Warm place near the central market”

This place is quite ok to live for the short trip at dalat city. You can reach the central market within 2' by bike or 5' on foot via the Light Park. The staff is friendly. They informed me about the map, place, and rental. How ever, they dint tell about the non-free breadfast. --- I really dont like the bath, we need to wait 2' before getting the hot water.

Friendly staff and clise to Lake and Markets”

hotel staff very friendly though only one could speak english. hotel reasonable for price but most rooms only have internal windows and those with balcony are actually a common balcony accessed from corridor (mainly by people smoking). so if looking for quiet stay probly best to take the internal windows. hotel was quiet and good for sleep

A good all around hotel”

when you come to da lat, what you would want to do is going around the town first and try some restaurants there, food in da lat are exotic and delicious. and you should then go to the temples and sightseeing, and that's gonna take lots of time. so a good hotel in da lat is somewhere you can can rest well and get to the city central quickly. this hotel is near xuan huong lake and 10-min walk to the market so it is peaceful and quiet yet very convenient for your trip.

Lovely Location with very warm & Friendly staff”

this was my first stay in a hotel booked online but i had a wonderful experience right from the booking on agoda to the hotel actual details on visit as per what it said. the hotel has a wonderful location ideal for a tourist visiting da lat and the staff has been courteous beyond expectations. very very warm and if i have to say in one line then "i felt like home" and returned with pleasant memories. would love to return back.

A very convenient spot”

We chose this hotel after reading a good review and because of its central location. However, although the staff were friendly and helpful they spoke no English. The standard of our room - we had upgraded to a de luxe- can only be described as poor: ill-fitting room door and ensuite door making them difficult to close; shower sliding door faultY; plumbing very noisy; no lift; no hot water on washbasin. Besides all this, on both nights we stayed there, our sleep was disturbed by considerable noise from other residents echoing through the central stairwell.

Cheap But In Most Centre of Town”

Staff really friendly, Room is not so bad compared to its price. Location is superb, a few walk to market.

Good hotel”

The hotel enjoys an unrivalled position for going to Xuan Huong lake or going shopping in the market. All staffs contribute to the guest's overall experience with the hotel and always fulfils the customers' requests quickly with a smile. But it's a little bit noise.

Dirty hotel in good location.”

nam nguyen hotel is a 5 minute walk from the town centre. the hotel provides large rooms but are unfortunately dirty with black mould covering the bathroom walls, which provides an unpleasant smell in the room. the staff were friendly but did not speak english.

Location”

We booked for two nights at Nam Nguyen and only ended up staying for one.Our first impression was dissapointing,the place was dirty soon as we looked at our room. The bathroom was moldy, the towels were old and smelly and the bed linen had a musty odour. Forget about a good night sleep on a comfy bed as the springs dig into you. The restaurant located on the ground floor was noisy late into the night and early in the morning with staff making a lot of noise. The reception staff were nice enough, but it was vacate most of the time. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. I would defiantly stay somewhere else, as we did after one night.

Good Location, close to market, staff are very friendly, even took us out for a small tour. Rooms are clean with enough amenities.

The room I stayed has a window without safeguards and insect screen. Doors are warped. Hot water is not hot! This hotel is far from decent standards. Few good things are its location (quiet, near downtown and near Xuan Huong Lake, and the manager is helpful).

Hotel was ok. You get what you pay. Close to centre. Would recommend to stay elsewhere if possible.

Great location and service with a smile”

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Allowed us to check in early and arranged for transport to the main bus station to Saigon. While waiting for friends, one of the staff started playing music from youtube to keep me entertained.

Stinks of mould”

Stayed here after our Easy Rider tour from Nha Trang. Pulled up and looked ok, glad for some relaxation after the tour. Got taken to the room and got hit with the overwhelming stink of mould. The hotel was packed on the first night and the open plan means any noise travels throughout the whole place. Had screaming kids and yelling, and got woken up at 6am by more yelling and a kid trying to open the door to the room. Second night wasn't as bad but still had to contend with the smell of mould every time we came back to the room. Would not go back.

The toilet is old and rusty shower door. Staff are friendly and helpful but only 1 of them is able to speak English.
