Best Value for Money”
Natura Vista is a very nicely kept gem in Panglao away from the hustle and bustle of Alona Beach. Our stay was very pleasant thanks to the very helpful and accommodating staff and the free breakfast which was already included in the price. The internet was a bit patchy but they fixed it. While they made us aware that it isn't a luxury resort, the service that we received from check in to check out was comparable to what I usually receive when I stay in fancy resorts and hotels. There is a small swimming pool and tub that you can relax in after a long day, and the beach is 5 minutes walk away. For those who are into caves, Hinagdanan cave is close to Natura and is a perfect getaway for swimming and relaxation. Since everything in Panglao is more expensive than in Tagbilaran, it is highly recommended to rent a motorbike before checking in. For those who don't drive, Natura staff are more than willing to help arrange transportation for you. I will definitely come back and can't recommend this place enough!
Gem of Panglao”
If your up to a quite place then Natura Vista is for you. The place has native design and modernize vibe. Very peaceful and relaxing. Everything went smooth from picking up and vice versa, to reception, the room and food. The room is simple but is well kept-clean and I love the AC, it was freezing cold. The food was delightful! The staffs is really friendly and polite, they made us feel welcome. It’s like being home away from home. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. Will surely come back!
Thank you so much for your feedback, Mer-ain. We feel privileged that you chose to share your journey with us. More happy travels! :)
A peaceful home away from home”
It feels like home when you are here. All the staff are helpful and friendly. They give suggestions on where best to go. What I can't forget about this place is the cute nice white cuddly dog named Maynard! I might check-in here again to see him. Breakfasts are ok. We enjoyed having coffee, reading some of the books, playing darts, and chilling at the jacuzzi pool. It's a few minute walk to the beach. It's quite far from the fave tourist spots but there's one close by you can walk to called the "Hinagdanan Cave". I suggest they include the "get a book and trade with your own book" (for those who might be interested) on their agoda welcoming message.
I really loved my stay at Natura Vista! I decided to stay there for 2 days to rest out after a whole week of running around. The personel is extremely helpful and friendly (I even played Damme and Chess with them). They have a lovely dog who loves to cuddle. The beds are good, the place is clean, overall it was exactly what I needed at that time.
Perfect place to spend holidays ”
The hotel near the sea, there is a quilt and beautiful beach near the hotel just cost two minutes to walk, the workers are very nice with patience and enthusiasm ，the price is cheap but includes the breakfast,if you want have a peaceful and relaxing vocation,it's a best place. But the picture on the mixed room's wall is so embarrassing
cheap for solo traveler”
good for solo traveler and loner! its very quiet place for beach! and the dormitory is very cheap including the breakfast you hve choices. staffs are friendly and always asking if youre OK or NOT. the only bad thing is if youre party people this is not a plce for you. its too far from natura vista to alona beach where you can have drinks and small party. and the toilet flash doesnt work but its ok, dorm is clean, bathroom, shower.. other than i was expecting for small pool if i dont want to swim i can stay to the pool but its under construction.. maybe they should put something to aware guest. 9/10
Amazing getaway to rest, relax and take time for yourself”
Natura Vista is an amazing hidden gem away from busy Alona beach. Local beach may be small but much cleaner and less rushed. We enjoyed it much more than Alona. If you prefer fresh water, about 15 minutes walk away from the resort is a cave where you can swim, welcomed surprise during our stay. Staff in Natura Vista were absolutely accommodating and helped us with all our questions and requests. They also have the cutest fluffy little dog to provide you company during your stay :) We have enjoyed everything but the reason we definitely want to come back for is the food. It is not a complicated fine dining but simple, delicious Philippine food made from the freshest, best produce possible. Even the rice there was so delicious, we miss it already.
Place is comfortable and clean, serves great food, and has genuinely accommodating staff (Hi, Justin & Kristina!). The beach nearby was a pleasant surprise! Enjoyed my stay and will go back here again, for sure. Highly recommended!
Provincial experience Indeed!!!”
The feeling of when I was in my teen vacationing at relatives house in the province but with the experience of being pampered. The place is clean and homey. The feeling of being home and when you’re missing your dog Maynard is filling up the space! Food is great and staffs are friendly and sweet! Looking forward to another stay!!!
