Perfect 1 night stay. Great staff and big clean kitchen. Only downer was having to pay for wifi but when the room is cheap it doesn’t really bother you. Quick tip: we were able to get a cheaper shuttle via Backpackerdeals so worth shopping around. We paid $60 for 2 people (with a code)
We love the place although it looks a bit aging. Kitchen is good except that some of the cooker doesn't work properly. Location is nice where you can catch the bus for the crossing
Wifi is expensive. There is no free wifi. Cleanest isn't good, they left the towel from old clients in the bathroom :)

This is your typical ‘old style backpacker’ backpackers. Walls thin, floorboards creaky, beds average. Doesn’t look like anything would have changed since it opened. People are really here just for the hiking, so a lot of early risers which was also me. It was clean enough, kitchen was fine. Bring some earplugs to ensure you get a good sleep before your big hike. Paying for wifi with ‘mb’ packages? Really? Guy who checked me in could be a little more friendly mannered also. Fine for one night, gets the job done. But if you want to stay more than that, perhaps check some other options in the area.
