Narnia”
Narnia is a small hotel, conveniently located close to where the speedboat from Male drops you off. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are of good size. I was comfortable and happy the whole time I was there :) If I get lucky enough to come back to Maafushi I will definitely stay here again.

thank you for the feedback. we hope to see you soon.
Strongly recommended and Excellent hospitality!”
Strategic location. The hotel is really near to jetty and 2 restaurants- Chinese food and India food, really close to bikini beach, just a few minute walk, close to some mini marts, pharmacy- which was a bonus for me,as my wife wasn't in good conditions in that period, and also some souvenir shops. Must try the activities offer by the hotel, it's really well arrangement and cheaper price! 1. Half day trip were fun, snorkeling and with nice lunch at sandbank. 2. Sunset fishing, even we got no fish but the worker manage to catch some and Narnia served nice dinner for us. 3. Scuba diving- our 1st diving experience and it's amazing. 4. Private tour- we managed to see dolphins, sharks visit local island and taste the local foods. Hope to try more but we have no enough time. Big thank you to all friendly Staffs and Mr Shaheen, the manager of the hotel provided excellent arrangement for us and I would recommend Narnia to all my friends!

Ok ok hotel but good for tight budget ”
I have booked this by looking at the images available on the agoda booking page. All the things are looked so good that we have also imagined the same, but when we reach over there it looks so dull and no lights were there at reception. I think they have gave hotel to someone else so run so maybe that's why all this happened. Rooms were ok ok they're clean but didn't gave that feel good factor. It was ok. Plus, the door locked was faulty, tv was not working, ac also not good. The hotel is near the jetty so it is plus point here, also their representative came to jetty ro recieve us and they carried our luggage. Overall ok ok hotel but if you are on tight budget then can check for this.

Good”
I really don't know why this hotel receive such a high rating. This hotel is ok type for 1-2 days stay. The hotel rooms doesn't have any window, it's not beach facing, the amentities are very very limited, there is no variations in breakfast, altogether very average hotel

Not recomendet”
They charged us double green tax, instead of $18 for 3nights, we paid $36!!! The room was big, bathroom as well. There wasn't duvet, only single syntetic uncovered blanket for two people. There was a kettle in the room, but no cups, no tea or coffee. In the bathroom under the sink cabinet were three smelly, very old, mouldy toilet paper. We had a tour one day and I contacted the staff (he wasn't at the reception in the evening) via WhatsApp about breakfast, when could we have it.. He read the messages, but didn't bother to answer. I asked him about breakfast next morning, he didn't understand what I am taking about, he wasn't very happy, but he gave us finally the breakfast. Thank you for that.

Noisy hotel ”
Room 101 was right at the side of the kitchen and noisy from the building site next door.Room was a good size with fast internet but had a strange 8 ft garden fence surrounding the patio area which I found a little oppressive. Breakfast was buffet and included in the price was ok. Receptionist was really friendly and helpful.

Not recomended at all”
This small accommodation is not recommended at all, it is a small guesthouse. The photographs do not correspond to reality. My room did not have the patio with table and chairs indicated in the reservation. The sheets and pillows were dirty, they did not change them, they were the same ones used by the previous guests. During my stay the room was not cleaned. The bathroom furniture was rusty, there was no hand soap. The towels are beach towels, there are no hands or shower towels. They have to be used. There was no toilet paper. The plug adapter does not work. The staff tends to lie, when they say something then they don't comply, they are a mess. Breakfast is not a buffet, they don't even ask what you want, they just serve it to you. There was no way to get a receipt until the last day. They tried to charge me twice the tourist tax.

Best hotel on Maafushi Island.”
The best place for those travelers who want to spend less on hotels and more on excursions. The staff is so helpful and friendly. You just ask for any help and they would manage it in anyway. The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable with all basic amenities. The hotel would arrange for your excursions and its proximity to the beach makes it more attractive. Reaching Maafushi Island is a thing to consider seriously. There is a ferry that leaves Male' city at 3pm local time but tickets sell within no time. I would suggest to gets tickets around 9am in the morning from Villingdilli ferry terminal in Male' city. If you miss these tickets you will be left with no choice but to hire a speed boat that cost $200. However the group of 10 people in a speed boat can share the load if they want to make it less expensive. Similarly, from Maafushi Island to Male' city the ferry leaves at 7:30am so you must get tickets around 6pm from a local grocery shop called "Aacha Shop" the day before you want to leave by ferry. Remember there is only one ferry trip between Maafushi Island and Male' city per day. If you don't want to get ferry, take speed boat available all day, which is an exciting experience within itself. The menu of Narnia is good and tasty. They would arrange for excursions. The snorkeling costs around $80 per person. The scuba diving around $120 per person. Nearby resort visits including day activities around $100+ Maafushi is a good and lively island but not to remain only here. You must take some nearby island visits to make your trip memorable.

