"service was good but the surroundings were dirty with lots of fallen leaves not swept. We expected a lot of turtles to be seen around but only saw 1. Arena is a private island were it is ideal for couples or who just simply wanted to be away from the city. There are no facilities like wi-fi and electricity was just from 6pm to 6am. The food is good but limited. there is no store to buy goods or souvenirs. it's just a private island where you can relax, swim and enjoy the breeze."

"The resort is truly for families on vacation. They have enough pools and beach front to accommodate a lot of people. Food was good and safe. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our rooms are clean though rather sparse compared to what we are usually used to. Our aircon needed to be serviced because it was very noisy. But over-all it is a well-maintained resort. We did research on the flora of Palawan, and their location, Narra was a good jump-off point."

"Sadly google maps were extremely wrong with this place and even agoda were off with their map. We were coming to Narra to see the endangered Philippines Cockatoo on rasa Island at 5.30 am and this place is a little hard to get to. Luckily however, the British gentleman Ian, who runs this place with his wife, got up at 5am to take us to the beach to meet our local guide. We only stayed one night but you can also get a boat to Maydavian's private pier if you are staying 2 nights and doing the Rasa Island trip. Enjoyed swim, food and drinks at the hotel while we were there as well as chilling on the hammocks on their private jetty for a fantastic view. "
