The staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming The view is amazing The food and the personal touch of the chef and f&b executive was wonderful Among the best service we have experienced ever within and outside India. All well except the reservation staff Mr Abishek who was very abrasive and extremely unhelpful

Great Place for a mix of beach/pool & sightseeing holiday in Goa”

This hotel is close to the major city in Goa - nice restaurants are reachable by walk - sightseeing places good to reach by taxi. Its a perfect mix between the quiet South and the too crowded North coast of Goa.

The only reason I will tell people to go Marriott Goa is because of their service which was excellent specially amandeep lakahan ranjita n chef dattaguru n Ashish at wanhao , The rooms really need renovation as per Marriott standards , I have stayed with Marriott in many countries rooms were superb in srilanka but here I was really disappointed . Marriott staff thank you as u made us feel at home n made it up for ur property ,

A 7 star hotel!!”

We were there for a wedding and had a sea view room. We were able to sit out and enjoy the sunset. The service was exceptional, particularly housekeeping! Even the guy who swept the beach greeted us with a smile! The food was delicious and in abundance. The room had all the amenities you could wish for. Truly memorable and highly recommended!

Outstanding ”

All staff diligently provided a very personal but relaxed and natural service. They recognised I was a solo traveller so came to speak. The food was excellent. Way above the usual Marriott brand offering. If I have one suggestion it would be to have an adults only section of the main buffet restaurant, to improve everyone's dining experience.

Proper blend of luxury and comfort”

we were 3 friends on this trip and all of us had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. Service level was unbeatable and staff was very helpful at all times. I think this hotel definitely deserves my next stay in Goa.

The next Bali!”

The Goa Marriott has definitely earned it's 5 stars! Such attentive and genuine staff- I've travelled a lot and stayed at many different hotels and locations; and I can honestly say I was thoroughly impressed with the Goa Marriott! Beautiful rooms with an amazing view of the beach. Great breakfast- combo of international and Goan food. We stayed there for 4 nights and were not at all tired of the delicious food! We also hired a driver for 3 days- Prasad, who was truely great! He was attentive and friendly, as well as very knowledgable of where to go and what to do in the area. He recommended some really awesome places to eat as well as some gorgeous beaches that were not on the tourist list. Overall, it was one of the best trips I've had so far, and if I ever come back I will definitely stay at the Marriott!

Hotel staff were fabulous, exceeded my expectation”

I only have good things to say about the Goa Marriott Resort and Spa. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help my colleagues and I. It was truly appreciated! The hotel definitely has a resort feel and the food was outstanding, especially their buffet meals. I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will stay there in future visits!

Beautiful hotel, excellent service”

We stayed at the Marriott for 5 nights after spending two weeks in south Goa at Palolem Beach. The hotel is beautiful and very well kept. The staff are all very friendly and the service was excellent. However, the hotel is located right on a public beach that is dangerous for swimming. The beach is dirty and uninviting and one is not able to swim in it. (Goa offers many beautiful beaches along the coast and this is definately not one of them) Also after spending nearly two weeks in India prior to arriving at this hotel, we realized how incredibly overpriced the food and drinks were. For example, water in restaurants may cost up to 50 rupees, while at the hotel a bottle will cost you 110 Rupees!! If you are looking for a luxurious hotel to spend your days lounging by the pool, this is definately the place to be!

Good Location great place”

We stayed in Marriot for 3 days and it was one of the best hotels to stay in. Apart from a few initialhiccups (delay in room allocation and baggage mix up) the stay was really good. The pool side restaurant is really good and the rooms are really good to stay in. Overall the experience was very good

Amazing hotel. experience and staff”

what a fantastic place to stay. goa marriot is a dream place. from the moment you arrive, to the minute you leave, you are treated unbelievably well. no request was too much, the staff even sent me flowers and made me homemade remedies when i was unwell! goa marriot is unlike any other place i've stayed before.

Excellent ocean/river views from club floor suites”

Although this hotel is in the high-end of the market, it is well worth staying at. The luxury suites at the 3rd floor are truly luxurious, breakfast is excellent, and the city cinema is only 10 minutes away by car.

Nice functional hotel with a great view”

great view from the hotel lobby and pool but a lousy beach that is not clean. in the evenings from across the pool there is a traffic of sight seeing boats with very loud bollywood music blaring and ruining the peace.

Great location for a short getaway”

The location of the Goa Marriott is ideal if you want to get away for a quick break. Proximity to the beach and the large pool made the stay very relaxing. While service was good, having experienced the outstanding service at Pune Marriot Hotel and Convention centre, we felt that there is much room for improvement. Do not expect value for your money. Meals are on the expensive side and although quality and taste is good, it does not match the 5 star presentation that I would have expected. There was a buffet on offer during our stay but - we discovered that it was more expensive for dinner than lunch, Outside taxis are discouraged and the hotel car service is preferred. We found that sometimes we could take a short walk away from the hotel and get a taxi at about half of the hotel price. We did the Spice Plantation tour at less than half the amount quoted from the hotel. The "Spa" in name of the hotel is misleading. There is nothing special about the spa; it is not unlike any spa you'd find in a city hotel. I expected the spa will offer a relaxing and calming environment. Not so, once a session is over, you are abruptly asked to immediately vacate the treatment room to the steam bath/jacuzi/shower area. One looks forward to a short chance to soak up the oils and linger in the quiet space. It would be so much better if the spa could offer a relaxation area where you could chill after a session. The business centre is poorly maintained and I needed to forward a document to the front desk in order to print it.

Typical Marriiott”

this is our 8th separate stay in 4 years. what more can i say?great place for business in panjim. every facility and good for relaxing after a hard day. wouldn't recommend for kids if you want beach and sea. is located on small beach, nice for walking but no swimming in river estuary. i am marriott gold elite so get all usual pampering including free breakfast and 20% off restaurant bills. guests with no marriott status seem satisfied. not cheap though.

lovly hotel”

it is very lovly hotel to spend your honymoon days and it is good also for sightseen trips, along with shopping areas, hotel are great and clean and food is nice, plus the facilities are very good and clean to use, such as swiming pools, and the spa center.

A Beautiful Place”

This is a great hotel to visit if you want a restful stay. The Hotel has a wonderful open veranda that opens to the sea. The pool is wonderful and has a pool bar. The hotel staff is very accommodating and each gust has a personal valet to watch out for their needs.

Very good Hotel”

I stayed this Hotel because of my business Hotel. But this was very bad opportunity! This Hotel is for take very special holiday with the family and staying around one week or so. The restaurant of this Hotel also very good, so that I enjoyed the restaurant two times for one night stay!

Hyggelig”

We booked a room for a night through agoda and had requested a double bed room. We infact got a twin bed room. But that was not the only problem. The television in the room was not working and the bathtub was broken. We had to repeatedly call the staff to fix things in the room. Overall experience not worth the money spent.
