Et greit og hyggelig opphold i et sentralt hotell”
Helt greit - i et hyggelig, rent og ryddig hotell, med et fint baderom, god frokost, trivelig betjening og sentral beliggenhet. Det vi savnet var en minibar/kjøleskap på rommet, og dessuten en godstol eller to der til å sitte litt bekvemt i. For øvrig må det sies at vi ble noe sjenert av betydeliug nattestøy - hele nettene gjennom - fra folk og trafikk på gaten rett utenfor!

Ok hotell med sentral beliggenhet”
Enkelt og greit hotell til en god pris. Moderniserte rom, spesielt bad. Ingen utsikt men rolig og sentral beliggenhet. Midt i område for shopping, barer og restauranter. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale. Minus for frokostlokalet i kjeller.

Best in Barcelona”
We stayed 2 nights here and greatly enjoyed the place. The hotel is super clean and being serviced daily. The breakfast has a variety and is served every morning from 7-10:30. The location is super, in the heart of Ramblas which makes it so easy to get to all the attractions. There are subway lines nearby and transport works greatly. Food, restaurants ... everywhere and the staff is helpful and welcoming. They speak good English so language is not a problem. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great price. Breakfast included in the price - quite general but good enough. Room better than expected, cleanliness at a high level. Rooms were cleaned every day of the stay. It was only quite difficult to warm the place up after our arrival so the night was quite cold (February), but there were extra blankets that have saved us :) Nice and helpful staff at the reception.

Fabulous find”
What a great hotel. The location was perfect for us as just off Las Ramblas but not that far into the Gothic Quarter that you felt unsafe at night. The rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean and the staff were so lovely, helpful and welcoming. The only suggestion would be to have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Would recommend to anyone and will be my first choice when returning to Barcelona.

Good place to test”
Great location although it’s quite noise as it’s right next to a square full of bars and restaurants. Only thing I would suggest is to stop promoting their taxi company as I was quote a price in the hotel for a taxi to take me to the airport and the reception guy clearly say (quote), it’s about €35 but if you take one from outside it could be €50 cos the take longer routes to charge more! Yet, the taxi driver that the hotel called for us charge us €47.70 so it’s about the same as just taking one from the main road. Change that and you will be fine.

Such a lovely place”
If you really want to get to the heart of Barcelona, this is for you! If you want a quiet location..look elsewhere! Noisy (outside) at night..but it is Barcelona 24 hour nightlife! Perfect if you want to experience the buzz of the city. Spotlessly clean. Great shower room. Lovely staff. Great continental breakfast buffet in the cutest basement room. And..as for location. Perfect.! I will be back, soon I hope.

Great Location - Close to most tourist attractions”
Nothing to beat the location of Hotel California. Its located right next to Plaza Real, La Rambla and old town. Nearest Metro is just a 3 minute walk while Plaza Catulanya is 5 minutes. For a tourist, it seems to be ideally located. You are almost on La Rambla as soon as you walk out of the hotel. Despite being in the heart of activity, the hotel is quiet silent and isolated from the street noise. There are reviews of guests complaining of street noise, but our room was absolutely silent. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. There is a small coffee bar and seating space near the reception. Breakfast is included and is pretty decent, though the variety offered could be increased. The bathrooms were very spacious and included a bath-tub. Towels were changed everyday. Staff at the reception speaks English and were helpful. I needed an international adapter which was readily offered by the reception. On the last day, we were able to leave our bags till the evening.

Great location a little noisy at night”
We stayed for 4 nights in Oct 2019 The location is superb, in the gothic quarter, close to many attractions, bars and restaurants as well as metro. At night it was a little noisy from all the people in the close by bars and streets but I guess it is the ‘price’ you pay for the amazing location. The staff was friendly and helped us when needed. Thanks!

great located, next to to la lambla(1mins walk) and its oldtown area, which is of course busy and loudely at night due many bars next to it, beds kind of hard, prices okay.

Hotel in the Center of Gothic Area which is the tourist center... easy to find food and supermarket... room size is spacious, but I wish they give an electric kettle in every room...
