Much more than expected”
Booked this hotel as a stop over on way home from Koh Phangan to make an early flight and got a lot more than expected. The hotel is situated away from the main town (Which has very little of interest anyway) in a peaceful riverside setting. Very modern and in good condition, the room was well appointed with a decent TV, kettle and mini fridge. Very big comfy bed, nice polished concrete bathroom. The hotel grounds are very nice, the pool lovely and right on the riverside. Didnt use it but the gym looked exceptionally well appointed and very modern. Didnt eat dinner in the hotel but walked for 15 minutes to find a local place. Breakfast was extra, but reasonably priced for a good sized meal. The airport was just 30 mins away, but that said it was Sunday so no traffic. Great value for money. A very nice little hotel that I would gladly return to.

Nice little gem in Suratthani”
It was a nice find for an overnight stay in Suratthani. The hotel doesn't have a kitchen, but that's not a problem since street food is abundant in Suratthani. You will need a car though, since the resort is located in an alley, away from the main road and city noise. The room is clean and comfortable, definitely worth the money. It also features a nice swimming, a gym and an open air lobby where you can hang out with friends.

a very pleasant riverside location”
a very attractive hotel in the suburbs of Suratthani. We had room VR102 (superior garden) on the ground floor overlooking the pool area, a large wood floored room with separate bathroom and acres of wardrobe space. The rooms on either side of us lacked the wardrobe space but had more space to put one’s luggage and had bedside tables, which ours did not. Breakfast was not included in the room price because they don’t provide breakfast and the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant at all. If you walk a couple of hundred metres down the road to the left of the hotel you’ll come to a 24/7 Family Mart and a number of small roadside cafes where I had pork noodle soup for dinner – 40baht. The hotel also has a large fitness gym, a sauna, a Jacuzzi and a very attractive pool. NB women need to wear bathing caps to go in the pool. From the Seatran terminal in town a tuk-tuk/songthaew cost us 150 baht (between 10-15 mins) and the ride to the airport next morning was 350 baht and took about 30 mins. We feel the resort lets itself down by not having any restaurant facilities.

Need transport, nice facilities, ”
When are travelers going to realize hotels like these in the provinces are set up for Thais. After reading the reviews on agoda I was sold on this hotel. Big carpark, nice rooms, overlooking river, friendly staff , not much English , breakfast cold fried eggs, instant coffee and 2 sausages, no bread, no fruit, This is Thai style... No English TV! Be happy reviewers from abroad. It's a Thai hotel....but I loved my stay there, The big comfortable bed, pool was clean, although they have children swim lessons for 2 hours every night between 4.30 -6.30 pm.who swim across the pool not long ways Well equipped gym over looking pool, if that's what you are after on your trip. Best part was it was quiet!

Good value for money”
Not having a good location though, this is a resort that is not within walking distance from city center. But the hotel staffs are nice, and they also offer transportation to go to city center.

Agoda bookers beware”
We booked a standard room at a good price but even though the resort had few guests we were given possibly the worst room next to the car park. They said we could upgrade if we paid more but again they would only give us the worst Deluxe room so it hardly seemed worth it. By booking through Agoda we felt like 2nd class citizens with such poor rooms made available to us. Another point is that this hotel is quite remote if you don't have your own transport. There is a shuttle buggy but I didn't once see it being used. As a result you have to pay for a tuk tuk every time you want to go out and considering this resort has no food available other than Mama noodle cups, you will need to go out often. The receptionist offered to rent her motorbike at 500 Baht per day, double the standard price anywhere else in Thailand. The hotel is nice, the rooms are good and the pool and gym are really excellent but the remoteness, lack of even a basic menu and there being only Thai language tv channels really took the shine off the place. It has a hip boutique hotel design and vibe but it doesn't quite live up to it on a service level. Also be aware that after about 5pm the pool gets full of kids who don't stay at the resort. It looks like nearby Thai residents come in to use the pool when they want. It can get noisy as a result.

A good hotel a bit ff the beaten track need a car ”
The hotel is good it only has a very simple menu which is a shame as you really have to eat out .You need a car and you need to know your way about to find anything. The swimming pool, gym, and room we stayed in all good the free wi fi worked well. The hotel runs a small kindergarten on the premises which includes swimming lessons in the evenings which is fine if you don't mind a few extra bodies in the pool . I would defiantly stay there again as the price is right for the accommodation I also live in Thailand and know Surat Thani well which helps.

