Unbeatable staff”
The staff here really bent over backwards to make be at home and help me with my needs during my stay. It's not the ritz, but it's clean and spacious, with natural light, and a friendly face in a foreign land can be the most important thing.

Amazing exxperience”
I stayed here on the new years eve, after coming from the 3 days trek from Kalaw to Inle. facilities provided according to the charges were fantastic. They also arranged New Years eve dinner party and by that we all the tourists meet there and spend some quality time that evening. Overall my experience with this hotel was very good.

Great guesthouse with friendly staff”
I stayed at this Guest House for a a couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Their greatest asset is the friendly staff at the reception. They are very knowledgeable about the town and can organize boot trips, massages, taxi's et cetera. The breakfast was not my favorite. You can order either eggs and white toast, eggs and friend rice or pancakes. It was a bit difficult to get the attention of the waitress at times. The furniture in the room was a bit outdated, but the room was quite large and the bathroom had both a shower and bath (and hot water). The wifi (only available in reception area) was not always working properly, but the staff at the reception desk is usually able to help with getting a connection via their personal networks so it worked out fine. I would definitely stay here again!

A Hotel with cozy environment.”
1.Friendly staff 2. Good service 3. Simple and nice breakfast.
I called to inform them that I will be arriving late that night and they said they will wait for me. When we arrived at 11.30pm, rooms keys were ready for us and we can go to the room immediately after a day long journey. The bath room is extremely huge, although everything seems old but overall is comfortable. We felt quite relax.

Best staff in Myanmar”
Staff, Staff, and staff
The staff at the hostel were unreal. Despite arriving 10 hours before check in we were quickly whisked off to our room. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. We were extremely well taken care of during our stay. Once we checked out we did a boat tour of Inle Lake before our bus. We had about ~5 hours before the bus when it ended. The staff (despite the fact that we had checked out) fed us and gave us tea. They called the bus multiple times to ensure or safe and on time pick-up. When the tuk tuk arrived they carried our bags to it, despite our pleas they would not let us carry them. Best staff in Myanmar, maybe SE Asia

Overpriced and dirty yet great location ”
Location, location, location
It was a big disappointment. I don't have high expectation for budget hotels but expected more based on the reviews. The location is great but the bathroom was dirty (it was scary to touch the bathroom curtains) and at the reception I was being charged 25$ for a guide that across the street was offered for 15$. Wifi worked only from 10:30pm and later according to one of the staff, but I tried and nothing. I think there must be better places to stay at that price...

Nie Hotel”
Location, clean room, friendly staff
Great location, walking distance from the bus stop which is next to the city entrance. Staff can speak English well, they are friendly and attentive. We stayed one night in the superior room and 1 night in the standard. Both rooms have big bathrooms and a balcony, but the superior one is bigger and has a fridge. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel but we didn't like being in Inle Lake. There is an entrance fee(we were not happy about this) to the city which is US$10 and it was collected while we were still on the bus. So, if you're planning to go to Inle Lake, make sure that you have cash with you. There really isn't much to see, we regret going there, we should've spent more time in Bagan.

Budget hotel, clean rooms but far from the jetty”
Clean room,
This hotel was acceptable but not exceptional. Having had great experiences in our previous lodgings, perhaps we were a bit jaded. The rooms have a balcony and chairs which, I imagine, would be nice to enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink on. Inside the room was chilly in the winter with the wood floors. The bathroom is a bit large so getting some extra heat from the steam of your shower just wasn’t going to happen. Also with all the lights on it is still dimly lit. The breakfast was simple. The tables are prepared with a Tang-like orange drink, jam and butter. You get three slices of toast and two eggs prepared in your preference. If you are planning to do a lot of activities from the jetty, this hotel is not ideal as it is located all the way across the town. That being said, it’s a small town and a very walkable distance. It is closely located to Gallery 19 and the Aung Puppet Show. Neither of which we were able to see due to timing.

Extra blankets, hot showers, and friendly staff
The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was somewhat limited, but good nonetheless. It was very cold at the time, but luckily the hotel staff provided myself and my friend with extra blankets. A hot shower helped as well.

Friendly staff and cosy room.”
Very good customer service
Pleasant stay despite it was a budget hotel. The room was big but old. However, we were impressed by the customer service they offered. Very attentive staff, not only the counter staff, even the driver and waiter were very nice. Jetty was within walking distance (about 10 mins from the hotel)and there were many restaurants along the way. Hotel can arrange for airport transfer and boat rides. Their pricing was reasonable because we did a comparison. Some renovation works were in progress and would be a better choice for stay with the new rooms.

convenience, helpful staff, nice rooms
Staff spoke english well and were helpful. Close to restaurants and lake. Rooms were lean and large. Needed an extra blanket though lucky we had our sleeping sheets otherwise we would have frozen. Beds were rock hard. Breakfast was decent and they catered early for morning travellers.

Reasonable Value”
Central, reasonable value, clean
We only stayed here as the last night at our preferred hotel, the Princess Garden was full. Check in was quick and the staff were attentive and friendly. Rooms are in semi detached, wooden bungalow style buildings that have seen better days. They are large with a small bathroom. As the woodwork is all dark, the rooms are also dark and the lighting was not good. Other than that they are comfortable and OK, but if you can book the Princess Garden. the rooms are nicer, it has a pool and the breakfast is the best that we have eaten in Myanmar (that's all relative).
