, and a view were a plus, but no safe in the room and no complimentary water - which others in its price bracket include. Be aware that the breakfast is only served till 9:30am. One issue was the noise - on this particular weekend a festival in the nearby park (all hotels in the area were affected), but also from the cleaning staff. Got woken up at 7 am one day by their shouting and laughing.

neat room, friendly and helpful staff”
i booked for 2 nights yet ended up 4 nights. the rooms are neat but it seems like they don't put on new room amenities (shampoo, soap, etc.) for the next customer. and it's not a buffet breakfast. just eggs and bread that you order to the receptionist. despite those things, i enjoyed my stay in Nam Long. the staffs were so friendly and helpful. i get the same price for the last 2 nights eventho the price in Agoda itself has increase. even i got a bigger room. thank you Dung :):)

Great location- safe, clean & nice staff too!”
saigon can be overwhelming. lots of options on where to stay, but i found nam long to be both nice and affordable. the location can't be beat and there is access to every thing - food, tours, walks in the park, shopping, sites. not a super chic place and not a backpacker haut either.

I booked the Standard Double Room here listed as 18 square meters. They initially tried to give me a room that was only 10 square meters, but I got an upgrade to a larger room. It had no windows, but let some light in through some glass at the top of the wall. The desk was placed next to the bathroom, so I moved it to a better location. There is simple free breakfast and coffee included I stayed here for 3 days. They would not let me check out later than 12pm though. Located in a cozy alley with a bunch of inexpensive hotels. Burger King is a 1 minute walking distance.

Very good value for money”
Our stay in the hotel was very pleasant. The reception was accommodating even though we checked in late. One of the staff even waited for our arrival outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were big and spacious. Wifi was really fast. Overall, For its price, it's really a true value for money.

Exceptional”
Great hotel, good breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had bought a bottle of wine, not thinking of how id open it, and they found a corker for me to use! Let us keep our bags there for the day after we had checked out. Nice tucked in the alley away from the chaos of the main street. Could hear street noises until late but earplugs took care of that. Bed is a little springy but better than most. Would stay again

i stayed 1 night at thios hotel and the staff booked me bus tickets and a hotel in a different part of the country. after my trip i returned to this hotel for my last night and day and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Worth the price”
Not bad for the price that we paid. Staffs are accomodating and friendly. Tony exerted an effort to woke up early on our 2nd day just to cook us breakfast for us to not to be late on the bus to siem reap at 6:45. I definitely recommend this place if you travel on a budget and wants some privacy . Its in the center, 15-30 min walk to Notre Dame Church. Good Job Tony!

Good budget accommodation”
The best feature of this hotel is that it's conveniently located in the heart of Saigon's backpackers' area, along Pham Ngu Lao St, and is walking dist (<10 min) from a lot of bar and restaurant options. Taxis are also readily available along the street all day. Room is pretty clean and simply furnished; adequately equipped with decent wifi, cable tv, reliable hot water in the shower, and toiletries. Don't bother with the complimentary breakfast, though. You can get much better food at the nearby restaurants for less than 5 USD.

hotel was conveniently located along the busy pham ngu lao street. it's slightly hidden as the main entrance is about 10 metres from a small garage-like entrance. easy access to food and about fifteen minutes walk to ben than market. hotel staff were friendly, rooms were cleaned daily with easy access to wifi. nothing posh but good value for money.

Central location and quiet”
The staff here were semi-friendly but had little English. The location was good and the hotel was very quiet. The rooms were clean and tidy but unfortunately the room had no window and the bed was very hard. Breakfast was good. I probobly wouldn't stay at this hotel again but it may suit some.

We spent 7 days here, the place in a great location , right off buy vien / pham ngu lao street. the service was excellent, and we got some great advice and tour information off the lady managing this place (Hue). She really hepled us out a lot during our stay. The room was clean, had decent internet, luggage safe, shower hot etc..... no qualms from us at all. would highly recommend

Hard place to find”
hotel runs off a side alley & some may find it a bit of a seedy area, but we had no problems. vietnam is a fairly safe country overall. hotel is very central to everything but there are are more central hotels that are cheaper in de tham st that we changed over to after a few days. breakfast is very poor.
