old problems - new bandages
Been staying at Narai since 1997 and have observed their difficulties in maintaining such a large hotel. Even with the renovations and the addition of their Triple Two, you cannot remove the stripe from the tiger. At the staff's request, I waited one hour in the lobby while they tried to prepare my already paid for room. Eventually, I called upon the day manager who promptly gave me a lesser quality room with no reduction in price or any other compensation. Being soaking wet from the monsoon rain, I was eager to rid my wet clothes for dry goods and therefore did not complain.

Convenient Location, period.
The location is convenient, as it is close to public transport. As for the rest, I was far from being convinced by this raging hotel, where it feels you're back in the 1990's and you're just a booking number at best. Front office staff are very dull and dont make you feel welcome at all. It took quite some time for the staff in charge that day to retrieve my Agoda booking in his system, he even dared and ask me to look it up on my phone, when I didn't even have wifi... he finally retrieved t after a few minutes. Now the room come with an old school key, and not an access card. Once inside the room, you can already tell it has seen better days: old furniture, bathroom with mould on the ceiling, window can be fully open and yet it is on the tenth floor... What really bugged me everyday was that smell of stale food when you enter the hotel lobby: so 1980's!!

The hotel looks nice from the outside , but old on the inside. Lots of notes in the room about the safety , they still use keys for the doors. Did not feel safe with that. The hotel needs a complete makeover. Will not stay there again
