Fantastisk strand i rolige omgivelser”
God mat, fantastisk betjening og deilig strand. Resepsjonen er behjelpelig med å organisere utflukter, housekeeping ordner med myggnetting og rom to ganger pr dag, og de har valgt å gi gjestene en glassflaske de får fylle opp så mye de vil med gratis vann for å redusere plastavfall. Dette satt vi stor pris på. Det eneste negative vi kan nevne er at det kan bli litt varmt når viftene slås av om natten for å spare strøm nå i regntiden. Vår gruppe hadde seks fine dager på Bamboo.

Fantastisk, avslappende og sjarmerende”
Velsig sjarmerende sted, øko-vennlig og miljøbevisst - noe vi liker. Fantastisk og serviceinnstilt personale som hjelper deg med alt du trenger. Ligger litt unna byen, men etter vår mening på den fineste stranden, og man kan leie scooter eller ta taxi for en billig penge. Maten er også fantastisk. Yogaklasse hver dag og andre hyggelige tilstelninger på huset:) Anbefales på det sterkeste!

Amazing stay for Christmas!”
We stayed at the Bamboo Cottages for four days over Christmas - and we are so glad we did! We were welcomed the moment our taxi arrived at the resort (it is a little out of the way which we think is a good thing but you definitely need a taxi to get there, we bartered down to 400,000VND from the airport to the resort). The staff are so lovely and speak really good English which is a bonus. The resort is gorgeous with the restaurant on the beachfront. The beach itself is really clean with lovely warm water. The cottages are beautifully decorated and so comfortable, with amazing views. You can rent snorkels and kayaks for free. And the staff have lots of ideas for day trips etc. We ate in the restaurant everyday (the red snapper curry, calamari, and fisherman's paradise are a must! Also try out their cocktails - yum!) And on Christmas Eve the staff threw us a BBQ party which was more delicious food than we could handle! I even forgot my bikini and they posted it express to my next hotel! I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Sensational ”
My friends recommended that I stay at Bamboo Cottages and I'm so glad I did! Staff are friendly, professional, attentive. Rooms are spacious, clean and located just metres from the water. The resort is located away from the busy parts of the island - I often had the beach to myself. The restaurant serves fresh delicious meals and, as a vegetarian, I had plenty of options on the menu to choose from. I extended my stay and I predict you will want to do the same.

The perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food, great views and great hospitality. From the second we arrived it was such an incredible experience. The employees were very helpful and the room was always clean and perfect for a relaxing sleep. We felt very lucky to have stayed at Bamboo Cottages and recommend this as your go to spot for Phu Quoc. Thank you to all the amazing staff!

Absolutely amazing place! Can't wait to go back”
The staff is so nice. When we arrived we were upgraded to a beachfront cabin. Then we were waited on hand and foot for 9 days. Morning yoga was a treat. The servers became our best friends. There were plenty of options available for tours around the island, kayaking, hiking, etc. But we chose to just laze. Incredible food, free water, free drinks and appetizers many nights. We would give six stars if we could!

Nice and quiet location”
The rooms, the staff and the restaurant is absolutely amazing. The beach could be better. It is very exposed to wind and the water is wild and unfortunately a lot of plastic flows around even though the hotel does what it can to keep it clean. I would recommend the hotel every day and hope to come back again.

This was our second visit here and it was still just as great. Super friendly staff, perfect quiet location well away from the main area of Phu Quốc and delicious food served right at the waters edge. Couldn’t ask for more.

Gorgeous private beach, worth going here just for the beach. The meals were huge and great value. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Though for the current price range at $70-$90/ night, I think other resorts offered better value for money as the resort is fully eco (no AC, no fridge etc.) and the room was a bit rundown.

A quiet little paradise ”
The bungalow was lovely, it had everything you would need and expect. Free water in glass bottles replenished daily, lots of towels, toiletries and complementary tea and coffee. The semi outdoor bathroom was a nice touch, although it rained really heavily once overnight and got a bit soggy! However, it was promptly cleaned and made perfect again by the staff. The venue is almost directly on the beach which was clean and surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. The individual courtyard had two chairs and a few steps away there were loungers and a couple of hammocks with parasols so you could lie in the shade or the sun listening to the sound of the sea. The breakfasts were good, with a fair amount of choice and lots of fresh fruit and homemade pineapple jam. The meals were all very nice too, they were a bit pricy compared to eating out but I enjoyed everything I ordered. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a pool table, bookshelves, scooter hire, tour information and free snorkel and kayak gear to use. As it was remote and quiet; it could be difficult to get around unless you could ride a scooter or were willing to pay the extra for taxis. There was not much within walking distance, this could be a blessing or a curse depending on your point of view. I found it to be a relaxing, clean and peaceful place compared to the previous days spent at the Long Beach area. However, I think I might have been bored if I'd stayed any longer.

Very nice and accommodating ”
We had a great stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had a problem with the bed and was promptly moved to a new better room. We rented a scooter from the hotel and explored the island. As in a lot of places they have a problem with plastic in the water and on the beach. A guy walks around and cleans the beach in the morning. You can really feel that they are doing their absolute best to give you the best possible stay.

Piece of paradise”
We loved everything about our stay at Bamboo cottages, the view and the property are just beautiful, they operate by sustainable and exological practices, staff is super welcoming and speaks English, food and fresh juices are tasty and healthy. Unlike impersoná respets, this place does not loose touch with nature and gives a very authenric and serene vibe. Small downside is the general pollition (as in all of Vietnam’s sea, but here the staff cleans the beach every day and when the currents do not bring garbage (for us there were 2,5 good days out of 4), you can swim in the water and enjoy the full experience. Otherwise there are kakays, scooters and beautiful garden available. Totally recommend, this place felt like a true paradise!

Perfection ”
This is possibly the best resort in the whole of Vietnam if you're looking for a private beach with beautiful views, amazing service, delicious vegetarian food, and quiet. My room is spacious and comfortable with a gorgeous private veranda and garden overlooking the sea, and all I can hear are the waves and birdsong. The aircon works perfectly and the room is well equipped. Service is smiley, friendly, and competent and the vegetarian food (not so easy to find in beach resort places) is amazing.

We loved the staff, the location, the food and the rustic bungalows. Motorbike rental opens up the north part of the island of you want to explore. There's loads of exciting stuff for the kids within 5 mins in a cab.

Great Location”
we enjoyed our stay very much there. The staff is absolutely beautiful and take care of everything. I was hurting my leg on a snorkeling tour and they doctored me very well. Every trip we made was perfectly organized and the food at the restaurant was very delicious. So we highly recommended this location!
