“Exceptional stay with Exceptional People!”
Our first time here for a 3D2N stay. From the time we arrived at the ferry terminal, we were greeted with warm smiles. Everywhere we go, the staffs are all smiley and helpful! We had an early check in which was a breeze, was then brought to our beautiful room. There was a 5L water dispenser (can dispense hot and cold water) in the room. (being a Singaporean, we had actually lugged some bottles of drinking water here..such a waste of effort) The room is clean and comfortable. Bed is soft and inviting. Air con is nice and cooling! Food (we had lunch once and 2 mornings breakfast) at Patio: The service at Patio is also amazing. We will get a table with minimum waiting time. Their coffee is good! Their food variety is good! Foods are replenished promptly. Tastes to our liking too! Was also offered straight from the oven croissants on our first breakfast day! Wow! Really tastes so good! So sad I didn’t get to eat again on 2nd morning. We also had some complimentary activities included with the stay at Treasure Bay: archery, big float, slide, kayaking and firecrackers. Bicycles are complimentary till 6pm daily. We missed the timing for tote bag painting (on Friday evenings only) and the staff are happy to give us one to bring back. My daughter also tried their mocktail class and we also enjoyed the safari meet and greet. On our last night of the stay, we had a bbq session at our tent. Slight hiccup with the satay order and it was rectified immediately. We then wanted to try their complimentary firecrackers after the bbq. We called the reception to enquire on the timing however it has just ended at 8.30pm. The reception staff (sorry I don’t know your name coz it’s the hub who called) knew it’s our last night and sent Mr Ano in a buggy immediately to bring us over! We then managed to have our first timer fun with the firecrackers and also set off fireworks too! What a beautiful way to end our short vacay! We were also told to inform treasure bay staffs once we are done and they will send a buggy to fetch us back. Waited a while and a vehicle came instead. The staff kept apologising that we had waited a while for the buggy but he doesn’t know how grateful we are actually! After arriving at the main lobby, when the hub was loitering outside Patio (while I was getting an ice cream for my daughter) a staff actually came up to him and asked if he could arrange a buggy to bring us back to the room so we do not need to walk. So touched by these exceptional people!! Where did they all came from?? 😍 Really the only con: Perhaps it’s part of the glamping experience, the shower and bathroom area is an open concept. It actually makes me a bit worried as open area = mozzies and insects. We also found a dead cockroach camouflaged amongst the pebbles on checking in. The staff came and immediately removed it and also sprayed some ? Insecticide into the drain area. At night time, it also gets so dark that we can’t see very well. Need to shine a torch to help brighten the shower area a bit. Would suggest more lightings at the bathroom if possible. The flooring is also slightly slippery when wet. Overall it was really a perfect vacay for us! We had such a great time and my daughter is asking me when will we be back again!
