Ok hotel nærme stranden men langt fra spisesteder”
Hadde booket gjennom internett på grunn av fine bilder,men ble skuffet over det daglige vedlikehold og renhold. Et de lux rom for to var bestillt og etter litt frem og tilbake fikk vi rommet med litt sjøutsikt. Greit rom men ikke rengjort. restauranten eller matsalen var det ikke mye positivt å si om. Elendig servise og selv om menyen viste bra utvalg hadde de ikke varene. Det resulterte i at vi dro til nærmeste tettsted og spiste der. To dager i uken var det grilling av sjømat på stranden og det var meget bra. Vinmenyen var elendig i utvalg så vi drakk mest øl. Dette hotellet trenger en sterkere ledelse som kan veilede personalet i hva skandinavier forventer av servise. Etter en samtale med manager over et glass godt drikke forandret servisen seg til det bedre og spesielt til frokost. Da fikk vi til og med stekt bacon uten å måtte vente til eggene ble kalde. Er du glad i lokal mat og spesielt sjømat,samt ro, fred og trygghet for småbarn er dette et ok sted. Men krever du servise, vestlig mat, vin og litt liv omkring deg så prøv et annet hotel.

Cool little bungalow on the beach”
We stayed for a few nights and were able to get pretty good nights sleeps. The bed was comfortable, the A/C was cold and the shower was fairly hot. There is construction that goes all night but after a while you get used to it and its not terribly noisy. The staff were cordial but not super friendly. I tried to opt out of the 'complimentary' breakfast but that was not an option. The breakfast was certainly not something I would pay for considering food just walking distance down the street is much better BUT the facility (dining area) was clean, and new looking. The spa that is attached was a bit disappointing, meaning: i had an ok massage but my g/f had very bad customer service and the therapist could not wait to leave, even leaving before I gave a tip... The Spa facility is nice and smells pleasant. The beach in front is Very nice, clean and not loud at all as are some other resorts up the beach. I'd stay again but next time, request the remodeled bungalows... we stayed in what looked like 1 of the last 3 bungalows that still needed an uplift. there were also brand new ones being built on the south side which looked excellent and ones the same size but remodeled and labeled "VIP" right new door - will get one of the newer ones next time. There was plenty of parking for our motorbike. The WiFi was pretty decent and cell (MobiFone) coverage was good. I'd go back

Construction Noise”
DON'T STAY Until the end of 2017 there is a big new hotel being built next door with construction from 7am through to 11-00pm some nights with no control from the hotel. The noise is very loud with no concerns from the staff to resolve the noise or advise us when we booked in. In fact happy to take money from us for an earlier night to the original booking date.

We were looking for a 3 stars hotel to avoid spending too much money for our 6 nights in Phu Quoc island. Cuu Long Resort seemed to be that kind of non expensive hotel where you can spend your nights in a correct bedroom and your days on the beach. At the end, it reminded us the movie Shinning staring Jack Nicholson ! The staff don't speak English, they are sad, I can understand that easily in that ghosty hotel , everything looks dirty despite the maid who knocks on your door at 8.30 am. On the beach side, no mattress, no staff, no bar, and the deck chairs are broken !! That's why we decided to move to another hotel but more expensive because we booked at the last minute just before the New Year's Eve ! Thank you Cuu Long Resort

Excellent staff. Awful hotel ”
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The beach location was nice. But apart from those 2 things, there's nothing else good to say about this hotel. The beds were very uncomfortable. The shower was bad. The pool was average. There were major construction works going on in the hotel so impossible to sleep in if you wanted to. There were no mattresses on the beach chairs. Rubbish strewn along the beach in front of hotel - plenty of staff around but no one cleans it up. It's a nice quiet spot outside the busyness of Duong Dong, but I wouldn't recommend it.
