Loved the retro style in the foyer and community room/bar/restaurant. Cosy place to pass the time before a flight. Bedrooms are fit for purpose, clean and comfortable without being lavish. Appropriate for the money.

The location is perfect if you're just waiting for your flight. Don't expect to have shops nearby or a place to it other than a gasoline convenience store or the hotel itself. But overall the place was perfect for while we were waiting for our flight.

Goog hotel for the money, easy airport transport”
I was traveling with my 6 year old son and we needed a room for one night to catch flight next day. Cost 80$ CAD. We arrived after 11PM to Gatwick airport. Upon our arrival we were met by the clerk at the front desk.Everything was in the order and we got our room key fast. We were offered to buy buffet breakfast (10Pound for adult 5 for kids). Room consist of two single beds with clean sheets, towels, bathroom with tub/shower. Air conditioning was a bit noise so we opened window (street view). Constant traffic but did not bother us to sleep on average spring beds. Hot buffet Breakfast. Pretty descent over all. Transportation: If you coming from South Terminal you need to go to station #9 and take G1 or G3 or G7 All these buses has stops at Airport Inn Gatwick, Holiday inn Gatwick Airport and Travelodge Gatwick Airport central 10 min ride. Buses are going every 10 to 15 min. Cost is 4 pound for Adult, kids 16 and younger are free. From North terminal go to station #8.

Close to gatwick terminals (2 mins). Room a bit tired -bathroom skirting boards needed replacing and gaffer tape was covering a crack in the floor tiles- but all clean. Simply wanted somewhere cheap to crash after a long flight before a 6 hr drive. I found bed firm but comfortable. Bit off a faff on arrival as eventually found a parking spot in the busy hotel car park to be informed they were extremely busy and all spaces had been reserved for'fly and park' customers only- we then simply parked next door at adjacent travelodge (£8-24hrs). Counter staff were pleasant and efficient. Cheap and comfortable- just don't expect frills..

This hotel is an average type. The room was clean, the bathroom large with a nice bath. The staff were pleasant and informative. Bar restaurant a bit pricy but very reasonable quality. Would recommend paying for breakfast when you book, it was a good breakfast with good choices. My biggest negative was the WiFi!!! They advertise free WiFi, but that is only in the public areas, you get 2 hours in the rooms, then you have to pay, £7 for 24 hours, but that is just for one device, so if you have family and they all want to use WiFi, £7 times the number of devices. Think a bit of a con.

It was good considering we were close to the airport. There wasn’t much around in term of shops and food though. Otherwise the room was nice. Oh and the internet was timed so that wasn’t good

Ok for a quick nap before an early flight for those who don't mind the hassle ”
Stayed here because we had a 6:30am flight and wanted get a bit of sleep. At £57 for the night it was about half the cost of Yotel or Bloc and seemed like a good deal. We ended up taking a taxi there because there was no information on the website about how to find the shuttle bus and the taxi ended up being only £5 more than the bus for the 2 of us. For groups with more than 2 adults, a taxi is cheaper / better. The shuttle bus is not exclusive to the hotel but rather part of a private network that serves hotels on the outskirts of the airport. The hotel itself is quite dated and the room wasn't all that comfortable. We only had 4 hours to try to get some rest before we had to catch our flight so it did the job. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and checking in and out was quick and easy.

1.Asked for wake up call..told maybe..system often down 2.Had a dreadful night ........slept very little, because of clanking and gurgling of the vent in the room Was tired.....feel I was ripped off.

Good price but poor quality”
It was good value but we were unimpressed that the restaurant was too busy to order from for an hour and were told to order our own food from a takeaway company when the restaurant itself was closed and everyone was eating in the bar but it wasn't as busy as I would have expected. Shower was as powerful as a faulty tap and air conditioning didn't do much to help with the heat outside.

There were strands of hair on the bathroom floor and on the bed, I wonder if they did even clean the room at all in between guests. Cleanliness is unacceptable. Also no wifi, or unlimited wifi at the lobby only, and max 20min wifi in your room that is complimentary.
