The hotel is located in a good place for skiers, but only if you can ski on red slopes because of the first slope you need to take from the hotel for you to come to the ski lift. Otherwise you should take the lift 3min away from the hotel. Our rooms were located on the 4 floor with a very nice view. The breakfast and dinner is good. They give service to skiing school-children and it will therefore be a lot of children at the breakfast and dinner area. This didn’t bother us. The hotel is definitely not suitable for people who can’t tolerate noise because the room isolation is bad. The staff is very friendly, I would say excellent! We hired skies, which were good but their snowboards were bad. Other than that the staff in the rent shop is excellent!

Food was good in hotel, staff very friendly. Rooms very basic. One massive problem is the secure parking. Charge of €10per night. We had to wait a long time after pushing buzzer on barrier for reception staff to notice. Three times we had to get out of car and wave at the receptionist to open the barrier. When they are talking or seeing to clients it seems they do not hear or note the barrier bell. This system should be improved as soon as possible, perhaps with room key swipe. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Our rooms were basic, but clean {most important} the location to the nearest ski lift was only 5 minutes walk or a 15 minute walk to the village center. The bar had a good selection of drinks and food, breakfast was buffet as was dinner in their restaurant. The ski rental shop is in the lobby, but what was outstanding was the front desk. Has to be one of the most helpful I have ever come across, outstanding. The only draw back is parking is limited so book early online.

It is out of the way but perfect for families if you just want to stay in the hotel after a day skiing everything is clean in all social areas but in the rooms the bathrooms definitely need upgrading and the rooms all look very tired which in turn makes them look as though it’s not clean also cleaners don’t do your rooms until mid afternoon so if you want to go back for a rest your bed is not made and you are waiting around for cleaner therefore you cannot relax

We had a great time but the rooms are very small and not at all sound proofed we could hear every word and I even gave some ear plugs to a complete stranger who was wandering angrily along the corridor as he couldn't get to sleep! The location would be fabulous if there is enough snow but we were end of season but we didn't expect ski to door late season. The main problem was tiny room for 3 people I did ask for a bigger room and despite having also booked 2 other rooms the man on reception did not offer any swap, I had hoped to have a balcony too but apparently only 1 of the rooms for 3 peole has a balcony. I was surprised that we weren't offered a swap even though the hotel was clearly not full again not surprising as it was end of season but we had booked 3 rooms so a gesture would have gone a long way.. One of the main reasons I booked the Monachil was because of the hot tub which was closed our entire visit

Ski in ski out”
We choose this hotel because of its closeness to the slopes and being able to ski in ski out! We had a balcony room with an amazing view this time. Had 2 massages at the spa which were amazing and such value too. The only criticism is as always the lack of ambience in the dining room. It's still like a works canteen but with a little thought could make dining for individuals and couples a more congenial affair. Otherwise couldn't fault it.

The large breakfast lady has a condescending attitude towards non-Spanish nationals and spreads a bad vibe around her. Other than that staff performs well and the Hotel is a decent choice.This was my 3rd time spent in this Hotel.

Hotellet har ett bra läge, ski in ski out. Hotellet är mer ett vandrarhem för ungdomar. Verkar inrikta sig på klassresor för ungdomar. Ingen ljudisolering i rummen, gick knappt att sova. Välj inte till halvpension då maten var bland det sämsta vi fått på ett hotell någonsin. Små rum och sängar med äckliga filtar. Det enda positiva var läget.
