Nice hotel on the hill”
Nice hotel with great location: not far away from beach, diving centers, shops, bars and restaurants. In addition, the hotel located on the slope of the hill, every room have the fantastic view on the sea and mount Agung. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quite big. Despite the bathroom is outside - not a problem, because is's usually quite warm and almost no rain. I recommend to use anti-mosquito curtains adound the bed, don't ignore it, it really helps. The breakfast is delicious, they serve big choses of meals in the morning - pancakes, eggs, omelette, fried eggs, bacon, eggs Benedict, banana bread and etc. In addition they serve early breakfast - comfortable for divers, snorkelers and if you planning to spend the whole day on nusa Penida. The staff is very helpful and friendly. If you can't get to the top of the hill by foot (it's tricky) you can order a car. I can recommend the hotel to all who don't have any health problems to walk up and down of the hill few time

Had great stay with amazing beach view cottage”
This is one of the best resorts in Lembongan island located on cloff overseeing the ocean.. It's a 5 star resort with great rooms.. Food is great but expensive .Rooms are huge, clean and I love the jacuzzi and the balcony. Only disadvantage is that they do not have room service for food and drinks given the way the resort is structured. Suggest you explore cafes on the deck and bag some drinks on the way back to the resort. Overall happy with the stay

Honeymoon in Paradise”
Simply outstanding. From the room to the view to the staff, this place earns top marks. Great restaurant with outstanding views and food and reasonable prices (for Nusa L). On our honeymoon, they arranged for a complimentary flower petal/aromatherapy bath. Really stunning in our semi-enclosed outdoor bathroom. Make sure to check out the Howf speakeasy bar downstairs. Gading took great care of us and is an outstanding bartender. High prices, but simply impeccable cocktails made to order (we just told him what we liked and were in the mood for, and he made us custom cocktails). One issue was with the jets in the pool. They were out of order for most of the ttrip, except for at about 7am every morning when they turned on without prompt and we were unable to turn them off. Definitely not the most relaxing for a honeymoon!

We absolutely loved this place (which was also recommended to us by a friend). It’s the best resort on the island, with great pools, bars and restaurants, there’s really no need to leave. A truly relaxing holiday. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing outdoor bath and shower, also a big balcony with amazing sea views. The only negative would be the sun lounges, they are ready to be replaced. Staff are lovely and go out of there way to make you happy. Highly recommend!! We can’t wait to for back!!

Stunning and loving Hotel”
We loved our stay at Batu Karang, we stayed in Villa 7 half way up the hill and had beautiful views over the turquoise water. The staff would drive us to our villa with a golf buggy everytime. The styling is stunning at it feels very relaxing. We used the 2 of the 3 pools frequently as we had a toddler. The 3ed pool is stunning with cabanas and is from 12y only. The included a la carte breakfast is delicious and set us up for a great day. Anything can be organised through the Hotel including babysitter, boat tours, pick ups for restaurants ect. The staff made the stay very special as they all remembered us and made a big effort. We would come back to the Hotel.

Birthday celebration! ”
Spent a birthday celebration here due to the exceptional reviews and it did not disappoint! Unfortunately, I had a case of Bali Belly during my stay here and was bound to my bed on my birthday due to my illness and I cannot thank the staff enough for being so accommodating during our stay. They were kind enough to work around our needs, assist with a doctor visit and even have us cake on my birthday (although unable to enjoy) it was such a kind gesture during a frustrating time. I have to say thank you to all the staff for meeting our expectations and for making sure to make my visit as special as possible despite the unfortunate circumstances. Thank you so much for all your kindness!! We are truly grateful for your warmth.

Troy and his staff made us feel like a VIP all the way. The rooms were beautiful and the resort was amazing and the views were out of this world. We loved every minute of it. Don't forget to visit the speakeasy below the deck for a cheeky cocktail - out of this world! And do yourself a favour and book the speed boat through the resort they have the best fast boat on the island. Thanks Troy and team for making our stay memorable. We will definitely be back.