“Welcome to the Hotel Narnia.. Such a lovely place”
Thanks for making our stay nothing less than AMAZING !! As soon as we got down from the boat, we were greeted warmly by Ibrahim, the guest relations manager at Narnia Maldives. The smile on his face made us feel so good. He guided us to the hotel, which is very close from the ferry point. As soon as we entered the hotel we were welcomed with refreshing drinks and fresh towels which was really needed after an hot afternoon boat ride. The rooms are beautiful, AC is the best part, superrrrr cool. The rooms are well-furnished, big, bathrooms are well lit with open shower, clean and spacious too. All this is always kept clean by the staff. Each day after the rooms were cleaned, we would find a new towel arrangement on our bed. Sometimes a swan, a dhoni, a flower. My wife used to just love the creativity. :-) The food is very good too, nice breakfast, good fish curry, I specially loved the coffee which was server 24 hours whenever we ordered and was offered free of cost. We enjoyed fishing trip and snorkelling trip with Ibrahim, Hassan, Suja who make sure they are always around during these trips, guiding us, clicking pictures with Go-Pro, making sure The overall staff is very friendly, always ready to answer all our questions. At evenings they played guitar, sang songs. It was really very good environment overall. Thanks Ibrahim, Arush, Suja, Hassan and all the others at Narnia for making our stay memorable. Thanks Salman for "always ready to serve" attitude, specially the coffee. I recommend everyone to experience Narnia, will definitely suggest to my friends and family. Would be the first place to stay whenever in Maldives.

Way better than any resort!”
I'm so glad we chose to stay in a guesthouse on an inhabited island, and not in a resort in the Maldives. The staff at Narnia could not have been better. They were fun, attentive, helpful, and cool! They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, whether it was something you needed in the room, or arrangements for diving, or recommending where to eat. They never tried to get you to do their activities or eat in their restaurant, but when we did, the activity was perfect and the food excellent. The rooms are brand new and spotless. And honestly much nicer than the room we had at the airport which was 3 times the price! The internet works well. The island of Maafushi is lovely - friendly, local, beautiful. There are a couple great restaurants with plastic tables and chairs and candles on the beach within 2 minutes of the hotel. The residents on the island are full of smiles everywhere you go. And if you really want to go to a resort, well you can go for a day from from Maafushi for a fraction of the cost of what you would pay to stay there. There is an excellent dive shop on the island as well. Don't hesitate - book here!

Perfect Stay”
Perfect stay I was really enjoying my stay at Narnia, everything seems to be perfect for a solo traveller like me, pros : very good price for what they've offered, the location is right in front of the hulhumale harbour, just look for the hand statue, you will find a narrow quiet street in front of it and you can see narnia. The room is spacious with king size bed, a balcony with benches, and the best part is the alfresco (open air) designed shower, you'll need that when you are on holiday trust me :-), room is also clean and neat, and what makes me feel at home was their staff's hospitality, so friendly and attentive, especially the hotel manager Shafeeg, he was really much helpful arranging me the tour activities during my stay in maafushi, and I got "private" sandbank and local islands excursion with a group price hahah what I found as a con was the shower is very weak, I need power shower for holiday, well but this time it was not a big deal though, and they served traditional maldivian Mashuni tuna with shreded coconut and roshi, taste realy good! Would never think other place to stay in maafushi rather than Narnia, would definitely coming back for stay there

Superb”
We were a last minute booking, because the place we were supposed to stay wasn’t acceptable. I was quite stressed so I mixed up the booking dates. The owner kindly helped me fix it for the same price and no additional charges at all. We’ve got a huge, very well equipped room. It was spotlessly clean. They offer beach towels and even snorkel masks without charge. We have got our biggest breakfast there in Maldives (we stayed at 4 hotels), the staff was always helpful, they let us check out at 3pm. The bikini beach is just 5 min walk away, a lot of restaurants around. Maafushi is a really good island for activities, recommend to try at least 2-3. After all I highly recommend this place. If I went to Maafushi again I would definitely choose the Narnia again.

Exceptional”
My concern before traveling to Maldives was that it would be overestimated and overpriced, and I was absolutely right. It is a wonderful destination but the prices are totally abusive. However there are wonderful alternatives like Narnia hotel, which is more than a fair price for being in Maldives, run by locals and with a personal caring touch. Comfortable place, clean, friendly staff, internet and water sports equipment for free. When you arrive to Maafushi, the very nice bellboy will come and get you from the pier and bring you on departure day (despite the heavy rain) just like a relative would do. Thank you guys for the excllent job you do!

Cheap accommodation but hotel like service!!!”
Narnia Maldives Hotel is highly recommendable! You'll actually get more than what you pay for! From their service upon the date of your arrival to the day of your departure! Its location is just 3-5 minutes from the jetty port of Maafushi. Hotel is always clean with spacious rooms. The manager Shafyg and his assistant Ruben were very helpful. They treat you like a family. They were always available to help and assist you. They go the extra mile to make sure that your stay will have eveything fall in place. Highly recommended!!! Two thumbs up for the value, location, cleanliness, amenities, service and everything!!!

Homely, cozy and spacious accomodation”
A big thank you to the manager of the hotel who really took care of us and acceded to all our big and small requests during our 10-day stay here. We truly feel comfortable and at ease in this homely and cozy hotel. Room is very spacious and we have plenty of space to move around even after fully opened our 2 big luggages. Breakfast will alternate between Maldivian and Western breakfast. Although the breakfast is a simple fare, it is considered not too bad compared to other meals we had in Maldives. Would recommend to go for open shower room to be closer to nature and feel more relaxed. TV signal is very stable and lots of channel to select from for entertainment. Hotel provides free snorkelling kits. We took the sunset fishing package from the hotel for one night and the hotel provided free preparation and grilling of the fishes caught which is really tasty and well-cooked. Although there are faulty amenities (e.g. water pressure from shower not strong enough, heater not working properly, basin water pipe burst on one night), these issues were promptly attended to and resolved. One area for management to consider is probably to provide a thicker blanket as the room can get rather cold given that the air con is really powerful in cooling the room. Missing my hotel stay already and will definitely choose to stay in this hotel again in my next trip to Maafushi. Maafushi is a nice little local island with plenty of water sports packages from different agencies, so prices are definitely competitive and reasonable :)
