Highly recommended hostel!”

Viva and her family are wonderful hosts - welcoming, accomodating, and kind! She drives guests to the night market every evening, is attentive to needs during their stay, and provides great recommendations. The hostel is newly renovated and clean; the dorm beds with a curtain feel private and cozy. The breakfast is delicious. I immediately felt comfortable and at home here!

Exceptional ”

This was one of the best places I’ve been in my entire trip. I’m a solo traveler, and I’ve been traveling for a while, and about this place I could call home. Viva the owner is just an amazing person, the most kindest and warmest host I’ve found in my trip. She is managing this hostel alone with her son’s help. The place is super quite the A/C work perfectly and when you want. The space is super clean and the sheets and towels are change regularly. The breakfast is very nice and Viva is the one cooking, and for only 15 bahts you can try a delicious Vietnamese yogurt. The place is door to door with this day market where you can find local products and also very near by to a small Thai food restaurant. In 20 min you are in the town or center by walking, so is not far but if you want Viva can manage a moto bike for you to rent. Also everyday she has a shuttle at 18:50 so you can see the beautiful clock and then the night market. I highly recommend this place I was supposed to stay 2 nights end up staying 5 nights. Viva always have good tips so please ask her or talk to her about what are you looking for she will answer the best way. She also helped me with my visa run and my places to visit next, and always found the most affordable way for me to visit nice places. Don’t think twice just book here. Thank you for everything.

The owner is very nice”

A bit far from town but very close to Sunday market. The owner offer free ride from hostel to center night market. If you rent bike, won’t be a problem. If you want to rent bike, could rent from hostel. They will call bike shop and bike shop will bring bike for you. They keep your passport or give 2000 deposit.

Home away from home”

I regret that I only stayed for a night. The owner and her son were really nice that they would make you feel like you didn't leave home to wander. The dorm beds are clean and spacious with air-conditioning. The common areas are cool cafe style. There's a snack and cafe bar available 24 hours for you to make your own coffee and bread. I love the waffle that was prepared by the owner. The owner is really helpful. She made sure that I experience the best of Chiang Rai even for just one night. His son took me to the night market (where I also witnessed the clock tower's light show). The following morning, the owner woke up early to prepare my breakfast then drove me to the bus terminal. Note that I only paid for the bed yet they provided extra services for free. I would definitely recommend this hostel. One of the best!

Amazing breakfast ”

I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews honestly but this is a special case. The hostel is a bit outside of the city center but it won’t be a problem if you have a scooter (you probably will need one anyway, you can rent one at the hostel). The lovely lady who is the owner of the hostel offered us a ride to the night market every night and even brought us to the station in our last day (at 4AM). The free breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in a hostel. Whenever I come back to Chiang Rai I’ll definitely stay there again.

Charming hostel ”

The hostel has a great atmosphere. You have plenty of spots to relax and meet other travelers. The breakfast is one of the best I had in hostels : the owner makes chocolate and banana pancakes everyday for the customers. You can rent a scooter if you need to visit the white temple, blue temple or one of the waterfalls around. The owner is really kind and thoughtful. She helped me when I had to order a taxi and propose excursions to the night market. I really recommend !

The best hostel in Chiang Rai!”

The best hostel in Chiang Rai with cheapest price but so comfortable . Lotcation is oki. The staff is so nice. The boss is so friendly, she pick customer up hostel to nigh market at 6:50pm every. It is free. The price included breakfast but it is not good but enough for me

Such an amazing hostel!”

Grace Hostel is fantastic. The host is lovely! Every night she drives guests to the night market. Early morning, she also drove me to the bus station to get the first bus to the border! Breakfast is free. The host cooks an endless amount of delicious chocolate chip pancakes. There is also toast (with butter, jam, marmalade, honey, chocolate spread), cereal with milk, and fruit. It's such a nice way to start the day. The space is large and comfortable. The bathrooms are large and clean, with hot water. The beds have curtains, lights and power sockets. It's all just perfect.

The best hostel I've stayed till know. Super clean, good vibe, nice people, huge lockers, delicious breakfast and the lady on charge is the cutest. Always trying to help you out as much as she can. You won't regret to stay here!!!

Felt very cozy at Grace Hostel”

The owner, Viva, is a lovely woman who cares about her customers. Her hostel is her home and because of that I felt very comfortable like at home. Great, all day, breakfast ; ) Highly recommend the hostel, although it's a bit far out of the center.

Top hospitality and quality”

This stay was one of the best I had. Riwa, the tenant, is full of surprises and really make your stay pleasant. She truly wants to help the traveller in whatever she can. The cleaning is outstanding. The breakfast is full of love with homemade jams and the best original pancakes ever. Cheap self-service laundry. All these positive things outweighs largely the few negative ones. The hostel is far from downtown (2.5 km) but has bicicles and motorbikes to rent. The pillows are a bit thick. I loved my 1 week stay in this place.

One of the finest hostels in Thailand”

This place is the best from every point of view. It's not an adaptation but specifically designed for hostel while giving it a home like atmosphere. But the best is the owner/manager, a single mom who built this hostel from foundation and runs it with love. She treats everyone like a family and if you have to wake up at 5:30 am to catch the 6:30 bus to Laos she will get up to give you a ride to the bus station. I've stayed in bad hostels and in good ones. Grace Guesthouse is my favorite.

Absolutely”

Everything is clean, there is a lot of showers and toilets, the snugness oh the room (thanks to the curtains) make it a perfect place to have a rest. You have a lot of equipments, the breakfast is absolutely fantastic (the best one I had for now) because the woman (who cares of you each time you need) makes you a particular one. She made me vegan breakfast all morning and smoothie ! 🍌🍪 And most of all : staff is perfect !! The woman (I don't know her name) is so helpful and smiling all the time :) Perfect 👌

Super host”

Before check in we've some misunderstanding about the booking, however i've rebook with Grace. That's not a bad decision at all. We've the 8 room bunk bed for 5 of us. The location is not too bad since we've a car and the owner even drive to park for us(No parking at the hotel). The owner and her son is really helpful and really has service mind. Her banana pancake is a must try. I don't know how can she provide such good service in such low cost. Thank you ka.

One of the best hostels i stayed in Thailand! . You get an awesome breakfast every morning (pancakes, egg, toast, fruit). Great facilities and comfortable beds (pod-like so you have your privacy). And the owner is so nice and helpful! Was a really great stay, so sad i had to leave! Not located in the city center but there are enough restaurants etc in the area.
