Dependable, supportive stay”

Quick service, dependable service, excellent restaurant

We enjoyed our stay at the Narita Airport Rest House. The shuttle bus was easy to find at the arrivals hall, and check in was smooth and quick. With a young baby (and ourselves) needing sleep, it worked well for us. We got a twin room and found it was just the right size for us to bring our pack and play to set up between the beds for our child to sleep. Take away food was possible from the restaurant, and room service delivery was offered (not sure if this is normal) to help us out. The trays were awkward but ordering food to our room was manageable. Food was excellent for dinner and good for breakfast the following morning. We would definitely stay there again on a layover through Narita. Proximity to the airport can't be beat! Late check out comes at an additional cost. A bassinet for your baby is rented at an additional cost. Inquire through Agoda for recent rates.

Low-cost airport hotel with limited aircraft-spotting space”

Narita Airport Rest House is one of the cheap airport hotels in Asia where Japanese Timetables of Hokkaido airline Air DO can be collected. Staff are friendly and hospitable. It is of proximity to the airport buses of Narita. From Narita Airport, one can reach Haneda and Chofu Airports easily. The restaurant is small. During breakfast hours, it can be full of guests. However, aircraft-spotting is limited. In contrast, airport-spotting is much better in the observation decks of Narita airport.

Convenient and Good Value”

This was not by any means my first stay at the Narita Rest House, but it was my first since they renovated the hotel, and I have to say it badly needed it as she was becoming a jaded old lady! The renovation was successful, and the hotel is clean and bright. Despite being within Narita Airport per se, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, and of course very convenient. Particularly so, as the hotel runs regular free shuttle buses to and from all terminals. The seats in the shuttle bus are a little tight for longer legged individuals, and don't take the seats near the rear wheel arches!! The bus drivers and other personnel are extremely courteous, and will happily help older or less strong individuals on and off the bus with their luggage. The hotel itself has very helpful and friendly staff, and a number of languages are spoken. The restaurant has a reasonable menu, but for me the curry has always been my favourite for 3 decades: try it, you'll like it!

Convenient at Great Price!”

The best 3 things about the hotel was the location to the airport, comfortable and clean room, and meals in vending machine.

My trip to Narita Airport was from Okinawa to pick up my dog that was shipped to me by my parents. I was traveling alone with very little knowledge of Japanese and for 1 night. The shuttle bus from the airport (stop 32 at Terminal 2) and (stop 16 at terminal 1) dropped me off at the front door to the lobby. I walked in with my confirmation paper, filled in my information on a sheet of paper, and was given a key to my room. My room was very cozy and clean... I thoroughly enjoyed my hot shower. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner was available. The room also had a hair dryer which I used. I didn't eat in the restaurant... I used the vending machine instead. The vending machine offered local meals for a good price and a microwave was next to the machines for use. I enjoyed my meals (I ate a total of 2). After checking out, the shuttle bus took me back to the hotel. The airport is very close to the airport and you CANNOT beat the price! The hotel is outdated, but it was very clean (reminded me of staying at my grandmother's house when I was little). I was very comfortable and will use this hotel again if I ever fly to the area again.

Great Location, excellent service”

We stayed for one night as we had an early flight from Narita Airport. There is a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, however as our train from Tokyo was delayed we chose to take a very short taxi ride to the hotel. Checking in was very easy and we were shortly in our room. We were nicely surprised to see that the room was a very good size with plenty of space to store our luggage. Even though the hotel is very close to the airport, we had no issues with noise. We had dinner at the retaurant in the hotel and enjoyed delicious meals that were a little more expensive but worth it for the convenience and the quality of the meal. We would certainly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay when arriving or departing Tokyo.

Dependable Overnight stop”

Narita Airport Rest House is the most dependable overnight stop I've experienced in all my travel. No, you won't be in the lap of luxury, but you will have an efficient experience. You get there from the airport quickly and the shuttle is frequent for getting back. THe restaurant has good options for dinner and the room is clean and just what you need for staying overnight.

clean and cheap”

it was clean, cheap, and virtually inside the airport, only a 7 minute walk to the main terminal aka terminal 1

My stay was easy. I was in Narita for an overnight layover, about 20 hours, so I crashed here which was the closest place to the airport. In retrospect, since I took a free hotel shuttle here just to find the place (even though it's walkable), for a first timer, I might look to stay somewhere in Narita where there is more food. Also I'd book this place through its website with a deal for included breakfast and a later checkout. Anyway as a last resort there are vending machines with food in this hotel and the airport is close by I just don't know their food court hours.

Great location”

I arrived Narita Airport late and was traveling to Osaka the next morning, i stayed in this hotel which is apparently the only hotel inside the airport, as I did not to go all the way into Tokyo only to leave the next morning. It was close to the airport, and very convenient as there are buses to pick up/drop off customer twice every hour. The room is not tiny like many of the other Japanese Hotels, very good value for money

Service, Essentials, and Details”

This is the best bare bones stopover at Narita airport. Free shuttles depart approximately 2 to 3 times per hour to or from the hotel. There are luggage carts at the entrance of the hotel for you to load and help bring your luggage to your room. They have options for paying for a late checkout at 1pm, 3pm, or 5pm (checkout is normally at 11am), and for baby cots too (about 1700 Yen). The baby cot is an old wooden contraption that doesn't look like it will work but is solid and proved a great space for our baby to sleep. Rooms are dark (because of window shades) or bright when you want them to be and the design of the room allows for storage of lots of luggage. The restaurant has a lot of great Japanese options, though not a lot of western options, and there are vending machines that provide ample options for food and drink if you're up in the wee hours of the morning from a flight from north america or elsewhere. It is not a luxury experience, and the pillows could definitely be better, but overall it is a dependable one night stay prior to an onward journey.

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY & ECONOMIC HOTEL ”

Hello. I was in this hotel for 1 night. I had choose the "Non-Smoking, Single Person Room". The location of this hotel is very Central. You can reach here by - "Terminal 2 Bus Platform No 32", - the "Airport Round Trip Bus will Pick you up- free of cost after every 20 min" . It is quiet Old Fashioned Hotel, if you compare to all new ones. But the Facilities are equivalent to any of new hotel with lowest price. I was surprised that My room was very big one compare to my stays in Tokyo City / Sappopro Citry & other hotels I observed. For such a big room I may have to Pay 20,000 Yen in other hotels particular in city. Whether I had paid only 8000 Yen here. (with Breakfast) Hotel staff was very co-operative & hotel was nicely maintained. Room Service was nice, Wi-Fy Speed was excellent. Bathroom was enough big with all amenities & hot water. Room was having "Water Heating Kettle & complementary pouches of Green Tea, Fan T.V & A.C. Room Light System was very nice. Bed was enough big for 1 person. Hotel is having good Lobby area, Big Restaurent (Which is open from Morning 6.30 to 10 at Night), with a lavish seating arrangement. Breakfast was having variety of food ofcourse mainly as Japanese Type. but including Fruits, Milk, & Corn Flex. I dont know where the Hotel was having Washing Machine, Dryer, Iron, but certinely it must. It is Economic Hotel suitable for Tourist, Business People- who just dont want to show off their money just running behind other Groomed hotels. It is not a Resort or Lavish Five star hotel but definitely Excellent one. Definitely advisable & Value for Money is Excellent . If I go to Tokyo n need to stay nearby Airport I will definitely choose it. Regards. Harshad Apte.
