Really enjoyed our short stay at the Natadola Beach Resort. Resort arranged transport from the airport (and return) for a very good rate. When we arrived we were greeted by Bob and his team, to a very friendly welcome. While the room was somewhat dated it was very comfortable and relaxing. The meals were fantastic (better than the hotel next door) and great value. We will stay again on our next visit to Fiji.
Great location, friendly staff, ”
We were looking for a hotel close to the natadola golf course and this hotel is only 5 minutes away from the course. The staff are really friendly and he hotel is right on the beach which is really beautiful. If you want an expensive meal then the inter continental is right next door . The beach is quite spectacular but just watch the locals at nights. We mucked up the dates we booked but the manager bob was really helpful.
Not too bad a place”
Great staff and friendly”
Great place, food is good and the staff are friendly
Old but clean hotel close to the beach !”
The Resort is old but clean and the staff is friendly. The restaurant is not so bad but if you need to eat something better go to the close (3 min. by walk) Intercontinental Hotel. The beach is clean and good for run, the sea is wonderful!
right on the beach and a quiet hotel”
The hotel is right on the beach but only the 1st floor room (Sandcastle Suite) has views of the beach, the other rooms have a nice courtyard but are walled but over the wall is the beach. Hotel is quiet, no children are allowed. Great place to get away from it all but limited activities but right next door is the Intercontinental Hotel.
great place to get away from it all ”
Great place to go if you want to escape the rat race. No children are allowed. Very quiet and relaxing and situated right on the beach where you can do lovely walks and have the beach nearly to yourself.Bob who is Australian and the Manager is very friendly and helpful.
We loved the beach, but it is isolated.”
Expensive. The meals were modest and we paid a premium prices. There were few alternatives to eating at the resort. The taste of fish and chips and the portions were small and it was not good. There were few salads and vegetables and meal choice was limited. It began to be repetitive and we felt that we needed more fresh food. The resort has much potential, but it is dated and in disrepair. We had broken waterlines and no hot water twice while we were there. The gardens need attention and it could use some flowers to cheer things up. On a tropical island this should not be a problem and I can see no excuse for being plain.
This hotel is a retreat”
The hotel is very quiet, no TV or phones in the rooms. it's an ideal location for those wanting isolation and peace, the staff are very attentive and can't do enough to please. the beach looks idillic but there are undertows and quite a lot of surf, not suitable for children unless they are with parents, the hotel next door "Intercontinental; offers an opportunity to have a more touristy night out or a drink at the bar. the food at the Natadola Beach resort is pretty basic but not unpleasant, I would suggest a stay of no more than 5 days here, unless you are really stressed, but it's great to just sit by the pool and chill.
Great place to relax and snorkel right off beach”
Next door to Intercontinental ”
Past its prime”
Unfortunately the hotel looks well past its prime - we felt like we travelled in time to the 70's.
Nice Quiet Location”
stay was very enjoyable. the hotel was quiet at the time with just a few other guests so we had the pool virtually to ourselves. the area around the pool has lovely vegetation so it nearly resembles the botanic gardens tropical section. staff were very friendly and bob made us feel very relaxed and at home.the beach out front is literally yards away and the real plus for the resort.
