We travelled as a family of 12. Since there is nothing at all around the hotel, we spent a great time together in the evening playing pool, table tennis and chilling at their reception.

spacious room with good swimming/spa facilities”
We booked a 6-bed room. Room spacious and clean, with complimentary drinks and pineapple tarts. It felt good, especially when travelling with kids. The location is nearer Beinan archaeology site and a pre-historical museum. not exactly close to the Taitung train station, so more convenient to travel with car. The swimming, spa & hot spring facility is a highlight. the recreation room is standard, with table tennis and billard/pool table, as well as some basic children slides to use for free. There is another room with more facilities like wii which cost NT100 per person. For F&B, the restaurant price is way too high for us with 3 children. For us, it is adult NT880 (before tax) and NT440 for child (before tax). We found some eateries nearby to eat, so it is alright. As we need to drive back to Kaohsiung by 9am, the staff was kind to provide us with a box of bread, an apple and a pack of fruit juice since we can't utilize the breakfast voucher. this is good service!

Good stay despite the circumstances”
We arrived near the beginning of the Covid outbreak, unfortunately. The rooms are aging a bit, but still nice. The facilities are probably very good, but were understandably closed. The only issue we had was that the website never updated to explain facility closure (or maybe the English translation wasn't good), and we didn't receive any indication that facilities were closed before arrival. That's fine, but considering most of the value of the hotel comes from the facilities, it would have been nice to get a discount on the room price. They did provide a lower nightly fee for extending the stay, which was nice. The location is good - about halfway between the airport and train station. A scooter or car is necessary for traveling around Taitung, and the hotel has good underground parking.

Out of expectation”
Love the friendly staff and the facilities in the hotel, the room and the public area is very clean. It's truly out of my expectation! Although it's one of the earliest five-star hotels in Taitung, I don't feel that the equipment is old at all.

Free shuttle to Teihua Music Village”
Location is outside city but near to train station. Free shuttle available to train station through pre-booking. 2 way free shuttle bus also available around evening time to Tiehua Music Village (walking distance to Taitung night market) by pre-booking. Room is big. Wide spread breakfast choice.

Great view, great bed, dinner option not so good”
Took my parents there to stay during CNY. Despite the long queue (which is alright because it's CNY definitely got a lot of people around), the place is nice to stay, spacious. The price include the dinner and breakfast but both of the dining experiences were not so well..... Overall the price was alright, just probably need to eat out.

Disappointing ”
I thought it was an okay hotel. 1. The shuttle bus driver was very inpatient with my elderly parents. 2. The ck-in process was too slow 3. The male ch-in staff was not friendly at all. 4. The water in the "Hot Sprint facility" was too cold. 5. The food was too simple, nothing special really. The best experience of our stay was the kindness provided by the cleaning crew. Over all, very disappointing!!

The hotel has seen better days. The kids facilities were disappointing, the spa facilities were dated and not up to standard. General maintenance is lacking. The room was OK although fridge was noisy and had to be disconnected to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was substandard, the quality of the ingredients was lacking and there were some fruit flies hovering over the fruit salad. Some cutlery and plates not clean. Maybe 5 star 20 years ago but not anymore.

First of all, I waited over 1 hr just to check-in into the hotel. The lineup was huge! Second of all, breakfast buffet was also not a pleasant experience since there were FLIES resting on the boiled eggs, and hovering around food. Kids love the pool though cuz there's a water slide. Other than that, nothing worth staying at this hotel. BTW, there's a little Thai restaurant right outside the hotel and it's one of the best Thai food I've ever tried in Taiwan. We liked it so much that we ate there 2 days in a row!