A memorable experience ”
In our 12 day Bali trip across 6 different properties, Batu Karang stood out as the most amazing experience. The villas are simply breathtaking in terms of design and comfort. Our connected villas looked out to the bay of Nusa Lembonggan with its crystal clear waters and boats swaying in the water. The food options within the hotel as well as nearby were absolutely fantastic. The activities we booked with the hotel were extremely well planned and great fun for the family. Our private snorkelling trip on 'Snoopy' became the highlight of the whole trip. Only negative is the confusion within the staff. No one was present to help us check in, and since the property is built on a slope extra attention is warranted when guests come in. When it started raining and we were hungry we were being shuttled from one restaurant to another and then being rejected which caused stress and discomfort. However, I would not let this stop one from experiencing Batu Karang.

Did you report anything unusual to Management during your stay? As this is the first we heard about our Front Office staff, we usually receive tremendous feedback from our guests & they are always available everytime our guests needed them. It is true that our Resort is situated on a hillside location, we have golf buggies facilities to assist transport to take you to & from your room for convenience. Was it at one of our restaurant? From time to time miscommunication can occur due to language barrier, but we can assure you our staff will be happy to assist all the guests if they would like to have their meals with us. That being said, it is such a pleasure to have you at the resort & hope to see you again!
Beautiful luxury hotel”
My boyfriend and i stayed here over Valentines day and had a wonderful time! The hotel is huge and has three wonderful pools, spa facilities and more. What blew us away the most though was the views - literally breathtaking. The best views on the island i can guarantee and you can enjoy it all from the restaurant, pools and rooms. I hope to come back in the future.

Perfect location”
Great location right on the sea front with amazing views from the room and bar and restaurant. The room was gorgeous and very clean with beautiful views from the huge bathtub. The staff were very helpful and kind - they have links it seems with Rocky boats and the transfer couldn’t have been smoother when going back to Sanur (they got our luggage on the boat while we chilled with a drink). The office staff (Dwen and Ninie) were super helpful and even let us move a booking that was not meant to be able to moveable. Would recommend you book direct with the hotel and definitely recommend staying here. We will be back!!

Best hotel so far on the island”
When we arrived, they welcomed us with a nice cold beverage. They made is easy to check in. Buggy is ready anytime to take u to your room or even to go out. So close with a sunset spot just a walk away. Breakfast is super nice. The view is to die for. The staff also super nice and very helpful. Very recommended.

This place is divine. The staff are friendly and warm and so helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated. It is just a short walk to Secret Beach in one direction and the main beach where the ferries come in the other direction. The rooms are all set back up a steep hill but they have a buggy where you can hitch a ride if you need to. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff and great location ”
Booked a last minute trip to Lembongan and the staffs at Batu Karang have been very helpful and friendly. They made sure that we got on our boats at Sanur and even arranged pick up. The entire stay was pleasant and location is central to everything with a great view. Recommended

We’ve stayed at Batu Karang many times and always had a fantastic time. Even after the pandemic and closures our stay this time was just as great as the last. Wonderful staff, 2 pools (we also had a Villa with private pool), restaurant and the view! Location up on the hill is fantastic. Close to lots of great places to eat and The Deck just below for cocktails. The resort has been well kept over the last few years. The only thing we noticed was the pool loungers need upgrading. Maintenance work was going on while we were there but in no way bothered us. Breakfast was varied & tasty and the view watching the surf from there was beautiful. I found the bed & pillows very hard and didn’t have a good night’s sleep- probably the only downfall to our stay. Overall a great choice!

Everything was great! The staff were very friendly and attentive, the location is quiet enough to be able to escape the main road, but also close enough to great restaurants and bars and the room and facilities was great. We woke up to a studying view every morning and a very yummy breakfast.

Loved every minute”
The service we received from the minute we arrived was exceptional. The gardens, the view and the room were above and beyond what I was expecting. I spent 4 nights at Batu Karang for my honeymoon. The staff arranged a complimentary flower bath one night with was beautiful. The food at muntigs and the deck was some of the best we have eaten in bali. The only downfall is the view comes with a lot if stairs. But we didn't mind walking up all the stairs to our room. It made me feel better about all the delicious food I was eating. Plus they have golf buggys that will drive you up if you don't wanna walk the stairs. Highly recommend bat karang

We stayed in a villa, it was amazing with an outside bathroom & amazing views down to the sea. Would highly recommend this property. Staff couldn’t do enough for you! We we on a B& B basis & the breakfasts were fantastic too!