A great relaxing place”
I stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be so relaxing. Gentle music playing most of the time while are relaxing in the many hammocks they have around the ground. It is away from everywhere so you need to get transport, which is provided by the staff driver for a cost. I ate mostly here and most meals are under 200pesos.I found the grilled stuffed fish to be excellent. The staff are great and always willing to help or chat.HIghly recommended if you want to get away from the usual crowds.
We enjoyed our stay”
We liked the location, it is somewhat remote, a beautiful remote beach 100 meters walk, often we were the only ones on the beach. Room was cozy, the a/c worked fine, hot shower, food was good, staff would work to fix things as you like them. Town (Tagbilaran) was a 15 minute ride away by Jeepney (P11), or tricycle (P130), and they're sometimes difficult to find, you need to walk the 600m dirt road to the main road and then be patient. From top to bottom, the staff were superb. A place to go to unwind, not a place to go to be entertained, there is nothing outside of Tagbilaran, no other local restaurants. We would go back again, it was certainly good value for money.
Good budget resort”
Value for money. Good budget place to stay in if you have plenty of planned activities for the day because there is not much to do in the resort.
Homey and peaceful ”
Rough road going here but peaceful and quiet environment. Very homey place. Staff are very nice and helpful. Room was okay for its price but the AC was very noisy. The pool is still being renovated. There is a beach 2 minutes away but it was a bit dirty when we came, so we didn't feel like swimming. There were no restaurants around but it was fine because they serve delicious food. Best to have arranged tours or rent a motorbike since public transportation is unreliable.
Wonderful place to stay, there is a nearby beach and cave. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our tour was made easier because of their great assistance. Justin is very accommodating and they have a lovely dog named Maynard.
home away from home”
nice hotel, you can actually feel that you’re really in an island because of the vibe there. the staffs are really nice, especially justine, i like how he entertained us and helped us on something. would really come back here.
it doesn't deserve 5 star”
Best hotel experience ever. Maybe 7 or 8 star will do but because of the cute fluffy dog in the hotel we'll give a 10. We really enjoyed our 3rd wedding anniversary. Nice accommodation and great food. Very helpful staff (kitchen and front desk). we will definitely come back. highly recommended.
I loved the place, really chill and homey, very lively throughout the day. The food was average though and the beach nearby is uninviting.
We had the double room which is a bit small. Could use a proper table in the room to place our things. The tap water had a weird taste so better use bottled water instead to brush your teeth. Breakfast could be more generous. However, staff is very nice and very helpful. They have a cute inhouse dog. The ambiance of the place is very nice as well. Recommended for a traveller on a budget :)
Severely stained matresses and constant noise from kitechen below”
POSITIVE - It lies in a quiet place, no big roads or nightlife close by - Hotel enviroment is relaxing and laid back, a lot of wood and "garbage made to art". A bit "flower power" allmost - Can rent motorbike at reception NEGATIVE - Our room was located right above the kitchen = lot of banging noise woke us up too early. Upon request the staff tried to find a different room but not possible for that night. - Matress was covered with sheets, but we felt a smell, upon check the entire matress was covered in what looked to be "old pee" so we imediatelly requested a change of matress. First answer "no spare matresses". We asked to change room again but no. In the end they managed to get a matress from another room that was about to be occupied. Dont know if They got our "pee matress" since they didnt have any spare but... - Breakfast not that good - Road has SEVERE rocks = careful on the moto out to the main road especially if 2 on the bike to prevent flat tire - Beach...not great
Hi Ola, it's been more than a year, and our mattresses have been changed already with brand new ones since early last year and we have renovated the place. Anyway, again I apologize for not having a spare mattress right away since it was really full that time (Dec 2017) as we've previously explained. FYI it wasn't pee.. it's just so humid sometimes here in the tropics and the air gets a lot of moisture which is hard to control. Thankfully, our local government has started working on the rough road to Natura Vista too. Most roads are like that in the rural areas in the Philippines unfortunately. Anyway, we wish you more amazing adventures. Have a great journey this 2019! :) :)