Would not stay here again, in the too hard basket ”
We had an ok time here once we got over the shock of no restaurants, the staff were nice, the rooms were nice as it is a new hotel. But the location was a challenge to get to, to find a taxi in the town of surat thani took over an hour to get a reasonable price to get to this hotel. There is NO restaurant at this hotel and there is no other restaurants nearby either. Lucky we found a 7 11 down the road and we had 2 minute noodles for dinner as the room had a micowave. There is toast in the morning for breakfast and thai soup near reception. This hotel is more catered to Thai travellers and this hotel is not a place you want to stay even if it is just for o'n airport connection. Not worth the dissapointment. The taxi you can organize from reception but again the pricing is over the top just to get to the airport. The only thing we enjoy really was the swimming pool. Which was lots of fun. If you don't mind these things and you are prepaired to pay more on Taxis and walk to 7 11 for food then your stay has the potential be enjoyable. If we had known these things before hand we would have looked for somewhere else to stay.

Children friendly”
It's a nice hotel with a good pool, gym and a small play park for children. Without your own transportation, it's very much out of the way of pretty much everything. Modern and efficient rooms, the resort seems to be fairly new.

Pleasant stay”
It may not be the best hotel if you’re concern about internet connection and telephone services. To be honest, I love the hotel set up and the cozy environment but once we got into our room, the room ambiance was pretty scary. Nevertheless the hotel staff was on their toe for every request you made and their services was acceptable for a budget hotel.

Great for hotel if in transit through Surat Thani.”
There is a need for a restaurant at this hotel as there is nothing close by, and to complete the decor in the rooms. As of now, they are just bare concrete walls and are very dark. The pool was so murky you couldn't see beyond the 2nd step and a 'garden view' room looked out at a row of plants and flowers that surrounded the parking lot. However it was in a secluded, quiet area with a nice river view half way between Don Sak pier and the Surat Thani airport, but out of the noisy, busy city centre. The plus side is that the staff were very friendly and the fitness centre was one of the nicest hotel gyms we've come across and it had a great shower and A/C. It was good value for the money.

So much potential”
Great rooms, huge comfy bed, great pool and nice looking hotel tucked away from the town. As others have said, this hotel is very hard to find so make sure you take a little map/directions and Thai (the hotel didn't even have the english name out the front so we didn't even see it when we got there). Being in the middle of nowhere a restaurant would be a great addition to this hotel but the town/shopping mall was a short tuk-tuk away which reception kindly organised. We were unfortunate that the pool was out of service the day we arrived but got to use it the 2nd day all to ourselves. Be careful organising travel from reception we were sold a transfer to Koh Phangan which was supposed to be taxi to pier then boat and take about 3 hours- but in fact it was; Taxi to town, tuk tuk to bus station, bus to pier, then boat to kp which took probably 6 hours.

Comfortable stay”
The pros of the location are: The outdoor activities for the kids. That being the pool area, which is a very large pool, and is a depth suited well for all ages of children. There's a sauna, and jacuzzi as well, so the adults can relax during their stay here. Internet was very good, with a recorded speed of 30mb download, and 15mb upload, which is very good for a hotel, and the wifi was reliable as well. The cons are: the facility is needing a lot of attention to repairs within the guests room. Shower fixtures need to be repaired, toilet seats needing to be tightened down, sink faucet needs to be looked after. Remote for A/C unit is difficult to operate, guests need to stand up and be close to the unit for the remote to work, also the A/C needs to be cleaned, the filters are dirty. There's a hot water pot in the rooms, but no coffee is supplied; this is a first for any rooms I've stayed at in Surat Thani, especially at the price of these rooms. We have stayed here before, so it wasn't much of a surprise to us, concerning the condition of the hotel, but we hope that in the future more attention can be paid to the maintenance of the location. There is a gym/ wellness center, but it's also in need of repairs, as most of the equipment is broken or not working. For any guests planning to stay at this location, make sure you have your own transportation, or you will certainly have a hard time getting a taxi, or any other kind of public transportation from the hotel itself, as the location is remotely situated from any services from the outside. Morning breakfast is basically non existent, unless you're looking for a terrible cup of coffee. Luckily we knew beforehand what the morning breakfast is like, so we didn't opted for that to be included in our room rate, but for others thinking of staying here, it's best to make plans from the outside, for your meals.

The "Resort" had no eating facility!! My room had some sort of insect problem which left bits of sawdust all over the counters. They do have ample vehicle parking!! Will stay at another hotel if I am ever in this city again!
